I have a question.
Let's say he really is alive and that Murray really gets convicted.
And lets say there is people still after him that figured out that he is alive.
If Murray is convicted for unvoluntary manslaughter on Michael --

then what happens if the conspiracy people finds Michael after the conviction and kills him?

Nothing!
Because a man can't die twice, and there would already be someone in prison for his death.

If someone is in prison, for killing someone --
and that person really isn't dead. Then what happens
if someone kills that person? Nothing, right! Someone
has already paid for that crime.

My dad was an attorney.  If Michael would be killed after Murray is convicted.  His conviction would be overturned and they would file charges against whoever actually murdered him.  Double jeopordy onlly applies to the convicted person.  In other words Murray couldn't be tried again for the same crime.

i dont think that is right i dont do crime and cant remember much of it even though i did a masters in it.

i think if your convicted of killing a and a is not dead and you go an kill a - then as your convicted the first time you cant get convicted again

but in your situation i think it depends if a body is found and if they can identify it and trace the time/date of death - if so the first conviction would be unsafe and the if the second murders could be found then they would be done for it

Arabian, I think you basically said the same thing I did.  Murray could not be tried again for the same crime even if he is the one that killed MJ the second time.  But if someone else does it, the first conviction would be overturned and they would go after the real killer.

I have to say though, I think it unlikely that Murray will get convicted.  His attorney got a nurse aquitted for basically the same crime.  There is no FDA control on propophol which puts a kink in things.  Unfortunately, case law is usually the deciding factor.  In other words if he does get a conviction it may very well be overturned because of previous cases that were similar.

On another view of this, what if MJ is killed by bad guys [whoever they are] with murray in clink the real murderer would get off scotch free  :?  as the world thinks he's already dead  :(
