The Michael Jackson manslaughter preliminary hearing is all set to begin -- and Dr. Conrad Murray will be in L.A. County Superior Court.

Hmmm. The date adds up to 9, on the 9th floor and the "players" arrive at 9am. There are supposed to be 30 witnesses. If there are a surprise 3 witnesses making 33 we might have to see what they have to do with TII. Also in the TMZ article the words Michael Jackon, hearing, court,showed are all in green as redirects to another site. Amazon, Travel, attorneys and theaters. I looked up information on Murray's lawyer, Ed Cheroff, and he is from Houston. I know that Conrad is from there as well, but why have a Texas lawyer at the L.A. Court?

Three of Michael Jackson's employees, including one who was with the pop star when he went into cardiac arrest, are expected to take the witness stand Tuesday at a preliminary hearing for Jackson’s doctor, Conrad Murray.
Michael Amir, Jackson's chief of staff; Alberto Alvarez, a security staffer; and Faheem Muhammad, chief of security, have been subpoenaed to testify for prosecutors seeking to prove they have enough evidence to try Murray for involuntary manslaughter, said the employees' lawyer, Carl Douglas.
Douglas, who declined to comment for the story, confirmed that he would appear with his clients following their court appearance Tuesday and make some brief comments.
Douglas, perhaps best known for being a member of O.J. Simpson's defense team, complained in August 2009 that his clients wanted to provide more information to LAPD detectives. Investigators had conducted "informal" interviews with the men about what they saw and heard June 25, 2009, the day Jackson died. One of the interviews lasted about two minutes, and the other filled a one-page transcript, Douglas said at the time. He maintained that some of their information could shed new light on the time line police had established covering Jackson's final hours and the actions of his doctor. Police eventually did conduct formal and complete interviews with all three men in late August 2009.
Alvarez was with Jackson and Murray in the pop star's bedroom in the moments before paramedics arrived and could provide independent insight into what transpired, the attorney said. But he would not elaborate on those details at the time.
In search-warrant documents released at the time, police said Murray told them he gave Jackson the powerful anesthetic propofol at 10:40 a.m., watched him for 10 minutes and went to the restroom briefly. When he returned about 11 a.m., Jackson had stopped breathing. Police said three phone calls totaling 47 minutes were made from Murray's phone, beginning at 11:18 a.m. -- all before 911 was called at 12:22 p.m.
Murray's attorney at the time was critical of the time line as "theory, not fact."
Douglas, who in 1993 served as an attorney for Jackson, said at the time that Amir received a frantic four-second message from Murray at 12:13 p.m. with words to the effect of "come quick."

Apparently the prosecution said in the starting statement that MJ was dead long before the 911 call, that he called the bodyguard to help him clean up at least 20 min before the call.

I just heared it Grace; I am actually a little in doubt when interpreting this, I mean he says follow the moneytrain and sums up Sony, AEG, The Estate, the children and the family, so I wonder whether I may conclude the money ends up with Michael as well. The live stream I see, is outside and just on the doctor that has set up his book promotion "set". There is nothing to record. ow they are scanning teh people outdise on the street; an impersonator being interviewed but it has no audio.

10:40-11am infusing with propofol..at some point he ceases to breathe and dies after that
MJ dead before paramedics arrived

11:51am call- lasted 11 mins..witness heard noises at other end of phone
Likely Conrad Murray who realized MJ was not breathing.
12:12pm Call by Murray to Michael Emeer Williams, security, saying he needs help..left a message.
12:15pm Williams returns call and Murray says MJ had a bad reaction.
Williams calls another member of security who is not at house.
12:17pm Williams then calls Alberto Alvarez who is in second trailer outside house, checks permission to go in house, goes upstairs to MJ’s bedroom.
He Sees MJ on bed, Murray doing one handed CPR on the soft bed.
Murray reports MJ had a bad reaction and asks Alvarez to collect medical evidence.
Prosecution says Murray has still not called 911 at this point.
12:21pm Alvarez told to get a bag and Murray collects medical bottles, and IV bag etc., as told and only then is he told to call 911.
Possible that Murray waited 20 minutes to call 911...MJ could have been dead before noon.
12:26pm Paramedics treating MJ on site. MJ’s Eyes fixed and dilated and he was cool to touch. He flatlined so heart action taking place. MJ dead...no observation of appropriate equipment for treatment with propofol, according to paramedics.
Asked Murray about underlying medical condition.
Murray asked what drugs he had given...doesn't mention propofol
Prosecutors says this could have been useful.
UCLA medical center advised futher care on MJ useless..they in contact with paramedics.
1:07pm Paramedics transport to UCLA with MJ
1:13pm Arrive in ER room.
Doctors at hospital only asked Murray what he treating MJ for. Mentioned on drug, valium and flomax..no mention of propofol to UCLA doctors.
Doctors still tried to bring MJ to life.
2:26pm Dr. Cooper at UCLA pronounced MJ dead.
Murray had conversation with security personnel at hospital.
Detectives question Murray next day and then learned of propofol.

OK, in short;what stood out for me was Brian Oxmann being asked about the moneytrail that is to follow.
B.O. is talking about the question one should ask oneself:Who is profiting off of MJ? The interviewer plays this question back to B.O.who, in turn, answers Sony , AEG,The Estate, MJs brothers and sisters and his children.B.O. ends up with confirming the sad truth of the matter: MJ is worth more (billions of $$$) dead than alive.
There was some talking in the beginning about the impossibility of MJ injecting himself propofol because of lack of lidocaine =local aneastetic, which is needed to prevent horrible pain within seconds after injecting propofol. Then the interviewer talked about Latoya mentioning the moneytrail and the conspiracy.B.O. would not yet say it is a conspiracy and that Latoya is very upset about the facts he tells her and that she is absolutely right about the "follow the moneytrail".

I went to the court. Just got back. I have pictures, need time to resize then I'll post them.I saw Katherine in the same blue suit and La Toya in white suit when they got our from the court room for 15 min. break. I could not picture them cause security pushed everybody back and said no pictures.
I went at 10 am. Outside media and fans. I got inside and was surprised that they allowed cell phone. The dept. of hearing is in room 107 on the 9th floor.I questioned security outside the room and learned things I did not know. They allow 5-10 people by chosing them in lottery. If I be there at 8.00 am, I would get the number, then they pick numbers who can be present at the hearing.
I met 1 woman who was chosen to get in and she was believer. She said about what Ortega testified. Then she look at me said: "I am not the person with this side of people. I am a believer and there is almost going to be said "illusion". I don't know what she ment, I asked to explain, she said she thinks that MJ "took from there" to disappear. She also met with Pearl Junior and familiar with Pianogames videos. I told her to visit this website and talk to us. BTW, Katherine and La Toya looked very thin, they lost wait. Katherine so little......

Called and invited..great about this ...like u to work with me...excited about it...tremendous potential to be creative..MJ shared reasons for wanting to do it.

Good time to perform again, his kids appreciate it, for his fans, remind people to take care of planet and each other.

MJ asked about going to India....wanted Ortega to go..MJ asked if Ortega had visited Japan...taking show to these places.

it is mirroring what Michael went through in the media in 2005. Murray hasn't even gone to court for the PRE-liminary phase to see if there is enough evidence to even go to a full trial. Murray is being prosecuted, tried, and hung in the media jury and public perception of him because of all the stuff coming out like this autopsy show on Discovery.
Every time something is reported on Murray and his whereabouts, his vacation spots, his daddy issues, whatever it is: the public is being made to believe he is guilty. This is media bias and jury pollution. There will be alot of people who get pulled for jury duty and their minds will be corrupted and tainted by the media coverage before his trial.
Even if this Discovery channel show is highly disrespectful; I think it is a double edged sword. It will shine light on how Michael was crusified in the media before his trial in 2005. Murry is already guilty in many people's eyes, many people really still believe Michael is dead.
That show was reported to be canceled shortly after I posted my opinion on it but, I still believe the main message which is Murray is mirroring everything Michael went through right before his trial, during, and after (maybe). This is only day 1 and look at the media circus, the people who are down there at the courthouse (selling stuff) making money off of the death of Michael Jackson.

This is a reality show like Survivor, where a cameraman follows everyone around. Or they actually do have the missing security camera tapes and are pulling pics from there.

If she knew your life was threatened and you had to "die" publicly, lie to the ones you love and put your family through the stress of publicly acting like you died, well then yeah it gets to you. You have to remember that katherine is just as sensitive as michael is. He is a mold of her. I can't imagine how hard it is on her. Hell, I can start to cry if I can't get over to a lane on the freeway. Tears can mean many things. It doesn't have to mean michael actually died. That being said, God give her strength.

If I'm not mistaken, they said that because of the side effects of the drugs. I do not believe the propofol bs. (You don't even go into REM so you'd DON'T feel rested- there's no point to use this as a sleep aid!!) If you don't believe the drug usage, there's no need for the pad, and thus no need to be naked from waist down. Also, let's just say if he was on drugs, if he did have a pad, hed probably have a diaper too. So still, not naked.

There really is nothing wrong with discussing the facts of the 2005 case and this one also.
In 2005 pictures were taken of Micheal's body, including his genitals. Testimony was given describing his body...incorrectly by the accuser.
In the current case, the autopsy report states that there was no clothing to examine, that the decedent was unclothed, that there was a condom catheter in place. There is a published (supposed) photo of the scene and an incontinence pad is on the bed . But there are other reports that Michael was wearing black pajama bottoms...inconsistencies galore.

Wouldn't it be easier though if the patient is wearing a condom catheter? I really don't know, but I recall reading before that Michael had been wearing a condom catheter and as Serenity mentioned above, there is a discrepancy as to whether or not Michael was clothed from the waist down. My personal feeling is that he wasn't clothed, but then someone put pants on him before leaving the home out of respect for Michael.

I know this is slightly off topic but I feel MJ was forever drawing comparisons to Christ, and this is no exception. This was one source but all the others I found said the same thing. Pictures always show a loincloth but that is fiction.
Yes, he was fully naked, and so were the other two convicts. Though all forms of public nudity is against Hebrew custom, the perverted Romans seemed to have delighted in it, especially when executing condemned prisoners. Most historians say flogging and beating a convict, then stripping him naked is part of the Roman's procedure before and during crucifixion. Most Catholic crucifix and paintings depict Him wearing a loin cloth because the Vatican deemed it improper to show Jesus' nakedness. It's a rather "sensitive" issue (pun intended).

Oh dear God, we're only 2 days in on the preliminary hearing and already we have rumours, dubious twitters, photos/no photos and so many inconsistencies that there's no way we can believe anything. Mainstream media reports I've read today couldn't even get the names of the Jackson family members who attended court yesterday correct (but at least they're reporting on it, so I suppose that's progress).
People's different perceptions and interpretations of various bits of information are so coloured by whether they have 'hoax', 'drug-addict', 'dead', or 'murdered' glasses on that I'm finding most opinions no better than one-sided tabloid judgemental trash. (I'm not talking specifically about people here, by the way, just in general, everywhere I've visited!) Many commentators have made their minds up and are choosing only to comment on the bits that fit their theories.
I want to read court transcripts of EVERYTHING that's said in that courtroom, not someone's subjectively selected version.
So I'll carry on watching, reading and listening ...... heaven knows what it'll be like if this goes to trial. I need to conserve my energy!

OK. I had forgotten that it was the AR that said he wasn't wearing pants. Now I can't even recall where I read that he was wearing pants. Not wearing pants makes more sense to me if he was indeed wearing a condom catheter.
Regarding the lack of ID, I suppose there is a possibility that Michael kept a copy of his ID in one of the Escalades in the event of an accident. I know someone who has a motorcycle and he used to keep a copy of his own license and his friend's license (he would give the friend a ride to and from work) in the saddlebags in case they were ever in an accident and their wallets were ruined on impact.
Regarding putting pants on Michael, I think it would have just been done out of respect knowing that Paps would be lurking outside. Although you would think that it would have been quicker to just throw a blanket over him.
@Grace - I agree that the US judicial system can be flawed. Many cases really do just come down to which legal team is the most believable and presents the best case. Having said that though, it could be worse.

You are correct about taking pictures at a crime scene. IF the parmedics or police knew Michael had died in the bedroom, photos would be taken before the body is removed. I had a neighbor who 2 weeks ago hung himself. The police took many photos before the medical examiners office removed the body from the house. the pictures were taken as evidence incase it wasnt a suicide.

Wow, sorry to hear about your neighbor! This has me thinking now that if the paramedics really believed that Michael was already dead, maybe they took the pics in case they would be needed in the future. It has been stated that Murray is the one who insisted Michael be taken to the hospital, even though the paramedics didn't think there was anything else that could be done. I don't know if paramedics carry cameras or not, but that is a possibility. Or one of the bodyguards could have taken pics for the same reason. IF Michael really did die, I would actually think that either one of the bodyguards or one of the paramedics would have snapped a few pics for evidence.

You knit your phantasies around "how it could have happened". So that's individual colouring or let's say "the forest is growing where you don't find the single tree anymore." All that happens on purpose and I have to laugh so much. This is the best party I ever was invited to.
This is planting a huge garden of flowers to make it impossible to define any other dominating colour but "overall green". In the film noir episodes the murderer is some house boy or grey nanny or the gardener and I'd bet it will not be much different this time. Some very surprising twisted end is ahead that will make so much sense and we will all ask "why didn't we think of this before".

The strongest motivation for a murder is personal trauma and hurt, especially when it occured by forced humiliation. I would have died too if any police would have forced me to show my privacy. Of course Michael "killed" himself the day he decided to take his sabbatical.
Btw it's remarkable that tabloids are not taking the prelim on page 1 today - I have the feeling they are silent observers for the time being. Maybe they smell a fake now. I was astonished to hear only very few information about the CM prelim from the press.

No, I believe Michael is alive and am pointing out the inconsistencies between the AR, statements made to the police, and current testimony, in an effort to show that this is all an illusion; a hoax; scripted etc etc.
This is especially for those who seem to be losing hope. It is as if this finally enter the court, which would be "a final phase" and people forget everything we have learned about all of this. I had hoped that by showing that so many things are not adding up, that those who are saddened, would realize that nothing has changed, our discoveries remain the same "No Matter What Happens" (~ TS)

Bodyguard: Jackson doc said to put vials in bag

LOS ANGELES—A bodyguard testified Wednesday that the doctor charged in Michael Jackson's death grabbed a handful of vials and ordered him to put them in a bag before telling him to call 911 during frantic efforts to revive the King of Pop.
Alberto Alvarez was the first security guard to reach the bedroom where prosecutors say Dr. Conrad Murray administered a fatal dose of the powerful anesthetic propofol to Jackson on June 25, 2009.
He said he was frozen at the sight of Jackson on the bed with his eyes and mouth open. He said he saw Murray place vials in a plastic bag that he then gave to Alvarez to put in a canvas sack.
"He just grabbed a handful of bottles, or vials, and he instructed me to put them in a bag,"
the tearful Alvarez testified.
Murray also told him to place an intravenous bag into another sack. the bodyguard said.
"Is it true that 911 had not been called yet?" Deputy District Attorney David Walgren asked.
"That's true," Alvarez replied.
The bodyguard said he asked Murray what had happened to Jackson, and the doctor replied, "'He had a reaction, he had a bad reaction.' That's all he said."
At one point Jackson's children Paris and Prince walked into the room.
"Paris screamed, 'Daddy!' and she started to cry," the witness said. "Dr. Murray said, 'Get them out. Don't let them see him like this.'"
Alvarez's voice choked as he described Paris crying and he took a moment to compose himself.
"I said, 'Children, don't worry, we'll take care of this.' And I escorted them out and left the door ajar," Alvarez said.
After collecting everything and bagging it, Alvarez said Murray told him to call 911. The prosecutor then played a recording of the call.
When an operator said to transfer Jackson to the floor, Alvarez said, he grabbed Jackson's legs and Murray grabbed his upper body. He said at that point he noticed an IV in Jackson's leg and it had to be removed. Alvarez also noticed that Jackson had a urinary catheter.
Alvarez said Murray then asked him to give Jackson chest compression while Murray did mouth-to-mouth resuscitation.
"Did it appear he was breathing," Walgren asked.
"No sir," Alvarez said.
"His eyes and mouth were open?" the prosecutor asked.
"Yes," the witness said.
"Did he seem to be alive or dead?" Walgren asked.
"Dead, sir," Alvarez said.
The testimony could provide key corroboration to the prosecutors' argument that Murray's actions demonstrated "an extreme deviation from the standard of care" by administering propofol without the proper equipment, and also concealing it and botching efforts to resuscitate the singer.
Walgren said Tuesday in his opening statement that Murray waited as long as 21 minutes before paramedics were called. Jackson died before help was summoned, the prosecutor said.
Murray was providing Jackson propofol roughly six times a week since being hired as the singer's personal physician in May 2009, Walgren said.
Murray, a Houston cardiologist, has pleaded not guilty, and his attorneys have contended he did not give Jackson anything that should have killed the singer.
At the end of the preliminary hearing, which was expected to go into next week, a judge will rule whether there is enough evidence for Murray to stand trial on an involuntary manslaughter charge in the pop star's death. He could face up to four years in prison if convicted.
The hearing was expected to include testimony from police, coroner's officials and forensic experts who will describe the mix of sedatives found in Jackson's system.
Preliminary hearings have a lower burden of proof than trials, and defense attorneys rarely present a case. Murray's attorney, Ed Chernoff, did not make an opening statement.

I think people mentioned that the size of his penis was mentioned in the AR. I checked (for investigation reasons of course 8-) ) and sorry guys, but those 550 grams were refering to his bladder. I also don't think there are pictures of a dead MJ naked on the floor, simply because there has never been a dead MJ. The reference to his genitals may have been made to link it to the 1993 accusations, but I really think that's it and I think we all should focus on the rest of the info.
On a side note and off-topic: I just downloaded the AR again from the TMZ website and I was checking the drwings of the body and it showed something on the back of the head. I don't recall seeing that before and I am sure I checked it a few times, because I was looking for the Pepsi burn. I don't think it says scar, but I really can't read what is written there. Could someone try to decipher that?

I still don't get why Alvarez did what Murray INSTRUCTED him to do. Did he work for Murray or for M Jackson? Wasn't it his responsibility to ensure the safety of his boss?
And IF Murray goes to trial, shouldn;t the bodyguard also me looked at? He is an accomplice, if he helped him dispose of evidence before calling 911? Isn;t he?

I watched my Grandma pass away from her stroke. She was bed ridden for a long time and she simply just went to sleep and stopped breathing as was expected after so long being inactive. She never turned blue either.

My grandma, great-grandma and grandpa all three died of Cardiac arrest. None of them turned blue, all three turned very pale/grey. As far as I am concerned you turn grey when the heart stops, not blue, but I'm not a doctor.

I have to agree.
If he had no wig or make-up on. He was underweight and wearing pajamas... he had died a time ago meaning his skin was grey and pale, and his hands and feet blue....
I can see why someone would not recognise him.
Also.. when we meet celebrities in real life, they can often look very different to how we would imagine them to be... because normally we only see the airbrushed, posed media image.

In the fake ambulance picture, 80's/90's Michael, has his hair or wig on and that is supposed to be proof that Michael actually needed paramedics to come cause he was either dying, dead (or hoaxing his death). This photo is supposed to prove it all really happened right?

And they aren't forensic investigators, so what was the purpose of taking pics?
The scene wasn't a crime scene and forensic investigators didn't secure the scene until much later on June 25 or the 26th.

Okay - can't believe what I'm reading and seeing. I feel like I've lost 7 pages of script somewhere. Maybe we'll get a rerun in order for me to catch up on this all. LOL
I know there isn't full proof evidence that Michael is alive (no real body) but there isn't full proof evidence that Michael is dead either. So, I'm taking the alive stance. Which means no body in the bed, no body on the floor, no body in the ambulance. No body to take a picture of and no naked body. I agree - this is to take us back to the trials.
What I think is that MJ started the domino's falling and now is standing back to see what direction they will fall. What direction will you fall?
I really don't have anything to add except please, please be strong and don't believe everything you see and hear. I think that's been the first thing we learned in hoax investigator training.

Do you happen to know what Alvarez's response to that question was?
I'm beginning to think that the inconsistencies between the prosecution's witnesses (ie. Michael was on the bed, off the bed, Paris was upstairs, Paris was downstairs, etc) will cause the judge to deem that their isn't enough strong evidence to go forth with a trial. I mean you would think that with all the time the prosecution had to prepare for the this Prelim, they would have been able to present a more accurate timeline and description of the day's events from their witnesses without them continuously contradicting one another.

I was listening to her yesterday for bit when I could and she is an complete insult to MJ and to all he represents. She needs to READ BETWEEN THE LINES and use her common sense, to which I believe she has none - other than she believes the media BS and has gotten sucked into a frame of mind that won't allow her to broaden her thinking. Also, I think yesterday people were talking about her on twitter and how inane she is and that may be a possibility as to why she is banning people. She just cannot accept someone else's opinion.
