America's capital, Washington D.C., is full of breathtaking landmarks, monuments and memorials; now, at least one person wants to give it a thriller.

Jermaine Jackson was snapped outside of a swanky restaurant in the District on Wednesday, and cameramen asked the brother of the late King of Pop about a possible meeting with President Barack Obama.

When asked what the purpose of the meeting would be, Jermaine, 55, said he was going to see about getting "a monument for Michael" erected.

Now this is extremely interesting. He is there for another purpose in my eyes. Maybe I am reading way to much into it (but for the hoax's sake), they could be discussing Mike's next move and it's impact. Who knows. But, why ask Obama to erect a monument. Obama had to be practically coaxed into commenting on Mike's "supposed death". Which, in itself, to me was a clue. He had to be asked to make a comment. Obama is a big fan and then all of sudden there was no comment about the situation. You just don't ignore the death of an American Icon - you know what I mean? And these were the questions that were presented to Obama at the time. They wondered why he didn't say anything until asked.

That is why I feel this meeting ( if it happens or is for real) has another purpose. I don't think we have a monument for Elvis, do we?   If there isn't one for Elvis, there won't be one for Michael. So him saying that does not make sense.

Does Jermaine now have bodyguards like Michael? Someone says "Don't touch Jermaine". He must be loving all the camera action and causing a stir.

President Obama did,nt make any comment on MJS death personally, you might like to read this which I posted on my own forum.

You will need to read the whole thing, but I have highlighted the fact that it was the Whitehouse Press Secretary that spoke for Obama and hes pretty vague is,nt he?

Please read all the post above, but take note of what I have printed below.

Exchanges between
reporters and White House Press Secretary Robert Gibbs on Michael
Jackson, June 26, 2009:

QUESTION: OK, I will ask. The president has talked a lot about his
love of music. He hosted Stevie Wonder here. He has talked a great deal
about what's on his iPod to Rolling Stone magazine. Well, what's his
reaction to the death of Michael Jackson?

GIBBS: I talked to him about it this morning. Look, he said to me
that obviously Michael Jackson was a spectacular performer, a music
icon. I think everybody remembers hearing his songs, watching him
"moonwalk" on television during Motown's 25th anniversary.
But the president also said, look, he had -- aspects of his life were
sad and tragic. And his condolences went out to the Jackson family and
to fans that mourned his loss.

Q: Why not a written statement, then?

GIBBS: Because I just said it.

Q: And you say he did send condolences to the family. Did he call the
family personally?

GIBBS: Not that I know of. . . .

Q: Robert, I wondered if you knew if the president had ever met
Michael Jackson in person, or if Mrs. Obama had
ever met Michael Jackson?

GIBBS: He did not -- he did not tell me that he had. I can certainly
check. I do not believe -- I do not believe they have. . . .

Q: Robert, back on Michael Jackson. Understanding that many people
viewed him as a complicated mix, you still had other world leaders come
out with written statements on Michael Jackson -- to include a leader
here in the United States, Arnold Schwarzenegger, written statement; Nelson
Mandela, others.
Why not issue a written statement for a man who has come to this
White House, visited other presidents, been honored by other presidents
for his humanitarian efforts? He also worked with the Democratic Party,
which this president is the head of, helped fund-raise. Why not a
written statement?

GIBBS: I thought I did a pretty good job.

Just thought I would mention that  if you read up Wikepedia and information about Arnold Swarzeneggar you will find that one of his aeroplanes had a few difficulties and had to land in VAN NUYS AIRPORT - I think that was around 19th of June. Looking up Van Nuys Airport you will find that its not for commercial airlines. In fact it is mostly for people with Private planes etc its all in google.

 OMG, the family will live in the shadow of Mike and not fighting to get justice for him, which would only and is more prudent to take advantage of his death to appear and make money? Randy and Jermaine a year ago only make travel and appear in the media at the expense of Michael ... Or, well, if Mike is alive why seek another monument with the federal government? So he's dead and we are just blind to the facts? I confess that I'm really losing faith ... :(  :?:

I'm gaining more and more faith by the day. I'm really feeling that Michael is multiple players in this, people we don't expect him to be. I think he is using his disguises to the max this time around and we may all just be amazed when it all comes to light.

If he's even meeting with Obama. This is a tabloid-esque type site and it sounds like Jermaine is saying he would like a monument to Michael in Washington or whatever but that does not mean it would have to have a death date on it to give credit to Michael for being a great person etc....and I don't hold much credibility in this bit unless I see it on a more professional news site or from the same type of source. More goofy off the wall news if you ask me.
