In the series "The court of last resort", this episode is the number 7...and if i remember well there were 77 episodes and the srerie stopped in 1958 (not sure bout that last one tho) This was discussed in another thread

And Vaughn Taylor who plays Conrad Murray, played in "Cat on a Hot tin Roof" with elisabeth Taylor. But he also played in an old movie called "Thriller", in "This is it, Michael Shayne" , in "The Scarecrow", in "They call it murder", lend his voice to "Disneyland" and played in a  movie called "The wizard of baghdad".....http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0853299/

     Thriller, This is it, Liz Taylor and this number 7 everywere... helllooooo???? This CAN'T be a coincidence - it's blowing from the chair! I have read it but see it black on white - boah. Thanks for the link :)

Did he hoax before, I don't know. But I remember he said many years before that he would do it, in case of need (the death hoax).

Good point with blankets mother - yes it would be possible to keep things secret. How many people you need for a hoax - I think much less than we think... the less, the better. But Murray, if it is a hoax, is definitely IN THE HOAX.

first i have not seen the film that your refer to, thus i am speaking blind having only looked at the thread.

i do not believe that CM (mike's doctor) is an imposter/actor to make the screen play a reality show, i do not believe that mike would want to continuously remind the public of the non-mol allegations, the pay off or the court case, the press always bring it up even though he was found innocent and the fbi files show likewise.

i would have thought mike would want to perpetuate other things about his personality, career and thoughts for the future.

those allegation brought him down, but he handled it with amazing courage and strength, and his depth of character is amazing. he never once said an ill word or hit back or let himself down. his actions in adversity were a bench mark. a man that does not hide, that stands up and takes it, a man that shows his human side and still cares for those around him even when he is facing  his darkest moment - what i call a true man

since you kindly asked - and maybe this is off thread, but i dont believe in the numbers thing - just me i suppose.

they say  that if you are going to lie /hoax - it should be the closest to the truth.

the truth they say or have i got this wrong can be stranger than fantasy or you couldnt make this up????

thus i feel that if this is a hoax it is probably something simple that we have already thought about, an opportunity came about - not much thought went into it and the job done, its the aftermath that probably was not expected

Does anybody knows if "the court of last resort" based on real cases or was it just fiction?

Perhaps Michael doesn't even know Blankets mother.  If he was conceived by artificial insemination, then Michael would only know the vitals, such as health, education, ethnic background, etc.  And if he doesn't know then there is no secret to keep.

In the old Conrad Murray film the newspaper prejudges Murray and refuses to even listen to the case that the parole board brings.  Ten years earlier the newspaper had prevented Murray from being paroled and now they are doing the same thing when his parole is brought up again.  Even the son of the two murder victims realizes that Murray is rehabilitated and doesn't want to fight the parole.  But the newspaper refuses to listen to any reason whatsoever and continues to prejudge.  So it seems the newspaper is the modern day press that did the same thing in the Michael Jackson trial.    :geek:

michael s a genius he doesnt do simple ...if michael is going to do something ofcourse its going to be complex.

I disagree. I think we tend to make things more complicated than they are in general.

Look at all the people that cannot see the basic SIMPLE, PLAIN AS DAY, clues that are everywhere.

THAT is why Michael is a genius. He knows about these flaws in our nature and has planned accordingly.

What you have just witnessed could be the end of a particularly terrifying nightmare. It isn't. It's the beginning.
