I'll never understand why people find this a big deal. These ads are generated based on not only what you are browsing at the moment (an article about MJ) but also uses you past browsing history to put up ads that could be relevant to you.

TMZ does not choose what ads show up.

And thank fuck for firefox and the ADBLOCK PLUS add-on. I don't even have to see all that dumb stuff while I browse.
