I've searched throught the board and I haven't found anything on this beautiful song.
I think Judith Hill's Tribute song is wonderful, but what strikes me is a special part of the lyrics:

they took the boxes off the stage
my heart was crushed in disarray
the world was frozen and engaged
to find the king had slipped away

Do you think it is a clue?

dunno

a clue? why do you think so?

While the people are heart broken and confused - The King slipped away...

Omg, I remember the first time I heard this song I broke down. I cried so hard. It's so beautiful. I listened to it on one of my doubtful days. In my opinion, that really isn't a clue. It kind of supports the...other theory

PublicEnemy, "slipped away" could mean just gone away/out of sight? Also the title of the song is it not in present tense "missing" rather than "miss"? I don't know as I have not heard the song. Maybe the words in the title go better than "I will always miss you"?

I checked up in the dictionary "slip away" and it says: leave furtively and stealthily  ;) www.dict.org
