Venus7, I remember this eighties classic.  :lol:    Jermaine does seem to get a hard time from a lot of posters. He lived his life his way. It's not for us to be judgemental. JJ seems to be a "reformed character" now and has maybe grown up.

If the 4 of them going to tour then yes, he can be the leadsinger. Jermaine CAN sing and he was the leadsinger before Michael joined them when they were kids.

Well...I don't see that he is using MJ. To me is seems logical if after MJ's death(or "death") he wants to keep his brother's legacy in the ways they can do it. And the ways they can do it-is trough the music, IMO.

Regarding to the succes of Jackson 5, they all had their share in the succes. Not just Michael.
They all made Jackson 5 as big as it is, to me all 5 (or 6) of them are legends.
So if Jermaine talks about how THEY made J5 so succesfull, he's right!

Besides that I don't see Jermaine trying to level his brother. He's just keeping Michael's name clean as it is. All I see him do is standing up for his brother as a brother should do.

As for the hoax, I think Jermaine has a prominent role in this hoax because Michael wanted to.

It doesn't make sence anyway, because Jermaine is not launching his solo career, he and his brothers just want to keep Michael's legacy by returning as J5 where Michael started his career and became succesfull.

Venus7, I don't have a problem with Jermaine and his desire to head the Jackson 5 brothers. But some posters have a dislike for JJ ways. I think it is a role JJ is playing and that's fine by me. Jackson is JJ's  family name too. Some people do think that JJ is benefiting from MJ's legacy.
