Why couldn't MJ smell?

It's not Michael in this autopsy there is no way he could rehearse with all these things going on, he wouldn't even get out of bed with all these things going on just my opinon though, keep believing guys nobody said it would be easy

Well, King Michael, I did not refer to the autopsy report at all ....  everyhing is well documented over the years and everybody should have known (although he used to play it down a bit because of image and - most important - insurance reasons ...).

I left out severe bone frctures (back, leg, foot/ancle), panic attacks, dehydrations, spider-bytes ...

He deserves more than RESPECT for all his sufferings ....

Depends where you are in the World.  Everywhere else i could find on the net i had to buy from USA which made it more expensive.

I will have to try Black Orchid some time.

Well, "smell" and "breath" are two different things. You can perfectly breath and don't smell things when you have a damage in nerves that takes odors from the nose to the brain, or a damage in the brain's area responsible for recognizing odors: you are going to keep breathing, but you'll can't smell anymore.

You can breath through your nose every time when its not obstructed, it doesn't matter whether you can smell or not. Hope it helps!

You can lose the sense of smell and still be able to breath, My grandfather could not smell because of something that happened in the war and we had a hell of a job getting him to eat because it was just like mush to him no fun at all for him.

Sorry, but it is more than likely that you lose your sense of smell when you`ve got - even minor - nose operations. MJ has got more than one  ....  therefore this has nothing to do with the autopsy report.  

And it is no secret that he did not care for food at all, like mumof3wrote, that might be the reason - more than plausible.

And yes, he had difficult  health issues, indeed. One might not like but can`t deny it.

In aniother article the nurse stated that Mj loved Black Orchid cologne, so so much for the could'nt smell lie.  It is just one contradiction after another.  So many players and so many lies.

I saw once a time e small documentary showing that MJ really had smelling problems. This video shows MJ and Karen Fary playing a parfum war inside his SUV. And he explained that he almost couldn´t fell smells because of one of his nose jobs.

But I don´t remember seeing this in the autopsy relatory.
