Quote from: Front on May 06, 2012, 08:40:34 PMGod came to me in another form
He said "it's not black or white or the norm"
He looked at me and took my hand
He said "come with me to the Promised Land"
I saw the children fly out of the Heavens
wings spread wide like a vast blue tide
He rose above me
leaving me to stand
on my own two feet
but I'm just a man
my legs grow weak
my soul grows weary
but visions are then revealed through the haze
with His love I see clearly
I remember those days
of anguish and pain
drowning my spirit
like a monsoon rain
my cries washed away
no voice escaped
no one heard
no one admitted their mistake
but He was there
He witnessed it all
He was my believer
and He answered my call
P.S. My dear friends,
just as you believe in Michael, he too believes in you
take these words to heart
for they are sincere and true.
beLIEve that!
heart 2 heart.......
Promise.
Dear Front, I haven't much to offer right now, only my appreciation and a big thank you for these beautiful words....
I do feel however, that there was an answer from God to your prayers, because I now understand that's what you asked for in 'Will you be there':
In our darkest hour
In my deepest despair
Will you still care?
Will you be there? (BUT HE WAS THERE / HE ANWERED MY CALL)
In my trials
And my tribulations (HE WITNESSED IT ALL)
Through our doubts
And frustrations
In my violence
In my turbulence
Through my fear
And my confessions
In my anguish and my pain
Through my joy and my sorrow
In the promise of another tomorrow
I'll never let you part
For you're always in my heart.
To me, it feels like a plea to God, to be there for you whatever happens. And I hope and feel He 'answered' your prayers. :icon_e_smile:
Come to think of it, I believe you wrote a lot about your prayers to and interaction with God in your lyrics, but I didn't understand....
Everyday I sit and ask myself
How did love slip away
Something whispers in my ear and says
That you are not alone
I am here with you
Though you're far away
I am here to stay
But you are not alone
I am here with you
Though we're far apart
You're always in my heart
But you are not alone
He doesn't know what to say, so he prays
Whatever, whatever, whatever
Whatever happens, don't let go of my hand
Whatever happens, don't let go of my hand
Whatever happens, don't you let go of my hand

In your poem: "but visions are then revealed through the haze"
When I read this, I immediately thought of the vision Murray had. I don't know why, but it after watching that documentary, I always felt Murray was telling a part of Michaels story, one that he maybe didn't want to tell himself.

Also I want to thank everyone for their beautiful posts, I read every one of them every day but I'm not such a poster myself, doesn't mean I don't appreciate yours! Thanks!
Oh and another thing (and then I stop writing I promise!!)
Several pages back I posted a link but that one was invalid.
It's a very uplifting song about our Love/Hoax train, and pay attention because on 1:30 you see our Front, keeping us on track and around 2:22: Yeah, it's a real Thriller-hoax!
