Im sitting here doing my homework and i have been watching/listening to Mtv in the backgroud and so far nothing on Mj..its been a couple of hours, maybe i missed it but so far i have seen:
aaliyah
easy e
big l
lost boys(freaky tah)
RUN DMC ( jam master jay)
biggie...he died on this date
dolla

i know he is not hip hop but his influence is there so he should be mentioned also and if i am wrong and someone sees/seen him my bad....lol

Wow interesting, Did they make any mention of 2pac?  I notice he wasn't on that list you mentioned either.

By chance is that list just for rappers? Or Hip hop?  I don't know some of those names but a few are familiar and they are all dealing with rap and hip hop.  That's my guess as to why Elvis and MJ wouldn't be on there.  But Tupac should be on there if that is the case.  We would need an update I guess.

they had aaliyah on there is she is not hip hop and when i watched i didnt see tupac..they could have showed him earlier but from the hours i seen he wasnt shown

and honestly i would still except to see mike on a hip hop list if aaliyah was on there because he has influenced all of black entertainment
