Joe Jackson is a little taken aback by the news that Cirque du Soleil will be performing a traveling Michael Jackson show and you can count him out of catching a performance.

How old is he? What if he has undiagnosed beginning Alzheimers? My grandma is starting to get it a little bit. She's 76. She forgets about people in the family sometimes. She can't remember my Uncle Rustam sometimes. Other times she can. & once in a while she'll forget whose kids are whose. She gets confused sometimes too about what she's doing or where she's at. Little things like that, that are a big part of her life. It's not that bad right now, but she does get mixed up. So maybe he has that & he can't always remember who or what he's being asked about.  It's sad if he is, we shouldn't make fun of him or talk badly about him, he's getting old. The ones we can talk about with their conflicting stories & weird answers are MJ's brothers & sisters who are not senior citizens :|

You guys are underestimating Joe, it's not Alzheimer, it's called hoax.

I do wonder why he says he won't see it, how can he be so sure? Is he ill? Or doesn't he want to see it? Is there a video of this somewhere?

I think Joe is over 80. And yes, I think he has mind disorder. His lifestyle, age and who knows his medical history has made their job. :roll:
Problems with memory is very frequent.
My neighbor is in her 80s and she knows me for 20 years. Once she called my door with no clue who I am and asked for help. I came in her house and she was crying because she was sure she was completely alone. She did'n't remember she has a son (the only one, not 10 children as Joseph has), who lives with her. She was complaining that she had nothing to eat though her fridge was full but she seemed just couldn't see it.
Joe might be really stressed and that cause that memory disorder.

I think we can wonder about age problems, He must be over 80. I think Joe looks pretty good for a 80 year old man. Don't forget that most 80 year old men are --- dead... So maybe he has a strange behaviour and you could think he has drugs problems, but maybe it's only pills for who knows health problem...It's just natural to be different at 80. It is call "getting old"...will happen to you some day !

It's not because he doesn't seem to care about Michael that he actually doesn't care...you never know what people have inside. We all know life was hard for Michael with  his father but it doesn't mean it was done one purpose, or because Joe did not love his son.

And do not forget he can also be total clear and part of the hoax  :mrgreen:

if Joe has mind problem, how the family allow him to be interviewed and go on TV ? (This won't be good for the hoax if he give clue about MJ being alive).
Or he is a complete assh**e that doesn't care at all about his son, even his death, since this one give up Jackson 5 and only keep an eye on him for the money (the same way he get out of the dark), or he acts like the man lost in the middle of the story to let us wondering what is real or fake thinking if even him doesn't know, it's normal to be lost (like a brain washer).

So that's the question : Joe is he a smart actor who makes brain tricks on fans, the careless father toward his son success or the old grand father that lost his mind ?
