Title: Children are so precious
Post by: lilwendy on January 09, 2012, 02:21:52 PM
I just wanted to share this with you all....

I was marking spelling books today (I help out at my kids school) and this was an assignment that crossed my desk.  At first I was so sad but I guess I have a habit at always looking at the bright side of things.  MJ has crossed all boundaries and his legacy lives on.  He had such an impact that a little 8 year old boy in Canada misses him!  What an amazing thing that is!  To be utilized by God to such an extent!  All I could think of was... little boy.... YOU AIN'T SEEN NOTHING YET!  THE BEST IS YET TO COME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For those who need a translation:  Michael Jackson I wish I could extend your life.

Thank you Michael for being such an amazing vessel for God.  It's a blessing to see your life unfold.

Oh my gosh!! This made me cry  bearhug

Soo sweet! I volunteer working with kids at a preschool & one of the first days I wore my MJ shirt, one kid was like "I love Michael jackson!! He dances so good!" and when the other kids heard "michael jackson" they all looked at my shirt and they were all shouting what they loved about him. It was soo sweet!

It actually makes me cry to see my 9 year old son admiring him.
We watched Moonwalker together and suddenly my son looked at me and said: mum, you know, Michael is just like Mozart. And I said: what do you mean? And he said: a genius.

And it always makes me so emotional to see my son´s face light up with joy while watching „fun at neverland“ videos.
Never seen such a happy face.  ::P
Many times he asked me what we are discussing here on the forum and I told him frankly, that we are basically discussing how Michael managed to fake his death and that we believe that he´s alive (of course I explained to him why he would do that in words appropriate for a child).
And you know what my son said......he said: well then, he must have been planning this for many years  afraid/

Every morning he asks me: Mum, how´s Michael today? Is Michael already back?
And I say: No darling, he´s not back yet. And he says: well, then put on a CD meanwhile, so I can hear his songs and practice some dance moves. Like that you won´t miss him that much.

Leaves me speechless everyday …...

Oh yes he is. I love him sooooo much  bearhug
He has a very "different" perspective of life. Different from most kids his age. He tends to think "deeper". Which is adorable but makes life hard for him sometimes.

@MaryK Aww!

My 6 year old sister loooves MJ too. She loves wearing fedoras and she always asks me to make her hair curly and put it in a bun like his. I just recently started teaching her the drill dance! She's crazy about it. : )

@lilwendy: that is so sweet   bearhug . Probably he thought that if I really wish that I could extend Michael's life it will actually happen ::P I love this in children, they believe in dreams. I see this at mine's too. Their vision of how they see the world and their wise thoughts, as young as they are, are precious and encouragable. I admire them and I sometimes wish I could think and unconditionally believe like that, without restrictions caused by life experiences (hm.. this sounds a bit heavy, yet I'm a bright-side-of-life-looker like you). Thank you for sharing  :)

@MaryK: what a great and special kid you have. A   bearhug   to your son.

Thank you @everlastinglove_MJ. I´ll give him an extra hug in the morning and I´ll tell him where that comes from. He´ll probably go like: Oh no mum, you did NOT do that, you dit not tell them, did you...oh come on mum..." and he´ll be embarrassed  ;))

I totally agree on what you said: precious and encouragable thoughts and perspectives that come from children. Often so wise that one can hardly believe it. We can really learn a lot from our children.

Wow! Out of the mouths of babes....  We adults could learn a thing or two if we would take the time to be child-like....

What a Beautiful thread with some Beautiful stories!!! Thank you all! Our 6 yr old  grandaughter is also obsessed with Michael, and has been for the last 2.5 yrs. She knows all of the lyrics to his songs and she tries to imitate his dance moves...it just melts my heart. Children can feel Michael's pure Heart, I have no doubt about that, his energy is soooo strong, the fact that he can touch children this way says a lot! I have never seen my grandbaby happier then when she talks about Michael. She tells me all of the time that Michael is with her, like she can see him, but to me he is invisible...she says it is because he is "Magic"! Needless to say, Michael has become a part of our family, he is in our family's everyday conversation and for this I am very thankful. Our lives have been blessed by Michael, but when I see how Michael affects our children, and grandchildren...I realize that , that is the greatest Blessing of them all! I firmly Believe that our children will change this world for the better and that Michael has somehow "divinely" influenced them somehow....Life is Beautiful...I LOVE You all so very much, Thank you for sharing !

Thank you so much for sharing these - THEY ARE AWESOME!!! I would like to believe that if Michael does read this forum that it's these types of stories that he will read first.

What I see is that slowly, one by one, we are helping to bring truth about Michael to the future generations. These kids are learning who the real Michael is, not the one that media has massacred over the past decade. And by doing that we are spreading it forward.

I'll tell you briefly about my grandkids. I have 7 of them aged 6 and younger. The ones who are 2 and older all know who Michael is and the four oldest are Michaelized to the core. The three oldest sit and watch the Michael Vision DVD all the time when they come to my house. I've even lent the DVD to the two oldest (4 and 6 years old) to take home with them upon request.

Anyways, I bought tickets to the Immortal Show when it came to our city a few weeks ago. I struggled with whom to take because the show started after their bedtime but I decided it was worth it - they took naps in the afternoon so they'd stay awake :) I took the three oldest (one 6 year-old and two 4 year-olds) along with my son and his girlfriend.

It was the first show of that kind that any of them had been to. At intermission I asked one of the four year-old's if she was enjoying the show. She looked at me seriously and said "yes, but when does Michael Jackson come out". I had to laugh because I had secretly been watching the performers to see if one of them could be him.

My 6 year-old grand-daughter would lean over and tell me the names of the songs before I could even think of them. It was funny. She'd lean over and say "that's Smooth Criminal" or "That's Earth Song".

What was the most touching to me was on the ride home I asked my 4 year-old grandson what he thought. He was overly excited going into the show because I told him he'd get to see "Beat-It' which is his favorite video (that and Speed Demon). Anyway, in a pouty face he told me that they didn't do Beat-It. My son turned and said to him "yes, they did. Don't you remember?". Ethan then said "But they didn't do it like Michael Jackson". He liked the show otherwise.

Yep - out of the mouths of babes. Even though the show was great Michael's presence was still missed and NOBODY can dance like Michael. No way, no how.

Blessings to you all.
