This man truly is an enigma, since we can't even determine his height. He seems to be growing and shrinking by the day. I have searched for some pictures online to see if we can get any closer. According to the AR he is 5'9" but I really think he's 5'11". But these pictures aren't helping much...

With the BeeGees. Barry is listed as 5'11", Maurice as 5'8". Mike is the same height as Barry if he would have his head up. So 5'11" in this picture.

With Paul McCartney, also listed being 5'11". Again Mike has his head down, but they seem to be pretty much the same height.

Sammy is listed as 5'3.5", Mike is clearly a lot bigger. It's not possible to determine how much, since he is again not 'keeping his head up'...but it seems to be more than 4.5 inches.

Reagan is listed at 6'1". That's only 2 inches taller than 5'11", yet Mike looks like 5'8" or 5'9" :?

Jon is said to be between 5'7" and 5'11" (lol) but most say 5'9" is pretty accurate. Mike again taller, grew a few inches again after the last picture.

Unclear, Sinatra is listed both as being 5'11" (in '64) and 5'7.5" I think the latter, after seeing a picture with Mia Farrow, who is 5'4", but I couldn't see if she wore heels. That would mean the man schrunk again big time.

Jennifer Batten is said to be 5'9" and since I met her I know that is accurate, since she was a little taller than me. I have never seen her with heels anywhere, just boots, but Mike wears boots too and they seem the same height, so 5'9". That or she was wearing heels, which I doubt. But when I look at other pictures, or concerts, he looks taller...

Pavarotti is almost 5'11", Mike (if he again would have stood straight up) is around the same height or a little taller. So 5'11" again.

With Magic Johnson, who is 6'9". Hard to say, but the avarage height of a human head is 9 inches. Let's say his is a full inch longer, which makes Mike around 5'11" again.
I could go on and on and people can say he wears boots with heels, but the difference is quite big sometimes. His driver's licence says 5'9", his mugshot 5'11", info they take from your driver's licence if they don't measure you. He himself claims to be 5'10". Truth in the middle? I'd really like to know, because if he really is 5'11", that part of the AR will be BS as well.

I used to read the little Disney Adventure magazines when I was a kid and there was one issue that I distinctly remember them listing Michael's height at 5'11". And the magazine lined up other celebrities side-by-side showing the different heights. I'm not sure if that really counts for anything and I'm not sure why that visual stuck with me but it did. 5'11" has always made sense to me or maybe 5'10" if he isn't wearing shoes.

I know once Michael said it himself he was 5'11. It was in an interview. I am trying to look for it, just I don't remember which interview. He looks 5'11..

I really think he is only 5'9, but since he wears heeled shoes so often, people tend to think he is naturally taller than that.

His height has always truly baffled me! I would guess that he is about 5'10 but in shoes with
a slight heel around 5'11. I guess it boils down to which shoes he is wearing. ;)

I remember that someone said he or she was surprised when (s)he met him, because he was so much taller than (s)he thought.

His height just catches my eye a lot and I will find a pic I saw the other day around 2002 he looks so shorter unless the men around him were just really tall :?

I met a cuple at the bar I work at around the time when TII came out and we were talking about the movie and Michael and they told me that they knew him from the early 80s to the early 90s and she told me when ever they took a pic together he would always stand on his tippy toes...they both would she said, she showed me pics of the both of them...the husband also added that all Mikes dancers would have to be shorter or the same height as him.
I've also said this about his feet and hands, there is a cement block that has his hand and foot prints in at Hollywood studios in Florida and they are not that big as he looks in the past 10 years. Its just very odd :?

I read an article a while ago from a security guy in the UK . This was when he went to rehab around '93. He says upon entering the plane he was stunned that MJ was so big. They then sent a decoy/double out ahead and whisked Mike away secretly to the rehab center.

I would believe that if I would never see his feet. But on some videos and pictures you can see his feet and shoes and he's still tall. On some pics with the same shoes he's much less tall. Like I said, an enigma.

Yes I know where you are coming from, it's very odd. That cuple told me he was 5'10 so whom knows what's going on. My head is already hurting from this flu I have, and this question always makes my head thrub. :?

On "This is it", you can see how Michael is high.
Maybe he always seemed more down because of the short pants he wore in the shows.
I think he even has at least 5'11.

His height is kinda puzzling. Sometimes he looks tall and slender and his legs look super long. Then sometimes he look average height. I don't know if he looks taller because of his shoes having heels or maybe because of the fit of his pant.

I remember reading between Thriller and Dangerous from 175 cm to 182 cm. Towards the 80´s it was written in magazines of that time that he was 175 cm, after Dangerous it became 182 cm.
Also, his drivers licenses have different heights.
