You know what.. Im totally lost with this doubles thing so tbh i couldnt care less anymore whether there are doubles in TII or not... for me its all Michael. If it makes no MAJOR difference to this then why bother analysing it.

Aside from how MJ looks in the different scenes I noticed something else.

I remember it because at the time I was thinking... all those years I thought he was in charge and here it seems that he is being pushed around...

So watch the movie, and notice that some scenes it is MJ in charge, and in others it seems like MJ is being told what to do.  So that is how you tell who is the double. =) IMO

Smooth criminal double looks a lot like Michael so maybe they used him for the rest of the movie, orange pants is not Michael he could barely dance and moved a little to feminine to be Mike in my opinion

Possibly, If a Double gives Direction to Anyone it is most likely Lip-Synced

I don't think a double would know how to give direction during a project of this magnitude.

That would be the equivilant to a cashier walking into a board room to fake the role of the CEO. IMO

I fully believe that doubles were used because Michael's father said that doubles were used.  It was his reason for not wanting to go see the film in the theatre, and it is his contention that Michael was not all the way up to snuff to complete these shows, and that this footage is an attempt to make it seem like he was ok to do those shows.

I remember seeing footage shown on TV of a Las Vegas home that MJ lived in before returning to CA. His father visited him there, and even then said he wasn't in perfect shape during that interview quite a while ago.

I believe that Michael's life was indeed threatened, and it would be perposterous to think that he would not react to that threat in some way.  In fact it is well documented that he left the country to live with that sheik in response to being double crossed and feeling like his life was in danger.

It doesn't seem reasonable to think that  he would come back to the US and simply be a sitting duck for these same people all over again...  IMO

about the dobles is very interesting he is wearing the same cloth I mean we can count it and sometimes the cloth is combined so we can say he was in the rehearsals a few days well the material edited for the movie he is with these clothes

i think that i saw in TII at the end that the double for smooth was the blonde dancer???
