MJ house - no phones

This is probably old news, but Ed Chernoff - Murray's lawyer - said there were no phones working in the house for security reasons. So how could the family contact MJ? Did MJ have a cell phone? Video below.

Well..  Doctor Murray had a cell phone because he was on the phone for 45 minutes!!!

For security reasons? Strange, because not having a phone is not safe either. The only explanation is that he had a cell phone, would he contact people only by Internet or personally?  :?

So if MJ had a cell phone, and family could ring him, how come they are saying that they were kept away from MJ. MJ would know if they had called his cell phone. Did he choose to ignore them then?

Cell phones can intercept signals.  If they had them removed that speaks volumes.
