Title: Doesn’t this look like the casket photo?

This picture is from James Brown’s funeral.  But I swear it’s the picture turned to a different angle that is being paraded as the coffin photo.   :omg:

@hesouttamylife: yes, this is the photo that was used to shop the so-called "MJ-casket photo", and Michael was at James Brown's funeral in that pic.

Morbid joke :icon_evil:

They actually took a photo with James Brown in the open casket, reversed it and shopped Michael's head in it.

:icon_eek: :icon_e_confused: it looks that way. Look at the hands, they are on the exact same position as on the JB photo. I think MJ has proportionately much longer arms. Morbid indeed  :icon_pale:

They actually used JB's hands in both pics  :icon_eek:

That's a Photoshop guys, some hater or IDK who took a pic of Michael and stick it to JB's  body...don't trust that...

Correct me if I'm wrong, but the outfit Michael is "supposed" to be buried in was white, with his signature glitter glove. (According to LaToya, Bush, Faye et. al)

You'd think if someone was going to try to pass off a poorly executed photoshop, they'd at least try to get the facts right. :suspect:

This behavior just gets old after a while...why do people make these fake pictures?! So disrespectiful :ghsdf:

and TMZ is wrong to jump on board!

Yes... all casket photos have been photoshopped. We've never seen an authentic photo of Michael in a casket. There's one floating around of Michael's head on James Brown's body, as someone posted. And the one you've posted from TMZ is also clearly fake as you showed us the original photo... :Crash:

Thank you for sharing this with us. While I think Michael has thick skin its still disturbing how morbid and cruel people can be.

According to Latoya he did wear his white outfit, the one that was wore at the Grammy's. You know, the same one that was just sold at auction (disclaimer: according to someone on Twitter - haven't totally verified this information).

Blessings

Exactly Voice!  :icon_e_sad:  To go to these extremes is mean spirited and beyond cruel.  Though we know the pictures are not real, some poor fans believe this nonsense.  I wish we could make them see the light sometimes for their own sanity.

Now who would do such a thing???  My guess is Raffles van Exel.  Wasn't he the clown who sold the dead Whitney photo?

JB picture in casket in white gloves reminds me Karen/Bush talk about how they dressed MJ..So, I think Bush or Karen were describing MJ also in white gloves referring to JB, then Bush said he put white glove in the casket with MJ. But then when LaToya was aked, she said  MJ was wearing black leather gloves and  white costume that was sold in action coincidentally.

Yes the pictures are old, however, there was quite a stir in the MJ community just this week when this article was published.  So no, this is not ancient news.

December 04, 2012 9:02 pm  •  By Stacy Brown The Sentinel(1) Comments
A photo of late pop superstar Michael Jackson lying in his casket has emerged today.

(http://bloximages.chicago2.vip.townnews.com/cumberlink.com/content/tncms/assets/v3/editorial/0/fd/0fd9e8b8-3eee-11e2-839e-001a4bcf887a/50bf647a5548d.preview-620.jpg)

And, the publisher of the photo told The Sentinel that it is authentic. If it is, the photo would be the first time the public has gotten a glimpse of the King of Pop postmortem.

Now, Jackson fans are fighting back expressing outrage over the photo. The Sentinel has received telephone calls and emails from fans who have used words such as "digusting," "horrible," and "thoughtless."

One of Jackson's biggest fans who goes by the name, PearlJr, said it was much ado about nothing. PearlJr said the picture was taken not at Jackson's funeral, but at soul legend James Brown's funeral and it had been made to look like Jackson's coffin photo.

The photo appears in the latest Motown Alumni Association newsletter with the notation: "Facts on Michael Jackson in Death and Life."'

"It's in good taste," Billy Wilson, president of the Motown Alumni Association, said Wednesday.

"It's the actual picture taken, and the only one I know of with Michael in the coffin, but I didn't show the picture in the story," Wilson said.

Wilson has been president of the MAA for a number of years.

The association helps keep fans of the classic Motown Records label abreast of what's going on today.

The MAA list its primary purpose as scholarly and educational endeavors. It says it has over 10,000 dedicated members with over 20 branches around the world, and roughly 3,500 alumni of Motown identified as alumnus.

An email message to Jackson's estate was not immediately returned.

Jackson died in June of 2009 after being given a lethal dose of the anesthetic drug, Propofol, in combination with other sedatives to treat Jackson’s chronic insomnia.

His personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, was later convicted of involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to four years in prison for his role in giving the pop star the drug.

Last week, the world celebrated the 30th anniversary of Jackson's breakthrough album, "Thriller," which went on to become the biggest selling album in history.

Also, last month, ABC television ran a special documentary directed by filmmaker Spike Lee and centered on the 25th anniversary of Jackson's "Bad" album, which sold in excess of 25 million copies.

Wilson, who had known Jackson for years, reiterated that the photo in his newsletter was in good taste. It shows Jackson wearing dark sunglasses, his hair neatly combed with the star wearing what appears to be a sequined jacket trimmed in black, a white shirt and necktie.

Whether one believes the photo to be authentic, it is certain to cause a stir among Jackson fans, family, his estate and other observers.

@hesout.......I noticed that Stacie Brown wrote the above article. I see he is still fabricating stories about MJ to make a buck for himself. I  remembered  his name for being a co-writer with disgruntled ex-employee Bob Jones in their piece of trash collaboration released around the opportune time of the 2005 trial.
I found this interesting.   Nothing like posting some unverifiable info that absolves one from their treachery.

“In October of 2005, Michael and Tom Messereau went over the book in London and Michael later reached out to Bob and expressed that while he didn’t like the book, he didn’t think it was too big a deal and understood that Bob needed money”.

 http://acoupleofthoughs.blogspot.com/2011/06/stacy-brown-weird-jackson-family-friend.html
PS...I bought this book in 2009, but by a few pages in, I was so disgusted,  I ripped it up and set fire to it in my barbecue pit. I didn't want anyone else fishing it out of the rubbish bin by chance and reading it.

I also seem to remember Bob Jones on the witness stand in the trial having to admit that the hair licking incident that the media was all over at time was a lie fabricated to boost sales to a public who were already intoxicated by the garbage being force fed them by the media about Michael.

Final thought on Mr Brown....and he still calls himself a Jackson family friend?  :icon_e_confused:

@RK - Isn’t it sad the way Michael’s so called “friends” are willing to go to any extreme to cash in.  I guess he thought he’d try to run this baloney by the fans now in hopes they had let up on being on top of things.  We are always alert and actively flushing the bull down the toilet whenever it resurfaces.  I suppose he knows that now.  :beerchug:

You know what is so hilarious about all this...the timing!

Could these people be any less obvious?  :icon_e_confused:

First Thriller 30, then Bad25 came out...

....and here come the vermin out of the woodworks to cash in on all the attention.  :animal0017:

The main reason for this post is not about discovering the picture(s)  :icon_rolleyes: but about how these same old images are still being used TODAY to stir up new negative energy by posting them as “newly found” “recently discovered” “emerged today” only, exclusive, etc.

its such a shame that ppl are doing things like photoshopping pics, I hate the fact that most fans probably think this is real!! I guess its all about $$$$!!!

not necessarily an MJ hater who shopped the pics. Could have been an MJ fan (non believer) who can't except hoax or trying to disprove hoax. As we know, many MJ fans believe the hoax ethos is incredibly insulting, insensitive and disrespectful.

Just want to respond to something said earlier... No real friend of Michael's would stoop that low for cash.  If I had been Michael's friend or even a former employee, I would never do this.  I would rather go on welfare than to sell him out for money.  To do so something but getting your "30 pieces of silver" as far as I'm concerned.  Why go this far instead of stooping so low no matter what the price.  Because to me he has been burned enough already.  Why add 1 more by being 1 of the bunch when I can stand out by myself to him as being his 1 true friend.  Obviously, Wade Robson forgot this.  :michael-jackson:
