Jermaine Jackson Gathers Prince and Justin Timberlake for Michael Jackson Tribute

Jermaine Jackson has apparently gathered an all-star cast, including Prince, Justin Timberlake and Santana to pay tribute to his late brother Michael Jackson at a show in June in London.

The Tribute By Jermaine show is expected to take place on June 8, 2010 at Wembley Arena in London.

Other participants include Shakira, Earth Wind and Fire, Usher, Nelson Mandela, Jennifer Hudson, Whitney Houston, Jabbawockeez, Seal, Neyo and a performance by the Jackson 5 with Janet Jackson.

“The best way and most suitable way is to assemble the world's largest tribute in history that is only fitting to a man who moved the hearts and souls of an unimaginable amount,” Jermaine said in a statement.

The show will be filmed with 12 HD cameras and air globally on June 25, 2010.

You would have thought they would call it something better than the "Tribute by Jermaine" show..  why does it have to have Jermaines name in the title, if its all for Michael?

I don't know....sounds like a perfect opportunity for BAMSday to me! The anniversary of his "death"? Are you kidding me? Especially when you look at this particular lineup of performers....with this happening at the end of June, maybe his Resurrection Tour will begin in July....remember, "See You In JULY!"?....just a thought with the L.O.V.E....

Hope this one ACTUALLY happens & these artists ACTUALLY are signed on to do it. Sounds like a good one   It better be SPECTACULAR since it's the only real tribute to MJ at all.

Yet again Jermaine has managed to turn something that is supposed to be about Michael into something all about him! Gosh Jermaine - narcissistic much? Maybe Micheal's name isn't used in the title due to legal reasons after all, isn't it a registered trade mark? I wonder if this tribute will go all the way   :|

ugh...he just gets on my last nerve...never made it big and now he's making like 'someone has to take michael's place' and be the 'director'...of all people?!?  bah! janet is the only one capable of even coming close, noone else! especially not jermaine or latoya. i'd rather see tito getting a shot at showing his skillz more, at least he's been gigging ever since the jacksons' split. yearh, right...'jermaine show'...how could i forget... :roll:
