Re: Analysis & Rationale of MJ Haters?

I personally feel that ignorance and ego plays a huge part in a person's bias of someone. It takes a great deal of emotional investment to either love or hate someone. For those who hate, I feel, have a deep-seated anger, dislike or inadequacy about something within themselves that MJ (or anyone) reminds them of. Perhaps, it could be the fact that MJ always remained composed even throughout all of the hurtful, deceitful allegations; or because he is talented and successful; or that MJ-despite his physical changes-can still be attractive in the eyes of many and that is threatening to their ego. MJ has so many great qualities that seem unattainable, which I feel threatens people who are unwilling to look at themselves and the world with their eyes wide-open and make personal proactive changes. These people are blinded by ignorance which culminates hate, prejudice, discrimination. Oftentimes, because of this fact, these individuals aren't even aware of how repulsive they actually are.

JACKSONGIRL,

Thanks for your resonse regarding You-Tube Trolls! Here is my take on these Trolls: I think they are latent/repressed Homos that were aroused/activated by watching MJ in Videos! I think they are turned on by him and *Do It* while watching the videos...and then are angry about it afterwards. I think MJ was so stimulating to watch that he affected everybody, no matter what their normal sexual orientation! I have even seen cute comments on YT videos of guys saying things like "Wow - I'm a Straight guy but he looks beautiful here" OK, to me that's a well-adjusted straight guy that can admit that and be OK with it, and laugh at themselves. But then there are the ones that are Turned On and Refuse to Admit it, feel ashamed about it and react by lashing out as "Trolls". I truly sense that this is the REAL Problem with the Trolls!
Madonna said in her Tribute on this years MTV awards "Millions of women fell in love with him" and then she added "and lots of men too" and the audience applauded - remember that?
I think "Trolls" are actually Guys who have the HOTS for MJ and they Think they are Deflecting that, but in actuality they are Exposing their Lust for him by posting such venom. They aren't fooling anybody! They are CRAZY about him, too :P
haha that made me smile :D lol probably true too.

This is all because of media brainwashing nothing to see with mental illness or disorder or whatever. The medias turn stories like they want, twist the truth, they lie it doesn't matter for them. Don't underestimate the power of medias. They're very dangerous and can destroy someone's life very fast. With all the crap they said on Michael they didn't manage to get him down because the truth always prevails. The fans are still there for him stronger than ever.

A lot of people are easily manipulated and believe everything they read or see on TV that's just as simple as that and it's available for everything not only Michael Jackson. I know persons who don't like Michael the person (but admit to love his songs) because of what they read on tabloids !! I just can't take it and each time it goes into an argument ! Well I don't know how to awake certain persons...

"The pen is mightier than the sword" goes an old proverb...

To Sarahli...

"The pen is mightier than the sword" goes an old proverb...

We need to come up with a NEW Slogan to Counteract the *Pen* don't we?...

How About...

"The Enlightened are Mightier Than the Pen" or "The Truth is Mightier Than the Pen"...

Yes good propositions. I like The Truth because this is what it's all about in this world full of lies written, printed, spoken and finally spread all around the world.

I don't know any real haters but I have spoken to a few people who have mocked MJ about his looks, etc. and then, as soon as tickets for TII went on sale, these people were falling over themselves to buy them.

True. Many writers love using the PC. A bit off topic, but as an aspiring author, I love to do rough drafts of my stories in PEN and THEN type them on the PC.

It's an old proverb I know it's not accurate nowadays but the pen is the most significant object to describe the act of writing and the power of words. Because with a pen you shape each letter yourself, with your hand, you are part of what you write.

"But with your pen
you torture men"
MJ

The first time I heard that, I think i was in High school and Mrs. Webb our old Art teacher told us to write about our opinions on it.  :D

Yes I'm talking about this proverb and find it still up to date even if nowadays we use computers to write. The words are still the same and it's us who use them for good or evil purposes. I love to say that words have the meaning we give them.
Good thing that you had to write your thoughts about this proverb. I used to like these kind of homeworks when I was at school  :).

I quoted Tabloid Junkie because Michael uses the word pen in it :)

God bless you.
