Thanks Sophele  ;) A radiohead song !!  :? (Amazing video tho)

I'm a rabbit in your headlights
Scared of the spotlight
You don't come to visit
I'm stuck in this bed

Thin rubber gloves
She laughs when she's crying
She cries when she's laughing

Fat bloody fingers are sucking your soul away...
(Away....away....away....)

I'm a rabbit in your headlights
Christian suburbanite
Washed down the toilet
Money to burn

Fat bloody fingers are sucking your soul away...

Sample from movie Jacob's Ladder :
If you're frightened of dyin' and you're holding on...
You'll see devils tearing your life away.
But...if you've made your peace,
Then the devils are really angels
Freeing you from the earth.....from the earth....from the earth

White worms on the underground
Caught between stations
Butterfingers
I'm losing my patience

I'm a rabbit in your headlights
Christian suburbanite
You got money to burn....

Fat bloody fingers are sucking your soul away.....
Away, away, away,
Away, away, away.

I really don't like the first part !!! If you look at wikipedia, it says :

Many fans of this video have had their own interpretations of what it is trying to portray. Some say the video is a euphemism for suicide. Others believe the tunnel represents life and man's journey through it. Still others believe the man's parka represents his conscience, weighing him down, and when he sheds the parka, he sheds his burden. The video has also been described as a reference to Jesus Christ. Some also say it is a reference to the movie Jacob's Ladder as the song contains a dialogue sample from it.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rabbit_in_Your_Headlights

The title of the song comes from a quote in the 1990 thriller movie Jacob's Ladder.

Jacob's Ladder is a ladder to heaven, described in the Book of Genesis, which the biblical patriarch Jacob envisions during his flight from his brother Esau.

Genesis 28:11-16 (King James Version)

11And he lighted upon a certain place, and tarried there all night, because the sun was set; and he took of the stones of that place, and put them for his pillows, and lay down in that place to sleep.

12And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it.

 13And, behold, the LORD stood above it, and said, I am the LORD God of Abraham thy father, and the God of Isaac: the land whereon thou liest, to thee will I give it, and to thy seed;

14And thy seed shall be as the dust of the earth, and thou shalt spread abroad to the west, and to the east, and to the north, and to the south: and in thee and in thy seed shall all the families of the earth be blessed.

15And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whither thou goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken to thee of.

16And Jacob awaked out of his sleep, and he said, Surely the LORD is in this place; and I knew it not.
http://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Genesis%2028:11-16&version=KJV

Jewish interpretations
According to the Midrash, the ladder signified the exiles which the Jewish people would suffer before the coming of the Messiah
Another interpretation of the ladder keys into the fact that the angels first "ascended" and then "descended."
The ladder therefore signifies the "bridge" between Heaven and earth

Christian interpretation
In the Gospel of John 1:51 there is a clear reference to Jacob's dream (Genesis 28:12) and it points towards Jesus Christ who is called with his title of Son of Man:

"And he said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, you will see heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending on the Son of Man."

The theme of the ladder to heaven is often used by in the Early Church Fathers: Saint Irenaeus in the 2nd century describes the Christian Church as the ladder of ascent to God[1].

In the 3rd century Origen[2] explains that two are the ladders in the Christian life: (1) the ascetic ladder that the soul climbs on the earth increasing the virtues, and (2) the travel that the soul does after the death, climbing the heavens up to the light of God.

In the 4th century Saint Gregory of Nazianzus[3] speaks of ascending Jacob's Ladder by successive steps towards excellence, interpreting thus the ladder as an ascetic path, while Saint Gregory of Nyssa narrates[4] that Moses climbed on Jacob's Ladder to reach the heavens where he entered the tabernacle not made with hands, thus giving to the Ladder a clear mystical meaning. The ascetic interpretation is found also in Saint John Chrysostom who writes:

"And so mounting as it were by steps, let us get to heaven by a Jacob’s ladder. For the ladder seems to me to signify in a riddle by that vision the gradual ascent by means of virtue, by which it is possible for us to ascend from earth to heaven, not using material steps, but improvement and correction of manners."[5]

The account of Jacob's Ladder as an analogy for the spiritual ascetic of life had a large diffusion through the classical work Ladder of Divine Ascent by St. John Climacus.

Furthermore, Jesus can be seen as being the ladder in that he bridges the gap between Heaven and Earth. Jesus presents himself as the reality to which the stairway points; Jacob saw in a dream the reunion of Heaven and Earth and Jesus brought this reunion, metaphorically the ladder, into reality. Adam Clarke, an early 19th century Methodist theologian and Bible scholar, elaborates:

"That by the angels of God ascending and descending, is to be understood, that a perpetual intercourse should now be opened between heaven and earth, through the medium of Christ, who was God manifested in the flesh. Our blessed Lord is represented in his mediatorial capacity as the ambassador of God to men; and the angels ascending and descending upon the Son of Man, is a metaphor taken from the custom of dispatching couriers or messengers from the prince to his ambassador in a foreign court, and from the ambassador back to the prince."
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacob%27s_Ladder

Jacob's Ladder
Summary: The story of Jacob's ladder gives us an example of how Jesus became the mediator between God and man.
And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending upon it. Genesis 28:12
Jacob must have been really tired. I don't think I could fall asleep on stones for a pillow.  What an unusual dream he had!  He saw a ladder so tall that it reached to heaven. The angels of heaven went up and down on the ladder.  God was at the top of the ladder and He promised Jacob he would give him the land he slept on.
Many people try to find their own way to God. Remember the Tower of Babel?  The people thought they could build a way to heaven. These attempts that start on earth all end in failure.  Only God can provide a way to heaven.
God sent Jesus, His only Son, to be our way to Him.  Jesus became Jacob's ladder, the pathway to God.  Jesus said in John 14:6 I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. The only way to heaven is by faith in Jesus. He is the ladder that comes down from heaven to mankind and gives us a path to God.

I have watched the video twice now and find it to be one of the most moving pieces of art I've ever seen! I think a number of parallels with/allusions to MJ can be found. First of all, how incredibly sad is it to think that MJ might have felt this way about how he was treated by the media? His inner strength, however, sustained him through each cruel blow. When he finally decides to throw off his coat (the conventions/expectations of society), he becomes....Invincible. It cannot be pure coincidence that the man in the video assumes the pose of Jesus on the cross/MJ on the This Is It poster. Is MJ telling us that he has "risen above" it all and, therefore, won?

On a side note -- it sounds like the man in the video shouts "Simmer!" multiple times, then...BAM! Creepy, no? This is either Michael, or someone is doing a very clever job of messing with us.....

Praying for the former and awaiting the redirect!

Did anyone notice the tape around Spacey's fingers? What movie is this quote from? And Michael started wearing the tape during the Bad era right?

Edit: Okay I just did some research and the movie is Se7en (that number again) which came out 1995. That eliminates the potential reason I thought he may wore tape around his fingers to reference this movie. However, I did find more of the script that includes that line. It's VERY interesting.

You should all read it: http://www.whysanity.net/monos/seven.html (http://www.whysanity.net/monos/seven.html). It fits perfectly with this.

Considering I posted this definition for L.O.V.E. on 3 different forums (the old MJHD, The old MJKIT and the leflora MJH)  months ago, I don't think it proves that either BOW or MidnightMLK are doing anything but reading some threads.

PS: I also tweeted it many times!

I couldn´t see that, because now is redirecting here again to:

Someone is pretending to be Dr. Murray on Twitter

http://michaeljacksonhoaxforum.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?f=48&t=5565#p87728

So it means Murray is the hanged man.
Someone who is leaded by the circumstances and can do very little...
That´s what happened to Mike with molestation case and media.

This redirection takes exactly where tklein1014 was remarking that the TMZ report was a message...

The TIAI twitter isn't genuine, or is it?
I don't think so - wouldn't suit my logic. It's a different style of links and also bad marketing strategy...
No, I don't think it is.

I asked TS per PM about that twitter account yesterday, but didn't receive an answer, yet. Hope, he will answer this question.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ama-gi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ama-gi)

1st the question from me: does onyone knows if tiai.com and tiai twiiter the same thing? i mean the same person?

ok, so today's link is here

Ama-gi is an ancient Sumerian word (ama-gi4 , also spelled ama-ar-gi4) thought to denote "freedom" or "liberty." It is believed to be the first expression of the concept in writing. Literally translated, it means "return to the mother," inasmuch as former slaves were "returned to their mothers," (i.e., freed).

The Ama-gi cuneiform symbol has been adopted by several liberty-oriented groups. The journal of the Hayek Society at the London School of Economics, the largest libertarian student group in England, is titled Ama-gi. The symbol is used as a logo by the Institucion Politica para la Libertad of Peru, and another version is a trademarked logo of the publishing firm Liberty Fund.

so, no matter if tiai twitter is real or not, it gives useful info whatsoever.

So, this I think this "redirection" aims at showing us not the word itself, but it's etymology.
freedom / liberty didnt even exist as a NOTION untill slavery was introduced. See it's original meaning?

freedom = former slaves were "returned to their mothers," home

So i guess that redirection is trying to say that th right of freedom is REALLY imborn and natural, and such thing as slavery must not exist. This is a VICE

smth natural to us that has no opposite side doesnt even have  a name

think about it

Interesting link indeed

MOVING FROM FEAR TO FREEDOM

"If you haven't thought about your life's goals and purposes, try this simple exercise.

Imagine yourself as a spectator at your own funeral. What would you want people to be saying and thinking about you as they grieve and remember your life? If you life ended right now, what would people say about you? How would you be remembered? Would you have accomplished what you wanted to do? Would you have been the kind of person you wanted to be?

This exercise can help you establish your own definition of "success." It's helpful to write it down. Create your own "mission statement" about the kind of person you want to be. Then you can evaluate whether the way you are living now is helping you work toward success as you define it.

If it isn't, what would you need to do differently in order to be remembered the way you would like to be? And when would you need to begin doing it? Someday? Next year? Or Today?

For some reason, I've always preferred TIAI twitter to the original TIAI... :o :)
(Or maybe it's just because I suck at math! :P )

Here's today's link posted about 2 hours ago: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stolon (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stolon).

Apparently these babies are "horizontal connections between organisms" ('part of the organism or part of it's skeleton') in biological terms...

I fail to see how we can take that in it's literal context though...So 'philosophically', this could be discussing the bonds (both the good & the bad) that connects all of us together?!?

I'm not sure if I especially like the line about these stolons producing "new clones of the same plant from buds at the tip" (hello, what about individual originality :!: & yes, nothing beats 'THE original' too! ;) ). But then again, if it's for a just/good/worthy cause, I suppose that makes sense  8-)  Plus, these "stolons function as means of seeking out light and were used for propagation of the plant" too! :D

However, there was a disturbing bit of description in there as well ("Typically after the formation of the new plant the stolon dies away in a year or two")

God, why must nearly everything have a 'double' side!     :?

Here I am Zisis, were unaware of this link, there are many issues that sometimes I can not read all.
Well as to the stolons, .. not everyone can interpret in their own way, I can say is that this is a puzzle of pieces connected by a stolon. That is a puzzle, riddle, puzzle, riddle, question, puzzle, mystery.

Why almost all they have a "double face"!
You are right.

Yes, Paula, "Blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed" indeed! And Amen to that as well  :)

"This drama of disbelief seems to have touched Caravaggio personally. Few of his paintings are physically so shocking - his Thomas pushes curiosity to its limits before he will say, "My Lord and my God". The classical composition carefully unites the four heads in the quest for truth. Christ's head is largely in shadow, as He is the person who is the least knowable."

Hmmm...Quite a few interesting themes...So, "Thomas missed one of Christ's appearances to the Apostles after His resurrection", eh?...I wonder who our four heads are/what they represent...But mostly I'm just plain curious about when we (or those of us who need it most) will get our chance to put our finger to his side  :P  :D

Matthew 24: 36-44
In this reading of the first Sunday of Advent season remember us the promise of our Lord Jesus, who in the days of his Ministry spoke of his return, when met his word to us where it this. (John 14: 3)

His words we arrive to remind us that today, after many centuries, the promise is still standing and the time of his coming, is near, as close as the first day when his Apostles and disciples left the voice of the one whose message was heard

Our about anything and everything seems to indicate that this time some. Nothing because since the beginning of the days men of dedicated to his affairs until today and until the same day of the Lord shall be so ("well as well as in those days before the flood were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until Noah became the Ark") (Matthew 24: 38). And all because looking at our environment we are aware that something is wrong and the end of injustice, evil and the impiety approaches.
Illustration of what happened at the time of Noe we must remember that the appearance of things can we trust perhaps too to lead us into a kind of dangerous for the soul sleep. ("Velad, because you do not know the day or the time at which the son of man has come"., and therefore you Stat also preparations; because the son of man will come when they not think.) " Matthew 24:44. So you also must be ready, because the Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect him."

I, for one, am very glad[/b] that it was the New International Version & this particular manuscript[/b] that was chosen here. Because, frankly, I'm so sick of the trend (amongst an alarming number of us both 'BeLIEver & non-believer' fans), of attributing & the interchangeability of MJ with God/Jesus/Royalist Egyptian reincarnation/VIP Angel/Superman etc (very disturbing & distressing indeed!)!!! Don't get me wrong; I'm not a religious person (although, I admit, I have more than a passing interest in ALL religions & their literature), but I'm still spiritual enough to be HORRIFIED by these 'allegorisations'. Call me basic over this one if you must :P , but the MAIN reason I find MJ such an inspiration is because he was & is very REFRESHINGLY human! Different & exceptional, YES, but still recognisably belonging under the greater classification & genus of Homo Sapiens nonetheless. SO PLEASE FOLKS, STOP THE DEIFICATION, MYTHIFICATION & APOLOGISATION & LET'S JUST FOCUS ON CELEBRATING AN EXTRAORDINARY MAN INSTEAD!

Thank you, TIAI twitter, for today's "most illuminating" link ;) I found it very heartening & I truly hope it would help to clear & clarify certain 'notions' among us. And do keep spreading the good cheer :)

This part still makes me think. Many times,  I've wondered whether MJ is undergoing some sort of transformation, physically, and mentally.  Maybe a new look, a new persona.  That would then make the death of the previous MJ, not really a lie.  He will come back and only the real fans will know it's him.  Others will doubt, and will request a DNA test.  Am I making sense at all. Hmmm...Today it's:

[youtube:khmrwb9t]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BWdLt3Afjrg[/youtube:khmrwb9t]

UNDER PRESSURE - QUEEN

Pressure pushing down on me
Pressing down on you no man ask for
Under pressure - that burns a building
down
Splits a family in two
Puts people on streets
It's the terror of knowing
What this world is about
Watching some good friends
Screaming let me out
Pray tomorrow - gets me higher
Pressure on people - people on streets
She been around
Kicked my brains round the floor
These are the days it rains but it never pours
People on streets
People on streets
It's the terror of knowing
What this world is about
Watching some good friends
Screaming let me out
Pray tomorrow - high higher
Turned away from it all like a blind man
Sat on a fence but it don't work
Keep coming up with love but it's so slashed
and torn
Why - Ooooh
Insanity laughs under pressure we're
cracking
Can't we give ourselves one more chance
Why can't we give love that one more
chance
Why can't we give love
Give love give love give love give love
Give love give love give love
Love's such an old fashioned word
And love dares you to care for
The people on the edge of the night
And love dares you to change our way of
Caring about ourselves

This is our last dance
This is our last dance
This is ourselves
Under pressure
Under pressure
Pressure

Twitter TIAI does it again; capture the mood of the moment! :) Personally, (me being the incurable romantic/idealist/optimist that I am  ), I truly believe life is full of second chances ALL the way for ALL of us. I got the letter on that song, is somewhat melancholy

one of the two always wants a little more. . One of the two, always look back. ... Do one of the two, you feel heavy as lead and Andre...?  One of the two has a stone in the shoe. One of the two who does not dare to both. Do the two to one ' s not try, and the other...?  And the other...?  Andre, I cannot help it. . For him, opened all doors.  The Andre hangs from anyone, as I in Governor Andre... No I can avoid it.  One of two, meditates too.  One of the two does not have any straight objective.  Does one of two lead a charge with him and Andre...?. One of the two that has a very thin layer. One of the two is frozen so quickly.  One of the two that has not been anything in the glass and the other...? And the other...? Andre, I cannot help it.  For him, opened all doors.  The Andre hangs from anyone, like myself in Governor Andre.... I cannot help it. Andre, I cannot help it.  For him, opened all doors. . The Andre hangs from anyone, as I in Governor Andre... No I can avoid it. . The Andre hangs from anyone, as I in Governor Andre... No I can avoid it

The translation is a bit crazy ...

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjkJDu0B-1U (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QjkJDu0B-1U)

I need a sign to let me know you’re here
All of these lines are being crossed over the atmosphere
I need to know that things are gonna look up
Cause I feel us drowning in a sea spilled from a cup
When there is no place safe
And no safe place to put my head
When you can feel the world
Shake from the words that I said

And I’m calling all angels
And I’m calling all you angels

And I won’t give up if you don’t give up
I won’t give up if you don’t give up
I won’t give up if you don’t give up
I won’t give up if you don’t give up

I need a sign to let me know you’re here
Cause my tv set just keeps it all from being clear
I want a reason for the way things have to be
I need a hand to help build up
Some kind of hope inside of me

And I’m calling all angels
And I’m calling all you angels

When children have to play inside so they don’t disappear
While private eyes solve marriage lies
Cause we dont talk for years
And football teams are kissing queens and losing sight
Of having dreams
In a world where all we want is only what we
Want untill it’s ours

And I’m calling all angels
And I’m calling all you angels
And I’m calling all angels
(I won’t give up if you don’t give up)
And I’m calling all you angels
(I won’t give up if you don’t give up)
Calling all you angels
(I won’t give up if you don’t give up)
Calling all you angels
(I won’t give up if you don’t give up)
Calling all you angels

Look, the real Michael Jackson touched my heart in a way that I did not explain whether he is alive or dead I really do not know, (my heart and everything that has been investigated in this forum tell me that is alive), anyway I have to say that this is a beautiful song, I do not think I'm an angel, and I will not give up, and I will have to be there :)

Paula, I don't care if you are an angel or not, but I think you are pretty special! Your posts are always so honest, upbeat & touch me all the time. So, thank you for them :)

Personally, I find the human kind WAAAAAAAAAAAY more fascinating than our 'angelic' counterparts anyways :P

And I'm still VERY human enough to wish those "signs" keep coming in too!  ;)    :D

Most of the word games require thought acuity and is therefore believed that developing such activities helps to maintain a more active mind since the game will develop increasingly these qualities.

This is a bad joke to play on words,  Waiter, the fish comes only?  -No, is it bring I

Well, learn the play on words ..

Oh yes, no arguments there: my brain has really been on overdrive the past months, in more ways than one!

But my sense of humour isn't that 'accommodating' enough to tolerate a HUMONGOUS bad joke either, So here's hoping ALL this this doesn't turn out that way eventually (just a friendly warning to whoever is behind 'this')!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feeding_frenzy (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feeding_frenzy)

The word frenzy is very pliable; its meaning depends largely on the context used in... Although that it is always linked to certain exaltation, agitation, enthusiasm, passion and even instincts of madness, delirium, etc.

It is in converted piranhas as the media people, the execeisva and vicious media coverage, which goes out to destroy the life of a person, a premeditated way. Necessary therapeutic treatment for people :geek:
Title: Re: thisisalsoit on twitter posted link

Interesting examples used to describe "feeding frenzy" in a metaphorical sense on that page too..."O. J. Simpson trial in the U.S", "shoppers frantically looking for bargains during a sale", "lovers biting one another in their excitement"...All of which can (be modified to) apply to our present 'situation' here...Oh yes, "Sabato's Crystal Ball" is also piquing too.

Now, if I can make up my mind about how much of this is meant in a more rhetorical manner directed at 'others' (the media & 'opportunistic predators' etc) & how much of it is mere philosophical reflection, I would be a happy customer...Don't think I like the 'connotations' too much either ways...

Oh well, I suppose that's the way the cookie crumbles with 'anonymous ambiguity'; there is always more than one way of looking at it  :P  ;)  :D

I found this on wikipedia, and find this meaning to be more appropriate to the snowglobe;

'In Libba Bray's book, Going Bovine , snowglobes are used periodically as metaphors for the constraints of reality and life as we know it. At the end of the book, the main characters smash them, claiming that they are "freeing the snowglobes". '
Title: Re: thisisalsoit on twitter posted link

...this also found on Wiki, may be even more appropriate to the snowglobe reference;

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citizen_Kane (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Citizen_Kane)
 Plot
Charles Foster Kane (Orson Welles), the enormously wealthy media proprietor, has lost his power and been abandoned by his loved ones, and has been living alone in his vast palatial estate Xanadu for the last years of his life, with a "No trespassing" sign on the gate. He dies in a bed while holding a snow globe, and utters "Rosebud..."; the globe smashes.

Kane's death then becomes sensational news around the world. Newsreel reporter Jerry Thompson (William Alland) tries to find out about Kane's private life and, in particular, to discover the meaning behind his last word. The reporter interviews the great man's friends and associates, and Kane's story unfolds as a series of flashbacks.

Edit to add...Wow, after reading this entire wiki page on citizen kane, I am sure this is what the globe is referencing!!!  I also just googled Michael Jackson and Citizen Kane and tons of pages referencing the similarities are to be found!!!

All his views were well respected and very valid, in my opinion is a metaphorical sense;
Snow is metaphor of silence and tranquility... when the snowflakes fall there is a total and absolute silence. :?:

i've seen "Citizen Kane" so many times. now that you've mentioned it, there are a ton of similarities. also, "Citizen Kane" has been viewed by critics for many, many years as one of-if not THE- most significant and important films in history (due to editing, camera placement, etc). the plot alone is intriguing- the entire movie is about unveiling the mystery of who kane was. in the end, you see the symbolism that you wouldn't have known before. (much like we are discovering the truths of michael we haven't seen before) we all know michael loved his classic movies. it makes sense that this would tie into everything. thanks for the correlation!! i hope this is what they are alluding to...

mjfansince4 his theory is very logical, look at this comparison I got

Citizen Kane built a huge mega mansion / castle modeled on "Xanadu", from Coleridge's poem Kubla Khan.  Michael Jackson built a huge mega mansion / castle modeled on "Neverland" from JM Barrie's Peter Pan.
Citizen Kane has his own private zoo in Xanadu, including ... wait for it .... Chimpanzees! Citizen Kane has a private zoo in Xanadu, for example ... wait .... CHIMPANZEES!

Citizen Kane was living in his mansion, largely isolated from the outside world. And surprise surprise, so did Michael Jackson.  Citizen Kane's death was met with massive newsreels, bulletins screaming it all over the world in all different languages (as per the opening sequence).

After Kane's death, his accumulated material possessions are sold, auctioned or burnt. And what about all the things that Michael Jackson again?

If you write "Charles Foster Kane 'using only the letters found in' Michael Jackson ', is an anagram of Michael Jackson.

The evidence speaks for itself. Orson Welles was truly ahead of its time, with a film that deconstructs the life of a man not yet born. . Of course, this opens the film to many new interpretations. Are we to understand that singing career failed Kane's mistress, Susan Alexander is a symbol of the breakdown of the Jackson Five Jackson originals? Or perhaps infer that constant overspending Michael Jackson, only to find a deeper spiritual fulfillment?  ;)

very good analysis! another parallel? Orson Welles was behind the camera directing and also starred in the movie as Kane. Hmm....Who was behind the camera for a movie and also starred as the leading man? Oh! That's right, Michael!!! "Citizen Kane" innovated film and set the standard for films today...who's to say TII isn't another innovation??

@lotus_sutra- you must see "Citizen Kane." It's really good. Even if classics aren't your thing, the movie is just fascinating.

Well guys, you assertion is Citizen Kane, and the meaning of Rosebud, .. Rosebud, that sled that sighs Kane in one of the best early I remember a film. Rosebud, lost childhood, unreachable happiness, how easy, the pure... Rosebud, repentance achieved adulthood to the important values that you can enjoy child. ;)

Hmmm...I suppose, this is more reinforcement about yesterday's snow globe in relation to Citizen Kane; sort of like, driving it home for those of us who failed to see the point on our first attempt & without help... ;)

[youtube:3qdw0j9r]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LZOzk7T93wE[/youtube:3qdw0j9r]

Yes, the similarities are most intriguing, but since I haven't seen it myself, please tell me more about it, especially how the movie ends...

I found this concluding passage in the at the wiki page plot summary (the highlights are my own as usual):

" Thompson is unable to solve the mystery and concludes that "Rosebud" will forever remain an enigma. He theorizes that "Mr. Kane was a man who got everything he wanted, and then lost it: Maybe Rosebud was something he couldn't get, or something he lost." In the ending of the film, it is revealed to the audience that Rosebud was the name of the sled from Kane's childhood, from the time before he was taken from his parents and gained his wealth - an allusion to the only time in his life when he was really happy. The sled, thought to be junk, is destroyed by Xanadu's departing staff in a basement furnace. The film ends as it began, with a view of the "No Trespassing" sign posted on the fence of Xanadu indicating how little we actually know about people."

Ok, now for just a few random thoughts (my specialty :P )...First, I take people's word (the expert & fan reviews, I mean) for it when they say this was a "brilliant" movie. But it all sounds so terribly sad to me. I mean, this man who had had 'apparently' everything an average person longs for (I mean, on the 'materialistic' front, of course) spent an entire lifetime yearning for something that many of us take for granted; the security of a "normal" childhood (as I believe "Rosebud" is more the symbolic aspect rather than the actual sled itself). So much so, that his last thoughts were of the 'elusive utopia' that he desperately sought (perhaps his accumulation of wealth kept him busy & driven that he could temporarily escape from his fixation with the past: perhaps he believed that his wealth would assist him in finding what he lost in the past; maybe a bit of both) & failed to achieve. I wonder just how much of his "todays" he had been able to enjoy & how much he missed out on them because of his obsession with his "yesterdays". So, in that respect, the act of of the snow globe being broken signifies his ultimate respite from his own 'demons'; being finally free...Awwwwwww

Human nature is so complex & multi-faceted that we always know far less about the other person (& sometimes even our own selves too) than what we imagine we do. There always is another surprise, another revelation, no matter how much we think we've got the other person 'figured out'. It's heart breaking that we are so busy with our lives that we are so ready to take everything at face value; so that it doesn't add to our own burdens & worries. But I don't think most people do it out of cruel, mean or unkind intents & spirits. For most of us, it's just an ingrained, unconscious habit. Thoughtless, yes, even inconsiderate yes, but not always evil. We all just happen to have our own demons to wrestle with & cherish, look forward to new 'avenues'/possibilities' for our own "escapades" too. I guess it wouldn't hurt us too much to try & be a little less selfish & self-absorbed. Our own personal universes may revolve around ourselves, but it courtesy of those 'others' around us that it keeps revolving at all. We should make time for celebrating the our differences, instead of merely focusing on & reveling in on our similarities (which does give us the sense of 'closure' that we all seek). Because those differences expand our mind, alter our thought processes & give room for change :)

MJ always spoke of his yearning for an average childhood that he was cheated of. And he made no secret of the fact that the reason he was driven to try so hard with everything that he did was because he simply just wanted to receive more love. Because he missed out on it growing up, when he most needed it. Yes, we were pretty enthusiastic with our "ooooohs & aaaaaaahs", but maybe he needed something more, something in addition, something different. How much of his true self did/does he want to share with us & how much of his life did/does he wish to keep private? We never really did know the man we claim to love so, did we? :( It took "the news" of 25 June 2009 for us to explore & to understand his true depths & potential...

I wish I knew what the significance of the snow globe breaking really means here...What does the "no trespassing" sign (shown both at the beginning & at the end) of the movie signify?...Just how long will the what really happened on 25.06.09 remain a mystery?...Is MJ going to remain (more or less) the enigma that he has always been?!?...Is the 'This Is It' movie meant to be his last, physical goodbye; the final curtain call?...What is our part & purpose in ALL THIS; how do we fit/figure into the "BIG picture" (as "BeLIEvers"/Messengers/"Soldiers"/"Moaners"/Seers/Investigators/Jurists/"Audience"/Applauders/Advocates for Truth&Change???)... :?:  :!:  :?:

"Rosebud", that Word apparently meaningless, is transformed into a crystal ball and enclosing representation, with the children's House, with snow and the slopes of the mountain with the sledge that burns to conclude the representation, by way of further narrated and reconstructed testimony...

This word means a lot: is rescued posthumous Word memory well. It is, the display of paradise lost.

http://lapax.wordpress.com/2006/03/02/l ... ates-life/ (http://lapax.wordpress.com/2006/03/02/life-imitates-art-imitates-life/)

Oscar Wilde criticizing realism vain intent only represent reality; that he had no merit and, in addition, with the passage of time would be credible and intelligible... For the great Irish author, the goal of art must be lies, is to show the beauty of false things (invented, fiction, ideal). Wilde defends the lie in art: beauty can only be represented lying and misrepresented the reality. There is no art without lie; is lying and poetry are arts... Even more radical, argues that in the long term life and nature imitate art and not the reverse, as it has been traditionally understood: "Look one thing is to see it." Do not see anything until it is not something your beauty. Then and only then the thing starts to exist. Now people see fog does not by itself, but because the poets and painters have shown the mysterious beauty of its effects. There probably has been fog for centuries in London... But none saw it so far, nor knew almost nothing of her "..." With these premises Oscar Wilde raised issues of great interest, for example the pre-eminence of the interpretation of the fact in itself, an interpretation of reality according to codes established, learned, including matters relating to quantum mechanics and the conditions for observation of phenomena. The reality is not necessarily as believe it to see, but which we interpret it or how represent it... - by acquiring full sense of artistic insights, an artistic, canon on purely naturalistic considerations need Wilde claim

His utopia was a not materialistic artistic society by joy, pleasure, artistic imagination and invention, with time for reflection and the own expression values that uncontrollable reveal what still nature, life, art, they have not shown the car will... artistic expression momentum carried individual creativity and critical thinking...

Belated highlights (for me) triggered from yesterday [ Sorry about being a tortoise here! :) ]...

Quote
life imitates art imitates life

Oscar Wilde once said Life imitates art far more than art imitates Life. I beg to differ. I think it’s more of a vicious circle (or a glorious circle, depending on how you look at it.) It’s an equal-opportunity borrowing situation. Life imitates art. Simultaneously art imitates life. Each feeds into the other, each repetition coming up with more complexity in the process.

Ya da, ya da, ya da....... [ quite 'strategic' examples from "movie" themes, of course, though! ;) ]

Quote
This doesn’t just apply to movies though. It applies to all kinds of art. You just have to sit down and think through the art pieces you really like, read up on the history of that art or the biography of the artist. Eventually, I’m sure, you’ll find a link to something in real life that the art was inspired by. And eventually, you’ll find a link to something in real life that the art inspired. And so it goes.

Thank you, TIAI twitter; I believe this helps to address my 'wanderings' from the previous night to some extent 8-) Or at least, I don't feel quite as 'lost' anymore :D

Since I'm feeling quite 'breezy' today, thought I'd just let "OUR MAN" do ALL the talking here, for a change ;) So, in no order of preference or relevance:

Quote
"The meaning of life is contained in every single expression of life. It is present in the infinity of forms and phenomena that exist in all of creation."
[ Awww, ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!!! ]

"And my goal in life is to give to the world what I was lucky to receive: the ecstasy of divine union through my music and my dance."

"I love E. T. 'cos it reminds me of me. Someone from another world coming down and you becoming friends with them and this person is, like, 800 years old and he's filling you with all kinds of wisdom and he can teach you to fly. That whole fantasy thing which I think is great. I mean, who don't wanna fly?"
- Interview in Smash Hits, January 20, 1983

“Smooth, but not a criminal.”
[ TOTALLY  8-) I LIKE   ]

"I’m a visionary and a creative person. God blessed me with certain talents. I hate to use an analogy, but Walt Disney was creative but not good with business. His brother Roy handled the books. He loved creating family-oriented entertainment and so do I. I feel that was a gift and I have that gift also. I’m very honored to have been chosen."

"I don't read all the negative things they write about me such as I am weird and different. When you grow up in front of millions of people like I was since the age of 5, you can't help but be different."

"I'm just like anyone. I cut and I bleed. And I embarrass easily."

[ God, I LOVE his inimitable brand of refreshing "human-ness"!!! ]

"Before you judge me, ask me about my childhood and then I'll ask you about yours..."
[ Yes, think about the person staring back at you in the mirror! ]

"People write negatives things, cause they feel that's what sells. Good news to them, doesn't sell."

"Just because it's in print doesn't mean it's the gospel."

"You know, let's put it this way, if all the people in Hollywood who have had plastic surgery, if they went on vacation, there wouldn't be a person left in town."

[ Sorry if some of you object to this one, but I still love it, So it just had to be here! :D ]

"I'm trying to imitate Jesus in the fact that he said to be like children, to love children, to be as pure as children and to make yourself as innocent and to see the world through eyes of wonderment and the whole magical quality of it all."
- Oprah Winfrey interview 1993.

"Children show me in their playful smiles the divine in everyone. This simple goodness shines straight from their hearts and only asks to be lived."
[ Agree, a 111%! :D ]

“I changed. People change.”
[ Yes, we most definitely do, in so many different, infinitesimal, indescribable & uncountable ways! :) ]

"My goal in life is to give to the world what I was lucky to receive: the ecstasy of divine union through my music and my dance."

"Because I wanted to have a place that I could create everything that I that I never had as a child. So, you see rides. You see animals. There's a movie theater."

- Describing Neverland Ranch in California, CBS interview 2003.

"The greatest education in the world is watching the masters at work."

“I used to dream
I used to glance beyond the stars
Now I don't know where we are
although I know we've drifted far
What about yesterday
What about the seas
The heavens are falling down
I can't even breathe
What about the bleeding Earth
Can't we feel its wounds
What about nature's worth?
It's our planet's womb.”

[ A subject dearest to my own heart too...]

"I wake up from dreams and go “Wow, put this down on paper.” The whole thing is strange. You hear the words, everything is right there in front of your face."

"Lies run sprints, but the truth runs marathons.""

"Just beat it, beat it, beat it, beat it,
No-one wants to be defeated,
Showin' how funky and strong is your fight,
It doesn't matter who's wrong or right."

- Beat It, from album Thriller.

"You wanna show them that you're really not scared,
You're playing with your life, this ain't no truth or dare,
They'll kick you then they'll beat you then they'll tell you it's fair,
So beat it."

- Beat It, from album Thriller.

"Well they say the sky's the limit
And to me that's really true
But my friend you have seen nothing
Just wait 'til I get through…
Because I'm bad, I'm bad."

- Bad, from the album Bad

“I was a veteran, before I was a teenager.”
[ I suppose that constitutes both the good & the not-so-good therein...]

"Our parents taught us to always be respectful and, no matter what you do, to give it everything you have. Be the best, not the second best."
- USA Today interview 2001.

“There's a Mother's Day and there's a Father's Day, but there's no Children's Day. It would mean a lot. World peace.”

"I'm happy to be alive, I'm happy to be who I am."
[ Yes, do let's celebrate our "presents" & "todays" more! :) ]

"And the dream we were conceived in will reveal a joyful face... and the world we once believed in will shine again in grace. Then why do we keep strangling life wound this Earth, crucify its soul. Though it's plain to see, this world is heavenly. We could be God's glow... Heal the world."

[ Another AWWWWWWW...ALL THE WAY! ]

"People think they know me, but they don't. Not really. Actually, I am one of the loneliest people on this earth. I cry sometimes, because it hurts. It does. To be honest, I guess you could say that it hurts to be me."
[ :(    :( ]

"I'll always be Peter Pan in my heart."
[ I do solemnly swear that I'll NEVER, EVER "grow up" enough to stop believing in life's magic myself :) ]

"I'm never pleased with anything, I'm a perfectionist, it's part of who I am."
- Oprah Winfrey interview 1993.
[ I guess we can all relate to that in our own ways...especially those of us who go all OCD over certain passionate subjects & 'overlook' the rest in the process  ]

"Stars Don't Die

"They say that some of the stars that you see overhead aren’t really there.
Their light takes millions of years to reach us, and all we are doing is looking into the past, into a bygone moment when those stars could still shine.
"So what does a star do after it quits shining?" I ask myself. "Maybe it dies."
"Oh, no," a voice in my head says. "A star can never die. It just turns into a smile...."

- Poem on the heal the world organization website
[ So very touching & true ]

“I believe in my heart that the music community will come together as one and rally to the aid of thousands of innocent victims, ... There is a tremendous need for relief dollars right now and through this effort each one of us can play an immediate role in helping comfort so many people.”

“The Earth we share is not just a rock tossed through space, but a living, nurturing being. She cares for us, she deserves our care in return.”
[ Most vehemently, emphatically agree!!! ]

"I am committed to my art. I believe that all art has as its ultimate goal the union between the material and the spiritual, the human and the divine. I believe that to be the reason for the very existence of art."
- 1993

"I wouldn't say I was sexy! But I guess that's fine if that's what they say. I like that in concert. That's neat."
- 1983
[ ;)    :D ]

"But if you don't have that memory of being loved, you are condemned to search the world for something to fill you up. But no matter how much money you make or how famous you become, you will still feel empty. What you are really searching for is unconditional love, unqualified acceptance. And that was the one thing that was denied to you at birth."
- 2001
[ ]

"If I am guilty of anything it is of believing what God said about children: 'Suffer little children to come unto me and forbid them not, for such is the Kingdom of Heaven.' In no way do I think that I am God, but I try to be God-like in my heart."

- 1993
[ Thank you, I hope more of us grow to accept, understand & embrace that last sentence! ]

"I do disguises for different reasons. I like to study people - be like the fly on the wall. Even if it's two old ladies sitting on a bench or some kids on a swing. Because I don't know what it's like to fit in an everyday life situation."
- 1999
[ MOST 'ENIGMATIC' & INTRIGUING! :P  ;)  :D ]

"I happen to be colorblind. I don't hire color, I hire competence! ... Racism is not my motto. One day, I strongly expect every color to love as one family."
- 1984
[ Say YAY to colour-blindness!!! :D ]

"I love the fans and they are the reason for my professional existence. When I'm out there doing a show and I see the fans dancing and singing, that's what I love the most. It's just the greatest feeling in the world."
- 1988

"Sometimes when you're treated unfairly it makes you stronger and more determined. I admire that kind of strength. People who have it take a stand and put their blood and soul into what they believe."

"This album is dedicated to Benjamin "Benny" Hermansen. May we continue to remember not to judge man by the color of his skin, but the content of his character. Benjamin... We love you... May you rest in peace."

- Invincible Album Dedication, 2001

"People laugh when they're feeling sad - Someone is taking a life, hold on - Respect to believe in your dreams - Tell me where were you when your children cried last night?"

- Cry, Invincible, 2001

"I have been the artist with the longest career, and I am so proud and honored to be chosen from heaven to be invincible."
- 2001
[ "INVINCIBLE" indeed is our man; in more ways than one! :D :D  :D ]

"Now you can't stop me even though you think that if you block me, you've done your thing - And when you bury me underneath all your pain, I'm steady laughin', while surfacing!"
- Unbreakable, 2001

"So you have to deal with this jealousy. They think they're hurting you. Nothing could hurt me. The bigger the star, the larger the target. At least they're talking. When they stop talking, you have to worry."
- 2001
[ So, 'no news' isn't exactly 'good news' all the time?!? ;)  :P   ]

"I don't know what I could do besides sing but I'm not worried because I figure I've got the rest of my life to find out!"
- 1971

"Once I started breaking sales records, I broke Elvis Presley's record, I broke the Beatles' record - once I started doing that, overnight they called me a freak, a homosexual, a child molester... They said I bleached my skin. They did everything they could to turn the public against me. It's a conspiracy."
- 2002
[ How can so many choose to be selectively blind to the obvious sometimes!!!  :? :(   ]

"So I'm leaving Sony, a free agent, owning half of Sony. I own half of Sony's Publishing. I'm leaving them, and they're very angry at me, because I just did good business, you know."
- 2002
[ That's our MJ; sharp, shrewd & 'bright as a button' ALWAYS! :D ]

"Yes, magic, as in abracadabra!"
- Nov. 14, 2002 - During Lawsuit
[ Dig it, Like it, LOVE it!!! :D   :D ]

"We are Germans. We are Armenians. French, Italian, Russian, American, Asian, African... many other nationalities. We are Christians, Jewish, Muslim and Hindu. We are black, we are white. We are a community of some many differences, so complex and yet so simple. We do not need to have war!"
- Nov. 21, 2002
[WELL SAID!!! Here's hoping more of us come to realise that too...]

"Always appreciate the gift of life! Be happy and have fun!"
- Nov. 21, 2002
[ Simply because life is the BEST gift of all & because "the present" is our most tangible "reality" :) ]

"Today I feel more betrayed than perhaps ever before, that someone who had got to know my children, my staff and me, whom I let into my heart and told the truth, could then sacrifice the trust I placed in him and produce this terrible and unfair program."
- Comment on the Martin Bashir documentation, Feb 06, 2003
[ Bashir, GRRRRRRR !@#&*()(*&^%$@#$^&$#($* :!:        :!: ]

"I believe in doing better work. Just like the old saying, 'You don't get older, you get better.' "

When Michael was asked in 1992 about how he would like his funeral to go, he said: “It’s going to be the greatest show on earth. That’s what I want. Fireworks and everything.”
[ Yes, MJ, do PLEASE give us a "spectacular opening with pyrotechnics, and some sizzles and some cracks and some pops" & the LOUDEST BAM EVER of the BEST that we were promised & await! :D   8-) :D  :o    :D      :D ]

Will.i.am  of The Black Eyed Peas (after working with Jackson on a 25th anniversary reissue of Thriller) said “[Michael] said, You know, I just wanna make unprecedented music! I just wanna shock ‘em! Wanna go for the jugular! Aim for the throat! Unprecedented rhythms! International number ones!”.
[ Again, don't take my head off for this one here; not everyone interprets this so negatively & maybe some of us have a ??? ah...'broader'/'weirder' sense of humour too! ;) ]

"We are the world
We are the children
We are the ones who make a brighter day
So let’s start giving"

- We Are the World

"If You’re thinkin’ of
Being my brother
It don’t matter if you’re"

- Black or white

"I’m starting with the man in the mirror
I’m asking him to change his ways
And no message could have been any clearer
If you wanna make the world a better place
(If you wanna make the world a better place)
Take a look at yourself, and then make a change"

- Man in the Mirror

"Wanna be startin' somethin'?"
[ So, very catchy, peppy GOOD, all rolled into one: just had to be here again! :D ]

“I have spent my entire life helping millions of children. I would never harm a child. It is unfortunate that some individuals have seen fit to come forward and make a complaint that is completely false.Years after, I settled with certain individuals because I was concerned about my family and the media scrutiny that would have ensued if I fought the matter in court. These people wanted to exploit my concern for children by threatening to destroy what I believe in and what I do. I have been a vulnerable target for these who want money.”
[ NOT FAIR!!! :(        :( ]

“What I enjoy most about performing is making people happy. Just to make a person smile means more to me then anything.”
[ You make us smile & then some as well... ;)    :P     :D ]

“What one wishes is to be touched by the truth and to be able to interpret that truth so that one may use what one may use what one is feeling and experiencing, be it despair or joy, in a way that will add meaning to one’s life and will hopefully touch others as well. This is art in its highest form. Those moments of enlightenment are what I continue to live for.”
[ Yes, YES & YESSSSSSSSSSS all the way :D    :D ]

“I wish I was a camera sometimes so I could take a picture with my mind put it in a frame for you to see how beautiful you really are to me.”
[ We would gladly return the favour...ON THE DOUBLE!!! ;)  :D  :P    8-)     ]

“Who wants mortality? Everybody wants immortality. You want what you create to live, be it sculpting, painting, music composition. That is the way I escape death I attempt to bind my soul to my work. I give my all to my work because I want it to just live and give all that I have.”
[ You have, you are & will continue to do so too :!:  :!:  :!: ]

“You try be as original as you can be without thinking about statistics, just you go from the soul and from the heart.”
[ A HEARTFELT THANK YOU from ALL those of us errr...'not-so-talented' in the 'statistical department'! :P  :)  ;)    :D ]

“I just want to say to fans in every corner of the earth, every nationality, every race, every language: I love you from the bottom of my heart. I would love your prayers and your goodwill, and please be patient and be with me and believe in me because I am completely, completely innocent. But please know a lot of conspiracy is going on as we speak.”
[ Believe us, WE LOVE YOU MORE & MOSTEST!!! ]

“We can fly, you know. We just don’t know how to think the right thoughts and levitate ourselves off the ground.”
[ Teach us, guide us, show us, help us; come fly with us, our beloved Peter Pan...]

“You can always dream, and your dreams will come true, but you have to make them come true.”

“I believe in wishes and in a person’s ability to make a wish come true, I really do. And a wish is more than a wish. . .it’s a goal that your conscience and subconscience can help make reality.”
[ What a coincidence; I've always believed that if I REALLY, TRULY wish VERY, VERY hard for something, then that wish is bound to come true too...If it doesn't, its only because I didn't want it bad enough to begin with :) ]

“In the end, the most important thing is to be true to yourself and those you love and work hard. Work like there’s no tomorrow. Train. Strive. Really train and cultivate your talent to the highest degree. Be the best at what you do. Get to know more about your field than anybody alive. Use the tools of your trade, if it’s books or a floor to dance on or a body of water to swim in. Whatever it is, it’s yours. That’s what I’ve always tried to remember.”
[ Sorry to mention an "another's name" here [forgive me for my 'sacrilege' :P ], but have a listen to Ziggy Marley's "True To Myself" & "Love Is My Religion"; And don't chew my head off for saying that those are two of my favourite & most inspirational songs too! :)  :)  :) ]

And let's not forget to mention good old "SHAMON(E)" here as well (don't they say the 'little things' count too! :P )!!! :D    :D Have a peek here for some 'serious' improvement of your MJ lingo & vocabulary; ENJOY!!! :D    ;)  :)  :P  :D :

JUST A FEW EXCERPTS FROM "MOONWALK"

"I've always wanted to be able to tell stories, you know, stories that came from my soul. I'd like to sit by a
fire and tell people stories - make them see pictures, make them cry and laugh, take them anywhere
emotionally with something as deceptively simple as words. I'd like to tell tales to move their souls and
transform them. I've always wanted to be able to do that. Imagine how the great writers must feel, knowing they have that power. I sometimes feel I could do it. It's something I'd like to develop. In a way, songwriting uses the same skills, creates the emotional highs and lows, but the story is a sketch. It's quicksilver. There are very few books written on the art of storytelling, how to grip listeners, how to get a group of people together and amuse them. No costumes, no makeup, no nothing, just you and your voice, and your powerful ability to take them anywhere, to transform their lives, if only for minutes."

"Albums should be for all races, all tastes in music. In the end, many songs kind of create themselves. You just say, “This is it. This is how it's going to be."

"I believe performers should try to be strong as an example to their audiences. It's staggering what a
person can do if they only try. If you're under pressure, play off that pressure and use it to advantage and
make whatever you're doing better. Performers owe it to people to be strong and fair. Often in the past performers have been tragic figures. A lot of the truly great people have suffered or died because of pressure and drugs, especially liquor. It's so sad. You feel cheated as a fan that you didn't get to watch them evolve as they grew older."

"It always surprises me when people assume that something an artist has created is based on a true experience or reflects his or her own lifestyle. Often nothing could be farther from the truth. I know I draw on my own experiences at times, but I also hear and read things that trigger an idea for a song. An artist's imagination is his greatest tool. It can create a mood or feeling that people want to have, as well as transport you to a different place altogether."

"To me, nothing is more important than making people happy, giving them a release from their problems and worries, helping to lighten their load. I want them to walk away from a performance I've done, saying, “That was great. I want to go back again. I had a great time.” To me, that's what it's all about. That's wonderful. That's why I don't understand when some celebrities say they don't want their kids in the business. I think they say that because they've been hurt themselves. I can understand that. I've been there too.

-Michael Jackson-
Encino, California 1988

What one wishes is to be touched by truth and to be able to interpret that truth so that one may use what one is feeling and experiencing, be it despair or joy, in a way that will add meaning to one's life and will
hopefully touch others as well. This is art in its highest form. Those moments of enlightenment are what I continue to live for."

And No, NO COMMENTS AT ALL from me on the "Moonwalk" section! :)  ;)  :D

I'm sure you have seen & heard most of the above "MJ-ISMS" yourselves too, but I just couldn't help myself here :P And of course, there's MUCH, MUCH MORE too (way tooooooooooo many to be posted here!) ;)    :D

A few more song lyrics 'reputed' to be "noteworthy" are:

media circus describes a story where there is coverage of the media to be out of proportion with the event terms, such as the number of journalists in place, the amount of media published or issued, and the level of media sensationalism.  The term refers to the critique of the media...

extent Ito invite attorneys and staff room audiences in their cameras to see the night before Jay Leno footage, however, Ito and other present in the courtroom disputes this characterization, defying critics identify a procedure which was not under control.  Since the jury was kidnapped, gag counsel that had not received the support of any Court of appeal, giving rise to chaotic scenes often outside the Court.

well, this will be what we are seeing, and what we continue to see over the coming months ?,.... a big circus ........ 8-)

I get the O.J. Simpson "connection", but God, TIAI twitter, did you absolutely 'have to' subject me through this video just for that :!:  :?:  :!: Perhaps a little "too funny" for my taste. My sense of humour is not quite that "adventurous", you know! :P Now, I'm going to need help from an aspirin for the headache before I can even think of escaping to the blessed, sweet oblivion of sleep!!!  :(

Quote from: "paula-c"
media circus describes a story where there is coverage of the media to be out of proportion with the event terms, such as the number of journalists in place, the amount of media published or issued, and the level of media sensationalism.

Bless you, Paula, thanks for making it better with your cheerful spirit!  :)

I have always questioned popular jurors so of fashion in society and I after the screening of this movie yet I reaffirm more in my convictions and thanks for not having to never participate in a similar show. Gives AWE that a gang as showing us some of these films have to decide on a person's life.

The Caine Mutiny, or .. (The Mutiny of the people)

The Caine crew reach the conclusion that his captain Queeg is not only incompetent but dangerous, since it has become insane auction. The official decided to mutiny is and take control of the ship after incontrovertible evidence of the madness of the head, accumulated for long travel and countless incidents. Shortly after the officers responsible for the mutiny are brought to a court martial.
The naval lawyer enyesado arm you with great skill to the defence of the mutineers. Their task is difficult, because it is not easy to test the mental illness of Captain Queeg. This is, however, who comes in aid of the defence, as presented at the trial begins to reveal his madness front of the same court that presence astonished the deployment of a rampant paranoia. The mutineers are finally acquitted.

Judgment Nuremberg

Of the Prosecutor will see evidence of the atrocities committed by the nazis as eugenics, sterilization and extermination practices series. From Rolfe, we will listen to a speech which, inter alia, shows declarations the allies who were in favour of Hitler and his policies because it was that at the time they should be. The statements refer to Winston Churchill praised policies that was undertaken by Hitler and the U.s. Supreme Court issued a statement supported the eugenics which was undertaken in Germany.
However, what is more important during the trial is the topic related to individual freedom, on if those judges could have been released or not against the laws of their country by moral imperatives. This results in a debate on whether a trial of this type should accuse last makers or all that German collaborated with the nazi regime.

The final verdict can make something clear, and it is that the message of the film still alive, today more than ever. As said the judge Dan Haywood in the verdict at the end of the film, but this trial has shown that during a national crisis [a crisis like this, with low wages, high prices and high level of unemployment] people normal even able and exceptional men can trick if them to commit crimes so hideous and enormous excess as you can imagine. Anyone who has attended this trial may forget them never. Men sterilized because of their political ideas, friendship and trust cruelly flouted, the murder of children How much easily occurs. I recognize that in our country there are people speak of the protection of the homeland of survival. Comes a time in which every country must take a decision at the precise moment at which the enemy clings to his throat. Then it seems that the only way to survive is to use the means of the enemy. We must survive as of all unscrupulous. In this case, I wonder: do survive as what? A nation is not a rock, nor is it an extension of one's own. It is the cause that defends, is that which defends when defending something is more difficult.

I think this is what is most important of these films ;)

REDEMPTION SONG - BOB MARLEY

Old pirates, yes, they rob I;
Sold I to the merchant ships,
Minutes after they took I
From the bottomless pit.
But my hand was made strong
By the 'and of the Almighty.
We forward in this generation
Triumphantly.
Won't you help to sing
This songs of freedom
'Cause all I ever have:
Redemption songs;
Redemption songs.

Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery;
None but ourselves can free our minds.
Have no fear for atomic energy,
'Cause none of them can stop the time.
How long shall they kill our prophets,
While we stand aside and look? Ooh!
Some say it's just a part of it:
We've got to fullfil the book.

Won't you help to sing
This songs of freedom-
'Cause all I ever have:
Redemption songs;
Redemption songs;
Redemption songs.
---
/Guitar break/
---
Emancipate yourselves from mental slavery;
None but ourselves can free our mind.
Wo! Have no fear for atomic energy,
'Cause none of them-a can-a stop-a the time.
How long shall they kill our prophets,
While we stand aside and look?
Yes, some say it's just a part of it:
We've got to fullfil the book.
Won't you have to sing
This songs of freedom? -
'Cause all I ever had:
Redemption songs -
All I ever had:
Redemption songs:
These songs of freedom,
Songs of freedom.

I LOVE BOB MARLEY!!! And Redemption Song is an old favourite that NEVER fails to strike a chord from DEEP within us, for MOST of us :) :)  :)

SO MANY different interpretations; ALL very meaningful...Most Touching & Inspirational overall...

Today it's :

[youtube:1z7tfxdp]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6YrinCQOxB0[/youtube:1z7tfxdp]

A funny thing happened tonight...

TIAI twitter page updates itself around 4:30 a.m my time usually & tonight I had to keep refreshing the page more than usual because it was a bit late by quite a few minutes (hmmm, have a look here: http://michaeljacksonhoaxforum.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?f=72&t=8077 ). I had several other windows open as well (again, as usual for me; no wonder I have so much pc trouble often, huh! :P Well, that & my natural ineptitude at "techie-stuff", of course  ). Anyway, one of them (an MJ site, of course) had a chatango chatbox on it. There was a time I was addicted to them myself, but theses days, I try to avoid chat because it takes so much time & there are so many self-appointed "categories" of friends-who-are-MJ fans, that it can get quite stressful to keep up with them all at once sometimes (although I still do it occasionally even now). In order to be able to be just me & to avoid getting 'swept away' with everything/everyone else, I avoid signing in mostly nowadays. I was quite thrilled by the latest post there. I don't think the site is all that important here, So I won't mention it. But the subject had something to do with the incident of MJ dancing on top of car back during the 2005 trial (sigh-sigh-sigh, there's something about that one...such a "bold statement" that it awakens & converses directly to all that which is "primal female" in me! :P   :D )!!! So, after reading/watching it, the way I was feeling, I just couldn't leave without popping in to say hello to all in there      Because I had been in there once before too, I was just making random conversation with some of them (after I went all Ga-Ga over the video, of course ;) ), when one of them just all of a sudden said: "You can't win". It was actually quite funny at that time because I had just mentioned how I was disappointed over the 'uneventful' "fool's day" & finished it on a note like "but, I'll live" etc :) I asked her if I should be worried because I had thought her comment alluded to mine somehow (I think it was a natural assumption on my part because I was doing the talking before her ??? 'unrelated' comment out of the blues!). It didn't even register on my brain to make "The Wiz" connection until she told me so herself!! Even then, it didn't seem like such a big deal (given the 'randomness' & 'cyclonic' nature of our "typical" MJ thoughts/feelings etc, I mean :P ) because TIAI twitter page hadn't updated itself by then. We chit-chatted for bit more (I kept refreshing TIAI twitter through out, by the way) & I think it was closing in on about 10 minutes LATER that the TIAI twitter page updated itself. Imagine my SHOCK when it was this, MJ's "You can't win" from The Wiz!!!  :o    Of course I immediately asked the person who made the out of place comment if she was aware of the TIAI twitter page. I think I made her uncomfortable with my questions/suggestive remarks about TIAI & TS (you know, along the lines of, "do you know him/her who is behind this", "do you think that this 'TS' is here on this chat window" etc etc kind of thing. Somehow, I just didn't/don't think she was "him/her/it" behind both TIAI sites though). She told me that she didn't know why it happened & that it was probably "just an odd coincidence", "may be just a shared feeling" & something else along the lines of "maybe people of his genius somehow 'sense' things about him because he's so 'connected' to the outpouring of feelings/LOVE for him" etc (that last one wasn't a direct quote, but the main gist of it). I don't get it at all :?  :?:  :? I know, it's all very beautiful, sweet & 'noble' in theory, but I mean, does that kind of thing happen on a regular basis FOR REAL :?:  :!:  :?: Also, please check out the "general consensus" on the forum link I've posted here too.

Maybe it's just me; maybe I just don't get "psychic-isms & telepathy whazzits", maybe my "faith" wavers with time & 'disappointments', maybe the general "mistrust" going around everywhere of late is rubbing off on me too, maybe I'm just discovering/forming a new cynical side of my own, maybe I'm trying too hard, too desperately, to read too much into "ALL this", I just don't know... :(

Anyway, here are the lyrics. And this time, let's please try to interpret it not just with our hearts, but also with a bit of our minds too, hmmm :)

You Can't Win -Michael Jackson (from "The Wiz")

You can't win
You can't break even
And you can't get out of the game
People keep sayin'
Things are gonna change
But they look just like
You're stayin' the same

You get in
way over your head
And you only got yourself to blame
You can't win Child
(You can't win Child)
You can't break even
And you can't get out of the game

You can't win
The world keeps movin'
And you're standin' far behind
People keep sayin'
Things'll get better
(Just to ease your state of mind)
(So you lean back, and you smoke that smoke)
(And you drink your glass of wine)
Say you can't win, Child
You can't break even
And you can't get out of the game

You can't win, you can't win no way
If your story stays the same
(You ain't winnin'),
No, no,
(But it's nice to see you)
(I'm awfully glad you came)
(Better cool it 'cause
It ain't about losin')
And the world has got no shame
You can't win, Child
You can't break even
You can't get out of the game

You can't win
You can't break even
Ain't the way it's supposed to be
(You'll be spendin'),
No, no
(Your little bit of money)
While someone else rides for free
(Learn your lesson), ooh,
(Refuel your mind)
(Before some turkey blows out your flame)

You can't win, Child. No!
You can't win
You can't win, Child. No!
You can't win
You can't win, Child. No!
You can't win
You can't win, Child. No!
You can't win

You can't win, Child
You can't break even
And you can't get out of the game
You can't get out of the game
You can't get out (wooh!) of the game
No, no...

TIAI Twitter, if you are reading this, please know that I think this definitely was NOT a "feel-good-er" at all (just a touch "too ambiguous" for my liking) & you had better not be 'fooling around' ("fool's day" is gone for now :P ) or laughing at us here!?! (with L.O.V.E, of course ;) ). If you really do have "good intentions" & wish to keep us "interested" for longer, please try to do better next time, ok? (again with LOVE, with or without the dots!) ;)  :P  :)

Can't wait to hear how the rest of you regard this one too...

But one thing I do know for sure is that this whole business of "What really happened to MJ on 25.06.09" doesn't run dry of odd/strange/weird "coincidences" at all, does it!?! ;)    :D

Here's to SOLID ANSWERS & PROOFS (as opposed to just tantalising "hints & cues" ;) ) this time!!!

Hi :) Don't often post but always read.  I agree this wasn't a feel gooder :( i've always felt strange about this scene in the movie.  But one thing that struck me that i feel i should add here and why i am posting.  Yesterday was Good Friday- also known as Holy Friday, Black Friday, Great Friday, is a holiday observed primarily by Christians commemorating the crucifixion of Jesus Christ.  Is it just me or does MJ look like he's crucified on the cross in the video  :? .... just sayin...

Now that talk of crusifixion, well Michael is crucified in the film, remembered as Michael was crucified by the media, public opinion, for those who did much damage, and they believe that crows are representing them all, and Michael tells them that they will not win this game. :?:  8-)

It is mentioned in this story, the "sword of Damocles" to speak of a threat that is latent, constant and can take unexpected and suddenly to a tragic end

I think after everything that has been investigated in this forum about Michael, .. words are. ;)

CONGRATULATIONS, TIAI twitter, You have done it again!!!

With this today: http://www.inspirationalstories.com/0/2.html

I'm all a mushy, sappy-soppy & a confused mess right now :(  :?  :!:    :?:     (with just a hint of frustration/exasperation too-Go figure! )

Now this is a perfect example of the many times that I STRONGLY feel that you must be a woman too (no intentional offensive "sexism" implied here, ok? :) ).

I also couldn't help noticing that you were early tonight ;) (but then again, I realise you do 'do' 3-something a.m my time on occasion too: just no later than 4:30 a.m usually though! :P ). It just took me quite a bit to 'suitably' compose myself to make this post

But the crux of the matter is that I'm SOOOOOOOOO irrevocably touched by this...So much so that I can overlook & set aside my bad hankering for 'concrete proofs & substantial answers' for NOW. If I really did possess "better sense", I 'should' actually be worried here :P But THANK GOD for these seemingly 'small blessings'; where would we ALL be without them!!! ;)    :D

It's easier said than done to "put oneself in 'another's shoes" for most of us. But we MUST ALL learn to acquire that habit & put that into actual practice more often too, simply because doing so would REALLY help to bridge the gap between "the great conundrum" of the "I & you" concepts. For, it really is this 'I & you' TOGETHER that encompasses the OMNIPOTENT (but sadly, often underestimated) "We". This, however, does NOT necessarily mean completely loosing touch with the very distinguishable "I" & "YOU" amidst the greater "WE" either!!! Ultimately, it's the entire composition & combination that makes our world recognisable for US ALL & also for the good old earth to do it's whole 360 degrees thing too! ;)  :)

This one also closely reminds me of another classic (& much debated) philosophical proposition/puzzle; the famous "butterfly dilemma", So, thought I will quote it here too:

Quote
From The Complete Works Of Chuang Tzu
(Translated by Burton Watson)

Ending of Chapter 2 : Discussion on Making All Things Equal

" Once Chuang Chou dreamt he was a butterfly, a butterfly flitting and fluttering around, happy with himself and doing as he pleased. He didn't know he was Chuang Chou. Suddenly he woke up and there he was, solid and unmistakable Chuang Chou. But he didn't know if he was Chuang Chou who had dreamt he was a butterfly, or a butterfly dreaming he was Chuang Chou. Between Chuang Chou and a butterfly there must be some distinction! This is called the Transformation of Things. "

*Have a look at the wikipage here if you are curious about him (there is much English spelling variations of his name :) ): http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zhuangzi

Anyways, THANK YOU VERY MUCH for today's post, TIAI Twitter. I really do appreciate it very much indeed. Oh, & I'm glad you are "back" too! :)  ;)  :) So, I guess I also am back to being my old more-or-less 'happy customer' self (not to mention hooked :P ) for longer :D :D    :D  :D

Didn't catch today's link sooner tonight because two days of operating on 5 hours of sleep (more to do with my non-MJ life actually, if you are wondering :P ) finally caught up with me for a bit  (GASP, the HORROR & SHAME; I'll never live this one down at the greater 'Vampires Inc. Society'! ;)  :D ).

Anyways, today's link is:

Quote
(http://www.mj-777.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/TheInnocentMan.jpg)

For those of you "neatos" with handwriting etc, here you go ;) :

" If I sail to Acapulco or Cancun Mexico
There the law is waiting for me
and God knows that I'm innocent

If they wont take me in Cairo
then lord where will I go?

I’ll die a man without a country
and only God knew I was innocent now. "

Hmmm...

* A single sheet of lyrics [written on 28 x 21.5 cm (11 x 8 1/2 in) sized paper - PLEASE tell me it's COMPLETELY irrelevant here because I ABSOLUTELY suck at Math :oops:  :cry: :!:  :?:  :!: ],

* 13 lines of the chorus for "The Innocent Man" [Again, I hope we are ONLY supposed to take this STRICTLY at "sur"/face value! :P ],

* " These lyrics were apparently written during Michael Jackson’s child abuse trial in 2005. "[Interesting to note the word, "apparently" here, don't you think ;) ],

* Property of a "Private Collection", with the estimated worth of £8,000-12,000 [Good grief & I was worried I had spending 'issues'! ].

* Somehow, I just don't feel that either Acapulco, Cancun Mexico or Cairo are especially 'significant' on their own rights here.

*** Have a peek here, if you are curious about some of the other items sold at the same auction: http://www.phillipsdepury.com/auctions/lot-detail.aspx?sn=UK000309&search=&p=5&order=&lotnum=52

I think the lyrics are self-explanatory, given the "apparent" period (during the 2005 Trials) that they were written. Herein is reflected one man's pain & need to be simply be accepted for what & who he was; to clear his name off the wrongful & slanderous allegations of which he was accused of, for his longing to escape to a place where people wouldn't shun him, condemn him, make an unwanted, unwelcome & ridiculous public intrusion/spectacle out of his whole life for their own 'entertainment'/enjoyment/sick, weird 'kicks' etc... :(    :(

Awww, I truly hope that he finally finds (if he hasn't already) such a place (even if it's in his own mind-frame, rather than an actual tangible, physical 'site') where people regard one another with love & acceptance & treat each other with the basic human courtesy & decency of respecting one another; some place where he doesn't feel the need to constantly struggle to "prove" himself; somewhere he feels completely comfortable simply just being him, the man; some place with which he can establish a REAL sense of belonging that he so crave(d/s); some place where he can finally be at peace within himself...

TIAI Twitter, I don't think I follow this one (or you for that matter sometimes :P , but that's a different story that can wait for another time) all that clearly. Are you merely trying to get us to reflect on the depths of MJ's soul/trying to get us to focus on the man, minus the PERSONA kind of thing here, as opposed to giving us clues or hints (because that's how this comes across to me)??? I also feel that MANY of us are already doing A LOT of that, especially of late & have actually found the inspiration to actively try to pursue "being the change" ourselves, instead of merely restricting ourselves to pointing fingers at others. Personally, I find it quite heartening to note that the 'trend' is catching too (granted that it's not in HUGE leaps & bounds yet, but the small steps surely count as a beginning) :)  :D  :) Or is this another kind of disguised not-so-pleasant 'message' (albeit, out of kindness or empathy!)?!? PLEASE tell me this is not just a 'pretty' "filler" to keep us distracted, interested & occupied for longer because you are simply running dry on ideas!!! So, what more could you possibly expect of us on the above mentioned particular angle :!:  :?:  :?  :?:  :!:

Special request to TIAI Twitter: Next time, could we PLEASE have something more closely linked with the present state of our man?!? (because that's what plays priority with most of us right now; our concern, worry & confusion over that).

Uh, Uh, Huh
Turn the music up
Turn me down
Guru...Lets go get 'em again
This time it's for the money my nigga

[Verse One]
There's never been a nigga this good for this long
This hood
Or this pop is hot
Or this strong
With so many different flows
This ones for this song
The next one I'll switch up
This one will get bit up
These fucks
To lazy to make up shit
They crazy
They don't...paint pictures
They just trace me
You know what
Soon they forget who they plucked
They whole style from
And try to reverse the outcome
I'm like...CLUCK
I'm not a biter
I'm a writer
For myself and others
I say a B.I.G. verse I'm only biggin up my brother
Biggin up my borough
I'm big enough to do it
I'm that thorough
Plus i know my own flow is foolish
So the rings and things you sing about
Bring em out
It's hard to yell when the bar-rel's in your mouth
I'm in...New sneakers
Deuce seaters
A few Diva's
What more can i tell you
Let me spell it for you
W-I-Double L-I-E
Nobody truer than H-O-V
And I'm back for more
New Yorks ambassador
Prime Minister back to finish my business up

[Chorus: Singing]
What more can i say?
What more can i do?
I give this all to you
I know this much is true
My Life
(Look at my life)
(See what i see)

[Verse Two]
You already know what I'm about
Flying birds down south
Moving wet off the step
Purple Rain in the drought
Stuntin on hoes
Brushing off my shirt
But ain't nothing on my clothes
'Cept my chain
My name

Even if they patrol i make payroll

Friends they roll
Private jets down to Turks and Caicos
Chrys case loads
I don't give a shit
Nigga one life to live i can't let a day go
Bye
Without me being fly
Fresh to death
Head to toe until the day i rest
And i don't wear jerseys I'm thirty plus
Give me a crisp pair of jeans nigga button ups
S dots on my feet
Makes my cycle complete
What more can i say Guru play the beat, I'm leaving!

We gonna let this ride into the hook
I'mma snap my fingers on this one
What more can i say to you?
Get my grown man on
LET'S GO
(What more can i say?)

[Verse Three]
Now you know ass is Willie
When they got you in a mag
For like half a Billi
And your ass ain't Lilly
White
That mean that shit you write must be illy
Either that or your flow is silly
It's both
I don't mean to boast
But damn if i don't brag
Them crackers gonna act like i ain't on they ads
The Martha Stewart
That's far from Jewish
Far from a Harvard student
Just had the balls to do it
And no I'm not through with it
In fact I'm just previewing it
This ain't the show I'm just EQ'in it
One, Two and i won't stop abusing it
To groupie girls stop false accusing it
Back to the music
The mayback roof is translucent
Niggas got a problem Houston
What up B
They can't shut up me
Shut down I
Not even P.E.
I'mma ride
God forgive me for my brash deivery
But i remember vivily
What these streets did to me
So picture me
Lettin these clowns nit pick at me
Paint me like a Pickaninny
I will literally
Kiss Tee-Tee in the forhead
Tell her please forgive me
Then squeeze until your forhead
I'm not the one to score points off
In fact
I got a joint to knock your points off
Young
Hova the God nigga blast for me
I'm at the Trump International
Ask for me
I ain't never scared
I'm everywhere
You ain't never there
Nigga why would i ever care
Pound for pound I'm the best to ever come around here
Excluding nobody
Look what i embody
The soul of a hustler i really ran the street
I CEO's mine
That marketing plan was me
And no i ain't get shot up a whole bunch of times
Or make up shit in a whole bunch of lines
And i ain't animated, like say a, Busta Rhymes
But the real shit you get when you bust down my lines
Add that to the fact i went plat a bunch of times
Times that by my influence
On pop culture
I supposed to be number one on everybody's list
We'll see what happens when i no longer exist
Fuck this

(What more can i say?)
 OOPS  I know it's probably not directed at anyone especially, But OUCH, I feel oddly ??? 'rebuked' almost. Darn it, why do I always have to be so ??? touchy & take everything so 'personally'!?!  :x   But of course, I'm not going to apologise & make excuses for the weird mayhem of my emotional range here; hey, like it or not, we are all who we are, So have to learn to at least accept our own selves, hmmm?!? :P I'm heartened to realise that all this is perfectly 'natural' though & perhaps even 'predestined' too (consistent with the whole "We'll see what happens when I no longer exist" theme) ;)

Thanks for spelling "it" ALL out so 'effectively' though, TIAI Twitter!!! :D    :D
And oh, guess you don't sound all that 'womanly' anymore either, T.T! ;)

Talk about MAKING A STATEMENT!!! With EMPHASIS!  ;)  :D  :P Kinda reminds me of the whole 'dancing on top of car' incident back in 2005 too (here I go again; feeling all hopelessly & uncontrollably giggly-girly  :P SIGH  SIGH ;) SIGH :D   ).
But anyways, I TOTALLY dig this one ABSOLUTELY, So THANK YOU VERY MUCH[/b] FOR IT, TIAI Twitter!!! And looking    to MUCH, MUCH MORE[/b] too!!!
Tickled pink (& a bit giddy too!) ALL THE WAY here :D    :P    ;)  :)  8-)    :D

Quote
" The term “Beat Generation” was invented by Kerouac during a conversation held with fellow novelist John Clellon Holmes. His fame would come as an unmanageable surge that would ultimately be his undoing. Kerouac's novel is often described as the defining work of the post-World War II Beat Generation and Kerouac came to be called "the king of the beat generation,"  a term that he never felt comfortable with. He once observed, "I'm not a beatnik, I'm a Catholic. "

This " Yellow brick road " movie to get Brain, Heart, and Courage, three qualities essential to Life !

The comment made by one person on the video is defined...
I've been wondering as becomes innocence once it has been lost, so easy to lose, so difficult to find that unfair.
"how innocence?, or the desire to return to the happy home of magical way".
It may the innocence not what we are looking for, perhaps we are looking for people able to see where others only see things normal magic. :)

"All of the stories I wrote was true because he believed in what I saw."

"LOVE IS ALL"

We always tell the truth .. and some people do not listen, or hear what they want ..
I tell the truth, I'm honest with myself,
I'm also just as honest with you.
I tell the truth, I'm true to myself,
That way I can also be true to you. Also That way I can be true to you.

I tell the truth;
I don't fool you
I tell the truth;
I don't just keep truth up on a shelf — Truth I do not just keep up on a shelf -
To take down when it suits my needs.

I tell the truth even when it's hard,
It's harder to live with a lie.
I tell the truth right from the start,
Not just later when I've been found out.

We've heard about George Washington chopping down a tree,
“Father, I cannot tell a lie.” said he.
But we've also heard the story of the boy who cried “wolf”,
When he finally told the truth, they ignored his plea.

I tell the truth, I want your trust,
I want to be able to trust myself.
I tell the truth, I want your respect,
I want to be able to respect myself.

 I tell the truth;
I don't fool you
And I don't fool myself. I tell the truth;
I don't just keep truth up on a shelf — Truth I do not just keep up on a shelf -
To take down when it suits my needs.

I Tell the Truth
Character Development Song
Laszlo Slomovits

Love is all, or is it all for love, .. bears some resemblance  :)

Woman claims to be Michael's wife and mother of his children
"previous | following"
Nona Paris Lola Jackson Ankhesenamun filed suit in the Court of Los Angeles, demanding that he allowance for all property and money from "The King of Pop"  Send..A woman named Nona Paris Lola Jackson Ankhesenamun claims to be the wife of Michael Jackson and claimed before the Court of Los Angeles all the assets of "The King of Pop", reports tmz.com.

Nona, who now lives in London, said further that is the true mother of Prince I, Paris and "Blanket" the singer's three children.

"All my husband's properties and the money and property should be transferred to me immediately," he said in his application to the Court. "And my husband's body should be returned immediately to the" body "of the prosecutor (sic), or the funeral home."

There is no evidence that Nona Paris has had some kind of relationship with Michael, much less has been married to him.

But last December, Nona Paris filed suit in the Court claiming to be the only wife of singer of "Beat it."

He added that Jackson's three children are his and not authorized to live with Katherine Jackson, mother of the singer.

"For any questions, please contact me at (added his email account)."

Nona Paris said she met Michael when he was a teenager. Not only that. Claims that he wrote about 3 thousand songs for him.

After Michael's death last week, Nona Paris posted this message online: "I have been widowed, I gave all my love to Michael, but that's all I could give the gift of eternity. He was greatly loved in this life and in the other world does so. I can also die in peace someday. "

He adds: "Although he left this earth, he now lives with my father (Satan) Khalid Lucifer."

And as Nona Paris Lola signature Ankhesenamun Jackson, wife of Michael Jackson

                                                   Ankhesenamun

There is little known about Ankhesenamun (meaning “She lives through Amun” or “Living through Amun”).  She was initially known through her birth name of Ankhesenpaaten (meaning “She lives through the Aten” or “Living through the Aten”) in her earlier years of life.  Written, throughout history, are variations of her name as this was altered during her marriage to Tutankhamun. She was approximately thirteen years old when she married Tutankhamun who was most likely her half-brother.  Tutankhamun was probably around eight years old at the time that this marriage occurred.  This history timeline is known as the Amarna Period.
The alteration of names for both Tutankhamun and Ankhesenamun occurred as they changed their form of worship from one God to another.  Their reign initially included the worship of the God Aten (known as “The Sun-Disc) and this eventually changed to the worship of the God Amun (known as the “The Hidden One”).  Sometimes Ankhesenamun is written as Ankhesenamon, Ankhesenamum, and other variations on the name.

What is known about Ankhesenamun is that she was born the third daughter of Akhenaten and Nefertiti.  History tells us that there were at least six known daughters born to this famous couple; Meritaten, Meketaten, Ankhesenpaaten, Nefernefruaten ta-Sherit, Nefernefrure, and Setepenre.  The first three daughters appear to have had a more prominent position in the family hierarchy as they are depicted more frequently in pictures than the last three daughters.

It appears that Akhenaten, Ankhesenamun’s father, may have attempted to father children with the first three eldest daughters.  It is suggested that Ankhesenamun’s second eldest sister may have died giving child birth. This is deducted from a scene found in the royal tomb which portrays a vivid display of this occurrence (a woman dying due to child birth).  It is almost likely that Akhenaten also fathered children from his other two daughter’s Meritaten and Ankhesenamun.  Those children carried the names of their respective mothers with the addition of “ta-sherit” (junior) after their names.  Including “ta-sherit” to the name of children who had the same name as their respective mothers, appeared to be the standard practice of that time.

As Nefertiti, Akhenaten’s queen, disappears from history, Akhenaten marries the eldest daughter Meritaten.  She now becomes the Chief Queen after her mother Nefertiti. Also during Akhenaten’s reign he names Smenkhkare as co-regent (a person who would reign in conjunction with him).  It was sometimes the practice of Kings or Pharoahs to name co-regents during their reign.  Co-regents tended to be son’s or proposed heirs to the throne.  During this time, Akhenaten decides to wed Meritaten (his daughter and current wife) to Smenkhkare for his wife.  Akhenaten then takes Ankhesenamun, the third daughter, as his next new wife.  Ankhesenamun now becomes the Chief wife of Akhenaten for a short period.

It appears that shortly after, both Meritaten and Akhenaten die and then Smenkhkare marries Ankhesenamun.  History shows that they are married for approximately one to three years and then Smenkhkare also dies. Tutankhamun is named the next pharaoh and Ankhesenamun and Tutankhamun are then married.  Although both are still children, Tutankhamun and Ankhesenamun go on to rule Egypt over the next ten years.  During the ten years Ankhesenamun gives birth to two children (both girls).  Both girls are born premature and die. One of the children is now known to have had a condition called Spengel’s deformity in conjunction with spina bifida and scoliosis.  The two mummy encasements were found during the excavation of Tutankhamun’s tomb.

During their reign, history shows that Tutankhamun had an official adviser named Ay who most likely was the grandfather of Ankhesenamun.  In addition, it seems that Ay most likely took advantage of the fact that both Tutankhamun and Ankhesenamun were very young and he most probably had a heavy hand in molding and shaping Tutankhamun’s thinking in the early years.  This likely occurred as changes and decisions during those early years of Tutankhamun’s rule carried the weight of a more-versed and more-mature ruler and could not have been done by a child of eight years old.

As Tutankhamun and Ankhesenamun began to mature, Tutankhamun suddenly died for no apparent reason.  Tutankhamun was about 18 years of age when he passed away and once again Ankhesenamun was left without a husband.  The standard mourning period was 70 days and it appears that several major things occurred during this timeframe; 1) Tutankhamun’s burial site seems to have been put together in a haphazardly way, 2) Ankhesenamun is not mentioned or depicted at the burial site or are there any personal items of Ankhesenamun buried with Tutankhamun as this was the standard practice of including “wifely items” with the dead pharaohs, and 3) History now shows us that Ankhesenamun may have tried to contact the Hittite King Suppiluliumas for help. King Suppiluliumas was a well-known enemy of Egypt at that time.

Upon further review of Tutankhamun’s burial site, it seems that the walls were not fully painted as would have been fitting for a pharaoh of that time.  Why? It also appears that many of the items found in the tomb were borrowed and did not belong strictly to Tutankhamun.  Again the question is why? Speculation is that Ay, who was most probably in control of the burial procedures, was in a hurry to get everything completed and sealed as he may have been the person responsible for Tutankhamun’s death.  Why does speculation lean toward that theory?  Most likely because he had much control over the rule of Egypt during Tutankhamun’s rule until the boy king began to mature.  He probably wanted him out of the way.  In addition, history shows that he married Ankhesenamun shortly after Tutankhamun died and thereby became Egypt’s new pharaoh.  Upon review of Tutankhamun’s skull, there is some evidence that Tutankhamun may have died a more brutal death than once thought and Ay is at the top of the list as a possible murderer.

In addition, the standard practice of that time would have been to mention and provide many items of the “Chief wife” of a pharaoh in a burial site. Unfortunately, there is little mention of Ankhesenamun at the burial site. The fact that any personal items belonging to Ankhesenamun at Tutankhamun’s tomb are missing make things even more suspicious.  Why would this occur?  Could it be that Ay may have been planning to take Ankhesenamun (most probably his granddaughter) as his wife and thereby become the new Pharaoh?  It would not have been fitting to have his new wife depicted in Tutankhamun’s tomb.  By marrying Ankhesenamun he would then have a direct link to the throne and be more readily accepted as Egypt’s new ruling pharaoh.
The third suspicious piece to this puzzle is a letter sent to a Hittite King named Suppiluliumas from an Eqyptian queen.  There is speculation that the letter could have been sent from another queen because the names referenced in the letter do not specifically mention Ankhesenamun or Tutankhamun but rather use the names Dahamunzu and her dead husband Niphururiya.  However, upon further review of the Hittite phonetic translations of Egyptian language at that time, it would have been translated to point towards Ankhesenamun as the queen asking for help and Tutankhamun as the king having died.  The letter states, “My husband has died and I have no son. They say about you that you have many sons. You might give me one of your sons to become my husband. Never shall I pick out a servant of mine and make him my husband!...I am afraid!”  Why would Ankhesenamun be afraid?  Could it be that she knew that Ay had contributed to her husband’s death? Could it be that she had seen Ay depicted in Tutankhamun’s tomb wearing the royal crown’s of Egypt with his name clearly written in hieroglyphs as the presiding priest over Tutankhamun’s picture?

Upon receiving the request for help from the Eqyptian queen, King Suppiluliumas sent Hattusa-zita, a chamberlain, to verify that this was a true request and not a plan of treachery.  Hattusa-zita returned verifying that this was not a scheme but rather a true plea for help. King Suppiluliumas then sent his youngest son Zanannza to marry the Egyptian queen (more than likely Ankhesenamun). Upon entering Egypt the whole group was murdered.

Ankhesenamun was left with no other alternative than to marry Ay who was at least 40 years her senior.  A blue-glass finger ring has since been found containing both Ankhesenamun and Ay’s engraved names.  This is further evidence that this marriage took place after Tutankhamun’s death.  Shortly thereafter, Ankhesenamun disappears from history and even in Ay’s tomb there is no evidence that she was the chief wife.  Rather, it is Tiy who appears in Ay’s tomb.  But as history writes itself, Ankhesenamun had married 4 pharaohs in her short lifetime; Akhenaten (her father), Smenkhkare (more than likely her half brother), Tutankhamun (more than likely her half brother), and Ay (probably her grandfather).

In fact, I was actually half way through writing a purely Egyptology based response to this when I saw your comment here! :P     So, MUCH obliged to you yet AGAIN, Paula :)  :D  :)

And, whether or not you are "REALLY linked" to the original TIAI.com, I must say, GOOD ONE today, TT! I TOTALLY like   :D      ;)      :D

"But as history writes itself, Ankhesenamun had married 4 pharaohs in her short lifetime; Akhenaten (her father), Smenkhkare (more than likely her half brother), Tutankhamun (more than likely her half brother), and Ay (probably her grandfather)."

This is disgusting.

That makes one less 'factor' to debate/discuss, speculate & plain just wrack our brains over, pondering & wondering! PHEW & WHOOOOOOOPEEEEEEEEEEE!!! So, there's still HOPE for the rest to be "sorted" out too...EVENTUALLY, I mean, of course! :P   ;) 8-)  :D

I hope you still continue to make an occasional post every now & then (if you have the time & are still inclined to, that is! ;)) because I've grown to enjoy them too much (OVERALL, I mean; not especially 'individually' :P). In fact, you were the real inspiration/reason (in particular, the one on 2 March :)) behind me wanting to take a serious interest & pay extra attention to TS/TIAI too!!! Sorry folks, DON'T KILL ME for being bluntly honest here, but I'm simply just not the sort of person who can go on such a "rich" diet of numbers & conspiracies-cum-virtual-reality & open-your-eyes-to-the-"big bad world" themed stuff ALL/MOST of the time!!! :P  :D  ;) I don't care if this makes me across as especially "naive/unenlightened/nuts", but I truly, madly & deeply BELIEVE that there are PLENTY of roses to be smelled 'out there'; it would be a REAL SHAME & CRIME to let them ALL go to waste, being busy "picking at the thorns"! TIAI twitter gave me the ...???... "MORE MUCH-MUCHNESS" that I both needed & wanted (my grandmother is always saying there's HUGE difference between the two & I happen to agree too ;)). TT really made me see "THIS WHOLE THING" through a pair of much welcome "new eyes". Hey, to someone who has patience & attention span issues these past months have just CRAWLED by EXCRUCIATINGLY SLOWLY & not-so-eventfully too, So please have some consideration here! :P TT also made "IT" ALL somehow ...???... more personal. I guess, getting a sense of how I fit/figure/blend into the "BIG-ger picture" was important to me. Surely, we aren't all just "expected" to be passive/programmed "find-outers", "spectators", "witness-bearers", "love/light propagandists" & "applauders"!?! For me, there JUST HAS TO BE MORE to "THIS" than just One Man, His Journey for Fulfillment & Quest/Need for Self-Expression!!!

THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING AGAIN, TIAI Twitter :)  :D  :)

And don't be a stranger too!!! ;)    :P

MJalive999, do not you think that you are not disrespecting the mere fact that someone does not agree with what you say? .. I think the adjective "ignorant is over.

MJalive999, I have no problems, I think the problem is you, and I repeat who are not ignorant to call anyone who disagrees with what you say.
And I will continue responding to what you write in this forum, I do not care what you say.
