Dr. Conrad Murray -- The Britney Connection

Dr. Conrad Murray just hired a brand new Hollywood lawyer to defend him against expected criminal charges in the death of Michael Jackson -- and his new legal eagle once got Britney Spears off the hook.


As TMZ first reported, the LAPD is preparing to present the case against Murray to the L.A. District Attorney in a matter of weeks, so it's no coincidence that Murray lawyered up with J. Michael Flanagan -- a guy who repped Britney in a 2007 hit and run case.

Flanagan managed to get the charge dismissed in the Britney case -- we're guessing he's going to have a tougher time with Doc Murray.

Really?    :shock:  :shock:  Why is he hiring the special agent that's in charge of the DEA office that raided his house? Why him? Who's going to pay him when Murray's broke? I don't get it... :?

I have had this thought about Murray floating around in my head for a long time.. What if Murray really did intend to kill Michael.. he was hired by Sony/AEG ... but Michael survived..but Murray doesn't know he did... and the investigation really is about Murray and whoever is behind Murray? It would explain why the DEA became involved..

That makes sense to me, in fact i've been hanging my hope on "Murder by contract" scenario for a while now. That could be a major conspiracy revealed within this case (music industry mob, leeches, shady doctors etc)! But would the same system that brought MJ down 4 years ago be helping him now? And would the family go so public (all the shows and appearances) if there was truly an undercover deal involved?  :?

perhaps.. especially if your dealing with such powerful people .. the family has to make it as authentic as possible..

The murder for hire has been creeping into my mind for the past couple of days.. yesterday I was thinking .. could it be possible that Evan Chandler hired Murray or someone to kill Michael, because Evan's own greed destroyed his family, all he had left was money and no family. He was perhaps dying, and had nothing to lose and then killed himself over what he had orchestrated?
