On Tuesday night, Dr. Drew spoke to the photographer who snapped the last picture of Michael Jackson inside the ambulance the day the pop star died.
While they walked outside Jackson’s former rented Holmby Hills mansion, Dr. Drew began the conversation by asking Ben Evenstad what sort of things he would look for before that tragic day.
“We were either looking for a doctor's visit because we could always get pictures there, or a shopping trip,” he said.
Evenstad also noticed that Jackson was rehearsing months before his death.
“That started about five to six months [prior],” he said.
Dr. Drew commented on how so much had been made of the few days before Jackson passed away – the notion that he had been in such good shape. “[So] he had been rehearsing for quite some time,” Drew said.
Drew also mentioned how Jackson could sometimes be heard rehearsing in the mansion at night. He was reportedly known for being a night owl.
“He would stay up late,” Evenstad said. “I had a conversation with one of the members of the security staff that indicated there were many times where they took him out where nobody was here, meaning very, very late at night – three in the morning.“
Did this mean that Jackson's sleep problem was already well established?
Dr. Drew asked Evenstad if he had seen anyone making trips pharmacies.
“We would follow security staff,” Evenstad said. “A lot of times they would do advance work – go to a store [or] movie theater. We wanted an idea of what Michael would do later. Often times they would go to pharmacies [and] pick up various things.”
Evenstad said he could never see what was picked up because “they were smart enough to not let that picture out.”
Later, the two began speaking about the day Jackson died.
“One of my photographers was here posted early in the morning,” Evenstad explained. “Shortly after noon, he saw the ambulance arrive [and a] fire truck parked outside ... He alerted me [that there was] an ambulance at the house. At that time we had no idea ... it could be anything ... I got here in like 10 minutes.”
Drew asked if Evenstad was aware that something was seriously wrong.
“At first, we thought maybe one of the kids is sick – maybe one of the staff is sick,” he recalled. “Through the fire truck outside, we could see the computer monitor and it said ‘50-year-old male not breathing’, – knowing Michael was 50 years old, we thought, ‘OK, this is probably Michael.'”
Evenstad went on to say that he noticed Dr. Conrad Murray coming to the residence for a couple of months and that Murray was with Michael Jackson in the house for a long time.
“I heard some of the fans say they would see Michael Jackson leave five or six times a day ... go to the dermatologist's office,” Dr. Drew said.
Evenstad said Jackson would “be in the building where Dr. Arnold Klein is” ... almost once a day for up to three hours.
“I am a physician,” Dr. Drew said. “I don’t know of any condition that requires a daily dermatology visit over long periods of time.”
At the end of the interview, Evenstad, a man who observed how the place operated, was asked if he had insights as to how Conrad Murray and Michael ran their day.
“All the days were pretty similar,” Evenstad said. "The guards came and went at the same time. Murray came and went at the same time. Michael, when he was going to rehearsal, would be on a fairly consistent schedule. So my guess is, from an outsider's perspective, whatever was going on in there, was something that happened every day or every night and this one time it went bad and they weren’t prepared for it.”

In that time, he said he was in tip top shape other than going to Kleins office daily for 6mths and stayed there for 1.5 to 2 hrs.....He didn't need propofol to help him sleep then for 4.5 months. he mentions all the other rehearsal studios he went to, 6mths prior.
This supports the fact that MJ could of used a decoy who was "bait" as Michael went off and did normla things,,,,,,,,,

Ben made a point of saying this, rather than agreeing that he was in Klein's office. Don't know what, if anything, that could mean - I just found his wording interesting!

I agree this video is extremely interesting. Ben keeps looking away while talking.......you guys that know body language, would you say that's a classic sign of lying? It looks like it to me. What I found particularly interesting is that small snippet of video they show in the middle.....it's of that day, with the fire truck and tour bus sitting are there.....then the camera scans the front gate really quick...nobody around at all...it's empty of people. I need to re-watch the original videos we have seen. The garbage cans seem lined up slightly different.....again I have to question the shadows and time of day/year. It seems "prepped"ready for action..........

I agree, an interesting video.
At mark 1:17 Ben's telling that he was only shooting pictures of Michael's visits to the doctor's office (he says "to the doctor's office", not doctor visits) or shopping trips (NOT shots of visiting the rehearsals, why not??, instructions of Michael?), he informs us that the doctor office visits (at 2:00) were always in the late mornings and the shopping trips late nights.
Isn't it odd that when filming the fire truck 71, the shooting position at 3:10 is pretty high? It looks like it has been shot from a camera car or something. If that's the case, the complete footage must have been staged, because a camera car would be rather suspicious. At 3:14 Ben says "well, one of my photogs was posted here early in the morning"!? Weird, it seems that Ben knew there would be action, because he usually was posting late mornings and late nights. Apparently Ben was prepped ready for action 8-)

Wishingstar, you are right on.. I saw that he was not doing eye contact with Dr. Drew, his gestures with the hands were frequent. Spoke too much with his hands as he was nervous, lying etc... This photographer is in the hoax for sure.

Hang on a moment....wasn't the 911 call recieved at 12:21?? So how can he see an ambulance arrive shortly after noon?? He even confirms that he was the one who took the picture of the screen in the firetruck......at thats how we knew the call was placed at that time..12:21...
That screen could be the clue...or fakeAnother slip up...
So it confirms that an ambulance did arrive alot sooner....as Linda from Starmaps confirms, but she claims it was at 11:45....So who is telling the truth???

Fascinating...Ben would consistently look to his right rather sharply, which is supposed to be indicative of memory recall, and not lying. Except - he rolled his eyes over consciously, waaaay too far! When Dr. Drew pushed him about the time lengths spent at Klein's, his body language became irritable, as if perhaps - those were meetings with him in the DOCTOR'S BUILDING, and he's trying to cover it up. He's not a very good liar, his hands started going up in a subconscious plea, instead of directly across his chest!

i don't know , i got a feeling of dr. drew pushing the tabloid effect and ben kinda trying to pull the conversation back from that direction. i don't know if i have been able to convey what i mean. kinda like the murray doc , where the two lawyers are discussing things and one see's michael as weird and the other one has a different take on it. sorry if i have been confusing.
i also think it is interesting that murray seemed to have sort of a free reigne around there to come and go. also just a thought all buildings have more than one exit.

At 1:48 to 1:49 he mentions that they went to the Staples Centre and that's where they were FILMING This is It. It started in a studio and then moved to the Forum and then Staples. There is another video of Ben where he stumbles over his words about being there the day before. I believe he is lying lol...and yes his body language speaks volumes.

That's exactly what I'm talking about! When you take him off his script, he stumbles. He knows that liars look to the left, so he's forcing the look to the "right," but is going overboard! He's rehearsed this!! But Dr. Drew made him nervous, and he started to panic - but held it together, barely for the normal audience. I'm pointing to where his forced lying falls apart.

This you tube video at around 4:10 shows Ben stumbling over his words, again saying "Chris and the other people that were there that day and the "other" aghhh..." implying that they were there another day?? Were they there taking photos of the same scene? This interview was done back in 2009.

i agree curls..his wording is very guarded or at least he tries to be lol...we know from what Klein said that there are many different Dr's in his office...OK is there a way to find out a list of all the buildings or offices inside there? and what each office/building inside does?..

Ty for the video!!..i caught that to that Ben said mj was rehearsing 6 months prior..would that not put this is it sometime into 2008 ?..was it not Marlon that said they seen mj on may 14th 2009 he was in great shape and mj told him he was getting ready to start rehearsals then?..i would think a concert/ project/movie of mj would take a lot longer then a few months to get everything ready to go...also when asked by Dr Drew the trips to the pharmacy could you see what was in the bags..Ben said no they were smart enough to not let that picture out!!!..lol yes we know Ben that mj tells you what he wants us to see and not see lol..like the note found that said mask, glove etc..for the double?..i think Ben has more video, pictures out there and when mj gives the OK he lets them out lol look at 3:16 i personally never seen that part of the video!..

kinda poked around a little with the address of this building. looks like it is referred to as the Golden Triangle Building. just a few of the other things their besides Klein: Triangle management, Raw Talent, couple jewelry stores , Mario"s Alerations and one i find most interesting: Dr. Dahlia Keen, Psychologist. randy t. in his book made mention that after the trial michael had finally begun to get some counseling to deal with all of the things that had happened to him .

It's an interesting possibility, but wouldn't MJ have needed it mostly in the years immediately after the trial, and here now his head would have been totally focused on the creative output for TII. That's why he couldn't sleep because he was so pumped.

Options 3: Could MJ have snuck out the back door in disguise to do other things for a couple of hours a day, while the paps kept guard at the front? Same thing with Murray arriving at the house (if even true), that MJ could sneak out the back in disguise to do some other things at night.
We were also presented with the laughable option of Jason Pfieffer and MJ having an affair by TMZ, and later denied by Klein.
And Front posted about the Smurf t-shirt MJ once wore when leaving the bldg.
I think MJ was setting up complex hoax/ARG story plots with all this. A crazy maze with some dead ends...

Who says he WAS there for Dermatological procedures? Who gets daily procedures? I don't think even MJ.
I think he was there for other reasons. And I don't think he is the bad guy he is perceived to be by all the fans.

It is very disheartening to believe that ALL of Michael’s so called friends, associates, or what ever they consider themselves are so willing to make public statements that could shine a negative light on him. I have to conclude that some of this is done with Michael’s blessings and knowledge. Assumptions were made and taken at face value. So what if he went to Klein’s office and decided to stay for as long as he wanted to. He’s an adult and that’s what adults do. Who can say he was taking drugs during those times with any concrete certainty? It’s baloney! No matter if he went there everyday and stayed from dusk til dawn, unless these informants were in the room with him and/or by his side the entire time, they simply don’t know. It’s interesting that there are some people who are allowed to talk and others who are contracted to keep quiet. I think Michael was well aware and is still in charge.

I am positive we have two days...or at least two different films of the same scene...the backing ambulance.

Watch these videos, if you can side by side...in separate windows, minimized to fit your screen etc......
stop them along the way, compare shadows, angles, trees (I have a thing for trees, Michael says, lol)....compare each aspect.....
I found 1:19 on the Hollywood video, and :06 on the TMZ video of particular interest. Where people are standing, the tree's lighting from the sun, the points of the garbage cans.....all seem different...very slight, but different..... in more than just another camera different:

Who is Weiss who is Evenstad? Who's in yellow shirt and who `s in red? Which one films and which one posing? I still have problems with their identification.
If Evenstad took memory cards from all and went to process them immediately, you realize that no one else saw what came out and if there are any pictures? Could not replace them with others previously made? Weiss says he immediately looked at the camera to see what he make and to his great disappointment, everything was black. Picture, as we know, is processed. If really did not come out any pictures?
The last picture of MJ was made just by an old friend, with whom I mean, he could make a deal
How is it that we have a single picture with Michael dead, after two months the media has worked hard to bring to light the most trivial details about it?

And, most certainly, is Michael adviser in urgent medical problems.

If he honestly passed off that photo as a real "last photo", and has nothing to do at all with the hoax, then, yes
I suppose he's a liar of sorts.....media hound. However, I suspect he's acting upon Michael's direction. His
interviews always seemed so "practiced" by how he speaks. I am not saying whoever interviewing him is

I don't think that photo is even possible. We have talked about him a great deal, as everyone/everything else.

really doesn't even look like Ben to me, but that's what we are "told", lol. Who knows anymore.....things are so jumbled....
we have picked apart so much video....yet, every time I watch the ambulance video, I feel like something is out of sorts,
something is not right, something, something, something......it's nuts.

I believe we are experiencing something totally new in the art world.....perhaps a mixture of real-life drama, ARG, and good old-fashioned
magic. Whatever it is....it's amazing. Ben will get what's coming to him.......either applause or boos. I wouldn't worry too much.....
if it's one thing I have always believed.....Michael is in control.

Yes the last photo is fake. But Ben is more than likely on team hoax and worked 'with' or 'for' MJ on this.

If he honestly passed off that photo as a real "last photo", and has nothing to do at all with the hoax, then, yes
I suppose he's a liar of sorts.....media hound. However, I suspect he's acting upon Michael's direction. His
interviews always seemed so "practiced" by how he speaks. I am not saying whoever interviewing him is

I've always believed that too and I still am.
Too fool the media and the paparazzi in order to teach them a lesson, I guess you need to have a pap in your team, which could be Ben.

Yes, TS said MJ had to have 1 or 2 key people in each key area needed in the hoax, Harvey and Ben for sure, and maybe a few others. That would be a scary weight to carry, but I'm sure MJ was a good judge of character and of who was trustworthy, from being surrounded by leeches and sharks all his life.

Thanks for posting and comments. This is really interesting. Looks like this Dr Drew is suspicious, too. Agree that Evanstad seems to be in on this (knowingly or unknowingly). He said MJ wasn't the pop icon he is now!! So his death catapulted back to where he had been ( a reason for the hoax). Also a good point on how it was strange none of the fans had been captured. Really fresh new material.
