CHICAGO, Ill. --
Diana Ross will make her first television performance in four years on “The Oprah Winfrey Show” later this month — and she’s bringing her family with her, Access Hollywood has confirmed.

In addition to performing, the “I’m Coming Out” singer and former Supremes legend will also sit down for her first-ever interview with all of her children and her grandson on Oprah’s February 25 episode.

Diana’s children who will be appearing on the show include Rhonda Ross Kendrick, “Girlfriends” actress Tracee Ellis Ross, Chudney Ross, Ross Arne Naess and Evan Ross. Diana’s first grandson, Raif Henok Emmanuel Kendrick, is her daughter Rhonda’s son with Rhonda’s husband, jazz musician Rodney Kendrick. He was born in August 2009.

The legend, whose career spans more than five decades, will take up the entire hour of Oprah’s show no doubt talking about going from her humble beginnings in Detroit to international superstar and icon.

She is currently on the “Now” tour.

Other guests to appear on Oprah this month include Celine Dion, who will visit on Feb. 21, and the winners at the Oscars, who will stop by her show, which tapes from the Kodak Theatre in Hollywood on Feb. 28.

In related news, Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Michael Vick has canceled his interview with Oprah over what he told the talk show host were “personal reasons,” per The Hollywood Reporter.

“We did a field trip with him. We had been shooting with Michael Vick. And the fact that he pulled out and all his people…” Oprah told THR. “We move on.”

Oprah wont’ have time to dwell though, the spot is now being filmed by David Arquette, his first post-rehab interview. The interview with David will air on Feb. 24.

I'm watching now.  Diana looks FABULOUS.  What style.  I can see why Michael has loved her so.

She came out wearing red just like Mrs. Jackson today  ;) She's changed to wearing black now.  Oprah is crying being in her presence.

I'm in tears.  Diana is sitting and singing a song to Oprah.  Oprah's trying hard to keep it together.  Too sweet.  Class act.

She calls the husband she had,  "the love of her life."  Sorry, I've forgotten his name.

She says family first has always been her mantra.    Now she says health is number 1, then family, then career.  She certainly looks good, her voice sounds good, and she really looks very youthful.  She appears very grounded, very present and blissful.
Says she's aging gracefully.  AGREED.

Oh wow!  She's going to do a concert close to where I live.  Gotta get there.

Diana Ross brought out all 5 of her children, and first grandchild.  It is evident that she completely loves her children and they love her.  Unconditional love there. That's what it looks like.

Evan looks like Blanket to me.  8-)   And look at a picture of him when he was Blanket's age.  I'm not necessarily trying to say anything... They just happen to look alike.

45 min. into the show and nothing yet about Michael

Hm, not one mention of Michael. I'm thinking Diana Ross' rep maybe asked Oprah not to mention it, like he/she told Oprah that Ms. Ross didn't want any surprises. Diana hasn't really been very vocal about Michael after 2009. I personally think Ms. Ross knows whats going on. But I'm pretty disappointed his name didn't come up...

Also Billy Dee Williams was there. Nice to see him. He played in The Jacksons: An American Dream (as Berry Gordy).

I'm glad that there was no mention of Michael.  I bet DR stipulated that she would only do the interview if there was no mention of Michael because I bet she's well aware of Oprah's 'obsession' with him.  Good for Diana!!  :)

Diana Ross obviously stipulated that MJ not be mentioned, just like no mention of some of her troubles in personal life, but why she chose to stipulate this about MJ was my question.

I'm figuring that she does not want to have to pretend, or continue to pretend, that she's mournful when there's absolutely no reason to be!!! Indeed that's good news.

Diana Ross interview was nice.  She looked good and it was nice to see her with her kids and grandchild.  The surprise from Billy Dee was also good.  I know Diana had to tell Oprah not to mention MJ.  She didn't utter one thing about him.  There were no photos of them video clips or nothing.  I found that interesting.  However she did sing Ain't no mountain high enough which she sang to MJ when she sat on his lap at the 2006 World Music Awards.  It was a happy interview with Diana which is a good sign.  No sad stories or anything about MJ.
