I can't imagine how a mother wouldn't want to see her son's body as painfull as it may be...you just can't stay there without seing him...so either she didn't have what to see because the cascket was empty, either it was someone else and that could be a reason she wouldn't want to see it

...since you went away, Don\'t you know
I sit around with my head hanging down,
And I wonder...who\'s loving you!?

One of the brothers, sorry, I don´t remember which one, also said it was so hard to see him lying in the casket. So it must have been open.
Others say it was closed.
On the one hand they saw him, on the other they didn´t.
Doesn´t add up. Again.

"You know, I´m serious, dude!" (Akon) LOL

Dead or alive, people have to take in family tradition and culture. I know in my family, we don't go back to visit the dead at all. Some people do open casket funerals and others don't. In the USA there is a wake, for the viewing and then there is a funeral. They had a private wake at Hayvenhurst (supposedly). That's when everyone was allowed to view the body. I think the stories are conflicted because some did not see the body immediately after the supposed death and some got to see the body for the actual viewing or wake. With regard to his face being bruised, perhaps that was fixed and concealed with make up. :?:  After 2 months you do not necessarily decay if the body is well preserved. When you have money you can do those things.

However, the circumstances are strange and they have really tried to sheild MJ from the public and protect him, dead or alive. 8-)
