Sarah Jessica Parker Death Hoax

A fake blog mimicking Perez Hilton’s website announced that Sarah Jessica Parker had died in a car accident. This prank is the latest in a long line of hoaxes that seems to have escalated since Michael Jackson’s death.

The Internet has made hoaxes such as these incredibly easy to carry out. In the past couple of months along Jeff Goldblum, Kanye West and Miley Cyrus have all been falsely declared dead on Twitter.

The website Perezhiltononline.com was designed to look exactly like Perez Hilton’s hugely popular celebrity gossip site perezhilton.com. The false article read:

“The popular actress most renowned for her role as fashion icon Carrie Bradshaw on the HBO mega-hit 'Sex and the City' was killed this morning while vacationing in Los Angeles.”

A spokesperson for Parker has been able to confirm that she was not even in California at the time

i think its awful.. being a celeb.. yeah you have money but just look at this.. imagine if you was a teenage daughter of that person and it popped us why you was away with you girlfriends or whatever..  :shock:
