Yes I believe it is a message from Mike even tho it was recorded back in wat the 80's I believe he still could have went back and did the parts like John Lennon did with the song I think "I am the Walrus" and when u backmasked the song he said "Paul is Dead"
And that's why they started to  believe Paul Mccartney was dead and a body double took over his life or whatever :| But I believe in this message and it says so much :D :D :D

so you believe Paul is really dead?

I honestly don't no i wouldn't think so that was proved to be just another hoax also but here's the article on Wikipedia about it
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Paul_is_dead#History  :D
And here is a topic on it on the forum :D

Sun comes up on this new morning
Shifting shadows, a songbird sings
And if you feel alone, I'll be your shoulder
With a tender touch, you know me so well
Somebody once said, it's the soul that matters
Baby, who can really tell when two hearts belong so well

Even though everybody thinks the song is too old for being a clue I believe it's not a coincidence... I can clearly hear a message when it's backmasked too. But this is just what I think.
I got to this conclusion because This Is It was wrote on 80's BUT the lyrics were not published until a week after Michael's "death", right?  We didn't really know how it originally sound. The song was obviously re recorded as we can hear Michael's voice way different from how it was back on 80's, so what if he recenlty edited it?
You can notice it makes little sense when you play it normally, it has nothing to do with saving the planet and neither with his very last comeback tour. So why would he choose this song rather than writing another or just picking any song more related to the purpose of the show?

Two possible reasons:

A) Because it was destined to be played backmasked so we can listen to MJ's message about the hoax.

B) He just liked that song and that's all. You hear what you want to hear.

I guess this backmasked thing is up to each of us :?

I´ve never believed in that messages in song backmasked.... but after hearing this.... it´s not like a word or too.... it´s like you said before.... it´s all the song!! and very clear.... so I did some research....

I´ve always thought that was how you hear the song backward.... but I found out in internet... that is not.... the messages could be taped over the backward song....

this is from wikipedia

Artists often use backmasking of sounds or instrumental audio to produce interesting sound effects.[35][53] One such sound effect is the reverse echo. When done on tape, such use of backmasking is known as reverse tape effects. One example is Matthew Sweet's 1999 album In Reverse, which includes reversed guitar parts which were played directly onto a tape running in reverse.[54] For live concerts, the guitar parts were played live on stage using a backward emulator.[55]

A common use of backmasking is hiding a comedic or parodical message backwards in a song.
Pink Floyd dropped a backmasked message into "Empty Spaces", from 1979's The Wall:
-... Congratulations. You have just discovered the secret message. Please send your answer to Old Pink, care of the Funny Farm, Chalfont...
-Roger! Carolyne's on the phone!
-Okay.

So I think he could have done it this year.... for us..... :D
