Lisa Marie Presley Quits Uk
Lisa Marie Presley and her husband Michael Lockwood have decided to quit their UK home and move back to the US.
Lisa Marie Presley is quitting her UK home.
The 43-year-old star - the daughter of late rock 'n' roll legend Elvis Presley - had moved to Tunbridge Wells, in Kent, South East England, last year to escape the pressures and "gossip" of Los Angeles life.
But after just six months in the sedate town she has decided it isn't exciting enough for her and has decided to return to the US with her music producer husband Michael Lockwood and their two-year-old twin daughters, Harper and Finley.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Lisa Marie thought she'd love life in England but simply couldn't settle. She wanted to get away from Hollywood but ended up missing it. Although she enjoyed the scenery in Kent, the lifestyle wasn't for her."
It is not yet known if Lisa Marie - who was previously married to Michael Jackson and Nicolas Cage - has put the property on the market.
She paid £8 million for the 11-bedroom home which is situated on 90-acres of land and even has its own lake.
After Lisa Marie first moved to the UK she claimed she had fallen in love with the British way of life.
She said at the time: "We have found the quality of life so much more enriching and fulfilling. The civility, the culture, the people and its beauty have reawakened me and have smoothed out some of my bleak and jagged views about people and life."

I didn't mean she had to live in the US to be on team Michael - I don't even live in the US.
I just think she wants to be closer to him when he returns, offer her support. Whether Michael returns in the US or not, it seems logical he would go there at some point. I just find it strange that she moved to England after Michael "died" and appears to be coming back before he returns.
Or, maybe Lisa misses the sunshine.

Her stated reasons for coming back now don’t make much sense to me. I don’t know. 6 months is not long enough to really get use to a new surrounding. Sounds more like she’s getting tired of something or somebody :lol: Or perhaps he (oops) whomever has accepted he cannot win :? . I never believed she was through obsessing even though she swore to Oprah “this is it”. Easier said than done. But who knows? Whatever. Welcome home LISA :lol: Hope you drop in from time to time. Are you kidding me, her supporting Michael? She bad mouthed Michael when she was interviewed by Oprah.. I do not trust Lisa Marie. If she is coming back not because she wants give support. Maybe she is coming back for her father. Aren't they in court with this Eliza Presley? I guess they probably need her DNA testing.

I didn't really think she was bad mouthing him in the interview, she seemed kind of standoff-ish towards Oprah, defensive. What I got out of that interview was that she loved Michael very much, she didn't really understand him until years after they were divorced and she called him a master of manipulating the media which I thought was a pretty big clue in itself. Plus what she blogged right after June 25th, that Michael feared he would end up like Elvis (fake death?). That is how I perceived the interview, not everyone is going to see it the same way - which is why this forum is great because I get to see viewpoints other than my own.

I don't think that Lisa coming back to the states has anything to do with Michael. Of course, I also don't think that she is in on the hoax anyway. Maybe there have been some developments in the Eliza case and she is no longer concerned about the possibility of having to give a DNA sample, or maybe she simply decided that she missed home.

Which O interview? Not the most recent one. Back in the day- yeah, she did, but I think I know, why (which does not excuse it- but I have been extremely angry at someone I loved before). Plus, she addressed that in the recent interview.
She moved to the UK to get away from LA- or so she said. Of course, it the goal was to get away from the tabloids, it idd not work.
