Title: I'm alive and I'm here forever
Post by: mjssoulmate on November 24, 2009, 09:21:31 PM
Not sure if anyone had posted anything about this in the old forum, but
I finally figured out were "I'm alive and I'm here forever" came from.

The phrase comes from a song Michael and Paul Mc Cartney did together.  The song title: The Man
Here are the lyrics, which are very interesting, and I think a major clue about the hoax.

Paul McCartney - The Man Lyrics
There's a man
Who plays the game of life so well
Ooh, there's such a man
His thoughts you can never tell

Ooh and it's just the way he thought it would be
'Cause the day has come for him to be free
Then he laughs, he kicks then he rolls up his sleeves
I'm alive and I'm here forever, this is the man
And it's just the way he thought it would be
'Cause the day has come for him to be free
Then he laughs, and kicks and rolls up his sleeves
I'm alive and I'm here forever, this is the man

There's a man
Everybody thought they knew
Ooh, there's such a man
He's not like me and you

Ooh and it's just the way she thought it would be
As he says, something has happened to me
Then he laughs, he kicks and rolls up his sleeves
I'm alive and I'm here forever, this is the man

And it's just the way he thought it would be
'Cause the day has come for him to be free
Then he laughs as he rolls up his sleeves
I'm alive and I'm here forever, this is the man

Did you know this man can do anything?
Ooh, there's such a man
I wish that we could bring

Ooh and it's just the way he thought it would be
'Cause the day has come for him to be free
Then he laughs, he kicks and rolls up his sleeves
I'm alive and I'm here forever, this is the man

And it's just the way he thought it would be
'Cause the day has come for him to be free
Then he laughs, he kicks and rolls up his sleeves
I'm alive and I'm here forever, this is the man

This is the man, ooh yeah
This is the man
This is the man

Any thoughts?

I don't remember this song being played at the memorial.  I remember everyone taking the stage and singing Heal the World.  I could be wrong though.

A strange phrase indeed for a memorial.  Especially since the song it came from is not well known, really.  I think it was chosen as a clue.  I would like to know who put the whole thing together.  If it was Kenny Ortega it would go along nicely with his clue in his speech.
