So he actually says "or whatever it is" and "bathe"?

Yeah, I watched the DVD rip of it and he says that. Bathe also means to linger (or SIMMER). Like he "bathes" in the pool of light, or maybe he lingers for a little bit before he comes back.

And he also says "or whatever it is" when he says "I'll button my shirt...or jacket, or whatever it is. By "whatever it is," he likely means whatever he'll be wearing when performing that song during the tour. It could also mean he is going through the motions of executing the hoax. "Whatever it is" could hypothetically be telling us to expect the unexpected (with things involving the hoax).

1. Let me bathe in my own time, when I come back in = Let him take his time to come back. Or it could also mean that when he comes back, give him time to tell us WHY he did it...why he faked his death....why it HAD to happen.
2. I'm gonna look around a little bit, play with them = He supplies us with the clues (plays with us). He examines how the world has reacted to his death and how we react to the clues.
3. Snap my fingers maybe, then BAM = He continues to "play with us" (supply us with clues) and then finally (if we are ready, thus the "maybe") he comes back.
