First Photos Of Paris Jackson Since Suicide Attempt — Her Remarkable Recovery At Boarding School Revealed

With freshly-dyed red hair and a beaming smile, Paris Jackson looks like an entirely different girl from the dark, troubled teen who attempted to take her own life earlier this summer.

Indeed, just 77 days after the teen’s overwhelming depression became too much to bear and she slit her wrists with a meat cleaver, Michael Jackson‘s daughter is clearly well on her way to making a courageous comeback.

These exclusive photos obtained by RadarOnline.com show a happier and healthier Paris, who is benefitting from her time at a private therapeutic boarding school in Utah, where she has been living since mid-July under the pseudonym “Frankie.”

The first images of the teen since her troubling June 5 suicide attempt will also provide relief to fans who have been left to wonder about Paris’ mental state since she was hospitalized unconscious after succumbing to the demons she’s been battlingsince her dad’s fatal 2009 overdose.

Paris was snapped on July 18 at the school’s graduation ceremony – surrounded by newfound friends who have shared similar struggles, as they bid farewell some of the school’s alumni.

“Paris was high in spirits,” an onlooker told RadarOnline.com, revealing that she wore bracelets to cover the scars from where she slashed her wrists.

The occasion marked the first time she has been seen in public since the suicide bid, when she had cropped brown hair and a distinct gothic look.

But it’s not just her hairstyle that’s changed: At the luxurious and rural school (which RadarOnline.com has chosen not to name to protect her privacy), Paris has decided to live under a nom de plume, in a bid to make an unremarkable return to a more normal life.

“Paris wanted to come into the school without fanfare, so she decided to change her name, to Frankie,” a source revealed. “She also dyed her hair. Some students still know who she is, but overall, most don’t. She’s just another girl from Los Angeles named Frankie. In many ways, it’s a new life for Paris.”

Paris’ new home bills itself as a residential treatment facilities for troubled teen girls with various problems. Surrounded by breathtaking mountain views and soaring plains, it’s a far cry from Paris’ hectic life under the microscope in Los Angeles.

Her tuition, which can cost up to $14,000 per month, includes lodging in a home with up to 10 other girls who are overseen by a house parent.

Those real-life interactions are the extent of her social life these days. On campus, Paris is largely being shielded from the internet and social media, as her grandmother Katherine has been convinced that Paris will have a relapse if she continues to read cruel taunts directed at her and her late pop superstar dad Michael.

And the school agrees. “There are three levels of privileges at the school,” the source explained. “Because Paris has only been there for a brief period, she is still on ‘daily’, meaning that she has to earn her privileges through a point count system for such things as good behavior, doing your homework, punctuality.

“Those privileges are television time, internet, access to the phone, socializing with girls from the other homes on campus. As a result, Paris’ access to social media is limited.”

In all, the school is a safe space for Paris to heal, far from the ”psychiatric hospital” that Michael’s brother Randy claimed Paris had been locked up in.

In just the latest chapter of the famed family’s bitter infighting, he wrote on Twitter this week, “I just hate the fact that you [Paris] will probably still be there on my brother’s birthday,” adding, “She is not psychotic. There is no reason for her to be in a psychiatric hospital this long away from her family.”

Paris’ biological mother Debbie Rowe fired back, calling the Jackson brother “grossly misinformed.”

“Like every school, this venue has a curriculum that students undertake,” the insider said. “The students also undergo group therapy and one-on-one sessions with therapists each day.”

Added the source: “She has been doing very well. She is very high in spirits.”

“She hasn’t sailed through this crisis but she is doing much better and with the help of those around her at the school, she’s on the mend.

“Paris is relieved she survived the suicide attempt. She really did cheat death.”

Still, she has a long way yet to go in processing her dad’s death. Said the source, “she still misses her dad tremendously. He lit up her life.”

As we previously reported, Paris was launched into the eye of the showbiz storm following her father’s death, as her moving speech at his memorial gained her national recognition, and put a face on the Jackson kin after Michael famously paraded them around in masks during his lifetime.

In the four years that have followed, she’s stayed relevant via various television appearances and on social media, making her a bonafide celebrity in her own right.

Prior to the attempt, Paris seems to be going through a phase of normal teenage angst, as she’d adopted a dramatic, darker new hairdo and was reportedly rebelling against the practices of her family¹s Jehovah¹s Witness faith.

For more of Paris’ courageous comeback, tune in to CBS’ Entertainment Tonight on Wednesday as RadarOnline.com reveals more details of our exclusive investigation. Check your local listings.

Somebody is talking to RADAR online again. Oh boy  ;) .

Paris Jackson ‘Thriving And Happy’ At Boarding School After Suicide Attempt, Chatting To Family Via Video

Michael Jackson‘s only daughter, Paris, 15, is thriving at her boarding school located outside of California, and regularly video chats with her family, RadarOnline.com is exclusively reporting.

It’s a remarkable turn around in the teenager’s life, after a suicide attempt earlier this summer.

“Paris is absolutely thriving and happy at the boarding school. She is making friends, and it’s wonderful to see, given the darkness that had taken over her life. Paris regularly video chats with grandmother, Katherine, biological mom, Debbie Rowe, and her brothers,” a family source told Radar.

“Her access to the Internet is strictly monitored. The students at the school come from very diverse backgrounds, and Paris is treated just like everyone else, which she truly loves.”

Radar obtained the first images of the teen that showed a happier and healthier Paris, who is benefitting from her time at a private therapeutic boarding school.

Paris was snapped on July 18 at the school’s graduation ceremony – surrounded by newfound friends who have shared similar struggles, as they bid farewell some of the school’s alumni.

RadarOnline.com is not revealing the location of the rural school to protect Paris’ privacy.

The school bills itself as a residential treatment facilities for troubled teen girls with various problems. Surrounded by breathtaking mountain views and soaring plains, it’s a far cry from Paris’ hectic life under the microscope in Los Angeles.

The plan is “for Paris to remain at the school for the next term. The most important thing for Paris is to have stability, a routine, and be in a safe environment so she can deal with her issues,” the insider told Radar.

According to this, commencement was not even until June 15th at that school.Maybe he had to go to summer school or something and then graduated. But summer school did not end until July 26th! None of this really makes any sense  :icon_rolleyes:.

the " remarkable recovery" aspect also reminds me of how bad off michael was supposed to be a few days before and then came back and gave those performances that we saw on the days just before the death.

Paris Jackson 'In A Good Place' - Grandmother

Michael Jackson's daughter is being treated in a special centre following her suicide attempt, her grandmother says.
3:02am UK, Tuesday 27 August 2013

Michael Jackson's daughter Paris is "doing much better" after a suicide attempt in June, her grandmother has said.
"She is in a good place, getting the help she needs," Katherine Jackson, the late pop star's mother, told Hello! magazine.
Paris, 15, was rushed to hospital from the family home in Los Angeles after cutting her wrists and swallowing a large number of over-the-counter painkillers.
She is now being treated in a secluded residential facility which specialises in helping troubled youngsters.
"She is doing much better," said Mrs Jackson.
"The treatment is going good, really good. She's my baby. It's hard for me, really hard.
Michael Jackson died on June 25, 2009 "All I wanted these kids to be is happy. The night Michael died Paris was crying and said, 'I want to go and see Daddy, I don't want to be without him.'"
The 83-year-old Jackson family matriarch shares legal guardianship of Paris and her brothers, Prince, 16, and Blanket, 11, with her grandson TJ.
Mrs Jackson said "not a day goes by" she does not think of the singer, whom she called "a very good father" and "a good son".
But she said her style of parenting is different from his - and she has got rid of the masks the children famously used to wear.
Prince (L), Blanket (C) and Paris (R) She said: "They were sheltered a lot when Michael raised them.
"I had thought about it and I said 'I am not going to raise them like that (wearing masks). But Michael had a good reason. He was trying to protect them."
She said the children were "incredibly polite" and that was down to the pop superstar.
She said: "He instilled good manners but it's a different generation, of course, and I don't understand the whole social media thing.
"They are always on their phones."

Yes ,just like Murrat lol  :LolLolLolLol: !!!
So, Randy makes his public "appeal" for Paris' return (sound familiar ?  :icon_rolleyes: ) and the people closest to her like Debbie and Katherine say she's doing good and getting better.
Was it so had for Randy Jackass to call his mother and just ask this first hand?  :icon_lol: :icon_lol:
