Jackson brothers set for Michael fan festival

Marlon, Jackie and Tito Jackson are booked to attend a Las Vegas fan festival honoring their late brother, pop icon Michael Jackson, organizers said.
The event, which is authorized by the singer's estate, is to take place Dec. 3-14 at Mandalay Bay Resort & Casino.
Jackson's three brothers are expected to take part in an exclusive question-and-answer session for fans at the exhibition Dec. 4.
The fan festival "is designed to transport guests through the life of the mega-star, showcasing never-before-seen personal items and career memorabilia," a news release said.
The exhibition coincides with the kickoff of Cirque du Soleil's extended "Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour" stop in Las Vegas next month. The Michael Jackson Fan Fest will only be in Las Vegas and will not travel to any other tour stop, organizers said.
Michael Jackson's personal physician, Dr. Conrad Murray, was convicted this week of involuntary manslaughter in connection with the singer's 2009 death at the age of 50. Murray was found guilty of administering lethal levels of sedatives and anesthesia to Jackson in his home in an effort to help him sleep, then leaving the room and failing to notice Jackson was in distress until it was too late. He also was accused of neglecting to keep records or emergency equipment on hand.
