the bail don't fit the crime!
February 09, 2010, 03:49:10 PM
In 2005, Michael Jackson's bail was set at $3 million dollars for an inappropriate act (molestation).  Conrad Murray has taken a life, and his bail is set at only $75,000 dollars.  How can the judical system say that Conrad's bail fit his crime?

It's almost as if they're blatantly either giving us clues or trying to see if anyone will pick up on it. Although if anything, this shows how individuals are brainwashed by the media that they can't pick up anything even if it's in their face.

Another thing to point out is why is only CNN covering this? Why isn't MSNBC, Fox News, or other news stations handling this? You'd think that with this "trial" on the horizon this would be big news and people would want to get their ratings, money, and money shots depending on how the verdict goes.

I only know this from taking Criminal Law and Family Law college courses... But we learned that when the accusation has to do w/ a minor, the $ bail amount tends to go sky high.  Not saying I agree with it, b/c it is a crock. And well, so is our "justice system"  But yeah, if it were anyone but MJ or someone equally rich, i'm sure the bail would've been much lower than $3 mill.

It's hard to believe that $75K for Inv. Mans. is 3x the normal bail amount.  srsly???

What you have just witnessed could be the end of a particularly terrifying nightmare.  It isn’t. It’s the beginning....

childmolestation is a bigger crime than accedently killing somebody...
If it was not Michael, I´m sure most of you would rais the bail for a suspected childmolestor...
(I'm not saying he was a childmolestor, but just pointing out the differences in the case and how a judge must be impartial per crime note that the judge is not a Michael Jackson fan but sees him as another citizen)

"accidently killing someone"???  Wtf???

Sorry.. but a murder and a child molester are on the same par for me.. both pose the same danger to the public.

Apart from that..   Murray is still allowed to practice medicine which is so absurd.

And Michael was innocent..  i know Murray is innocent until proven guilty....  but i see the comparison you are trying to make and i dont agree that one crime is more serious than the other.

Its based on earnings...  MJ had a bigger bail because of his earnings.  He was far richer than Murray.
