They still do it. I have a neighbor who comes by, only on the holidays, and speaks to my family. She's a nice person. She said this past Thanksgiving that she was wondering if we thought that everyone should give thanks every day not just on Thanksgiving day.

she has a good point. we don't even make that the focus of  Thanksgiving i am afraid. food and football.
i saw this rabbi not too long ago and they give thanks at the end of the meal . he said something about at the end you were actually more thankful when in the beginning you were in too big a hurry to dig in. he also mentioned thanking for tasted buds which got my attention cause when i give the thanks i very often do that. unfortunatly my little family has sort of gotten away from family time at the table . humm maybe i need to get back on that one.

yes, they do. My husband made friends with one elder who was witnessing and now comes and does bible study with my hubby every Sunday, despite my husband having told him he will not convert.  Still, really nice guy - I quite enjoy talking to him.  And he always comments on my Opus on the coffee table. LOL.

Anyway...yeah, I think we need to be fair and friendly to guests.  One never knows who will drop by.

If someone has something to say, s/he writes it down. Nobody needs to ask him to write to try us if we believe him or not and nobody needs to create a "mysterious person" image. No need to be compelling and gullible and no need to get a couple of accounts if you are serious about getting on a hoax forum and have got things to say. If you have something to say, go and say it. Nobody is stopping you. But if you find people judgemental it is because of your efforts to create a mysterious person image. You do not need to tell anyone who you really are but if you got an account (well actually two for whatever reason), write whatever it is on your mind. No need to wait for people to ask you who you are or if they would believe you or not. If you have something to share, go ahead and share it. If you want to read the forum only, go and read it but there's no need to create confusion on the forum and confuse some of the people.
