Aww the black and white pic with MJ and Stephanie Mills is so cute.  She was his girlfriend and she was really in love with him.  She still says sweet things about him until this day.  She actually thought they were gonna get married.  She said he was cute in his little boxers and a good kisser.

I read an article that basically stated.....They never "dated". MJ was advised to take Stephanie out to that event, to "appease" his black fans....who may have had an issue with him always being seen with WHITE women.

Whatever the facts were....

I wouldn't blame her, if she DID develop a crush on him.

They dated.  She admitted it in an interview.  I think MJ has dated several black females but unfortunately the white females he dated were in the spot light with him more.  She would go to the apartment where he stayed in New York with Latoya and spend time with him.  I don't think she would lie about that.  So that article is false.  Here's a video with MJ and Stephanie.  Look at the body language between them:
