Michael Jackson was a COKE addict????? (coca cola)

i just drank a whole can of light coke and still sleepy. so i'm off to bed.

Ok let's look at what I think  :mrgreen:

- Michael was supposed to be dehydrated during rehearsals
- BUT he drunk enough coke to be coke addict, which means AT LEAST 2/3 bottles a day, or more...
- MY brother was a coke addict, he had about 1 or 2 bottles a day, he NEVER had sleeping problems...Coke can keep you up if you are not used to it, but it's like any other addiction : if you get some everyday, then it has no effects at all. My father's wife is about 10 or 12 coffees a day, she has no problem to sleep at night. Her body is USED to it.
- I think Michael was more a SUGAR addict. But you know, sugar don't stay in your body. It's only "fast energy" and it doesn't keep you awake all night.

And last but not least. Someone said : why CocaCola and no Pepsi ? I would just answer : HAVE YOU EVER TASTED PEPSI  :?  :lol:

Just a thought regarding Coca Coca .... on twitter people have been looking at old Coca Cola advertising slogans from the 1970 and 1980's cant put a link at the moment cause I cant get on to twitter as its says too busy!  But there are a few very interesing coca cola slogans which also goes with the logo on MJs picture on this article, so is this a clue.  I think one slogan from memory from the 1970s is Coca Cola IS IT!  is it?

I drink 2 coffees in the morning to wake up.... and maybe...MAYBE a caffinated beverage throughout the day. I can not drink caffiene after a certain time cus then i wont be able to sleep.
Caffiene has no affect on some people at all, others stay away from it after a cretain time for fear of not being able to sleep.

As far as MJ being a coke addict?? I think not. BUT you never know. I highly HIGHLY doubt that MJ was that naive in thinking he could continue drinking pop, with the lights on and the TV going that he would sleep. That would drive me insane. I have to have complete quiet and dark when sleeping. But then he accidently ODs on Propofol because he got mad that he couldnt sleep?? HELLLOOO???

I think this story is BS in the highest degree.

Well, Coca Cola again .. and you can see that this walk very quietly, very casual, no fear of encountering any fan of Michael.

I don't think it's really such BS...

It's known he liked to sleep with the full lights on. And who in their right minds wants to use an operating room anesthetic given by IV to get to sleep?
Also, it's possible to develop a cafeine addiction. For instance, Robbie Williams was treated for it in a rehab clinic after his last tour.

We could easily say 'the doctor should have told him how to sleep", i.e. no lights on, no sound, no drinking before going to bed, no cafeine or stressfull activities right before bedtime, but it is well possible that Michael just did whatever he wanted and ignored all these advices. He wanted the lights on, he wanted sound around, he wanted an IV, he wanted propofol. Just like his spending habits. Want to buy a gold plated chair, want Mickey Mouse. Ofcourse it's the duty of a physician to say no, but on the other hand some patients can be very demanding.

It needs to be proven he was not able to administer it himself as the coroner ruled, otherwise  I'm concerned this is heading towards reasonable doubt.
