this really has nothing to do with the hoax and more about my curiosity...

how come michael never wore his wedding ring when he was married to lisa marie? she wore hers (i've seen in pictures), but he didn't wear his. in fact, i think the only time i've seen the ring on him was in the "Blood on the Dancefloor" video. was it because he didn't want to upset his girl fans?

just wondering, thanks =]

I suspect that you are right---it was the image thing. I, too, have wondered about this. MJ wore little jewelry as an adult yet I see many pics of him wearing various rings when he was younger. However, perhaps, he just didn't care for it?

I think some people just can't stand gold (I'm one of them). Could be that or could be other reason. Just keep your notes, we'll ask him when he gets back ;)

Why not just tell people I'm an alien from Mars? Tell them I eat live chickens and do a voodoo dance at midnight. They'll believe anything you say, because you're a reporter. But if I, Michael Jackson, were to say, "I'm an alien from Mars and I eat live chickens and do a voodoo dance at midnight," people would say, "Oh, man, that Michael Jackson is nuts. He's cracked up. You can't believe a single word that comes out of his mouth."

He wore it on his right hand. You can see it in the Dangerous Tours.

I was under the impression that MJ was right-handed.

I don't know about the ring....as I don't even recall Michael wearing a wedding band on the right hand. However, and I don't know if this is factual or not, but was told a wedding band may be worn on the right hand if the marriage is unconventional.

I'm quite sure Michael wasn't married to Lisa yet during the Dangerous tour.

Traditionally, a wedding ring is worn on the left hand. However, you are right---one need not wear a wedding band to prove that one is in love. It is merely a symbol of that never-ending love to others.

You can see a wedding ring in several dates on the HIStory tour. Not that that helps, since it's not from when he was married to LMP but Debbie Rowe...
