Maybe he was preparing to send off Michael at the airport ?
The airport got blocked(or something happened I don't remember what exactly , but one of our topics talk about it) right , the 25th of June ?Maybe to let "someone" run away  :D

He had loaned a car and was driving around in LA, I think he was making calls though the three calls he did when Michael was in a cardiac arrest would have been enough If you ask me.
