So I don't get it.

To me it's like this:

1. The note was written back then  - so has nothing to do with the hoax - it was describing a circumstance existing at that very moment (Mike very tired, couldn't sleep, felt he needed to take care of his health and BTW expressing his love to Lisa, proving he loved her very much, in spite of many fans who believed the opposite).

2. The note was written now for the hoax and presented as old.

I think the 1st is true, I still think he had trouble sleeping and it was not only because over-work on projects, but also because he had difficulties relaxing and detaching himself from the worries of the work-day.

I also have to admit the handwriting is very similar with the one in Front's notes, especially the "TR" letters, and also the "of".

Right, MaryK, that's so much more keeping the spirit than infected discussions - OK, easy for me to say after just one year of 'forum-ing'. Additional to your smart thoughts about group-dynamics there is also a time aspect, no wonder if some feel very frustrated and can't see the forest for the trees. It's just ennoying that Souza has to take it all - as if she were personally responsible for people's feelings. I have no doubt she'll be back  - full-blood hoaxer she is - after a well-deserved break.

At this place a 'Happy-First-Birthday-Wishes-For-'Forum-Front' was supposed to be with a beautiful BIG SUNFLOWER was supposed to be....but picturepostingproblems....
