Quincy Jones
SUES MICHAEL JACKSON PRODUCTIONS

You're Ripping Me Off Royally

Quincy Jones says he's been double-crossed by Sony and Michael Jackson Productions (aka MJJ) ... claiming the 2 companies intentionally aced him out of his cut of Michael's music.

Jones has sued MJJ Productions and Sony ... claiming he owns a big chunk of "Off the Wall," "Thriller" and "Bad" because he produced all of them.  Jones claims Sony and MJJ concocted a scheme to edit and remix the original songs and put them into new ventures such as the "This Is It" movie, the Cirque du Soleil stage show and the 25th Anniversary of the "Bad" album and then deny him royalties.

The allegations are even worse.  Jones says MJJ and Sony created a shell game and diverted millions of bucks away from what is rightfully his.

Howard Weitzman, lawyer for the Michael Jackson Estate, tells TMZ, "The Estate of Michael Jackson was saddened to learn that Quincy Jones has filed a lawsuit seeking money from Michael's Estate.  To the best of our knowledge, Mr. Jones has been appropriately compensated over approximately 35 years for his work with Michael."

Jones wants $10 mil minimum.

Much Peace and Love to everyone.

I find the use of the term 'ROYALLY' quite interesting.   Of course the story is made up, but I guess they have to keep reminding people that Michael's 'legend' lives on... and on... and on.  Even in DEATH.  Perhaps the entire hoax cast will be making a brief appearance in the news, at least, just before the finale.   :)

Quincy's lawyer is Henry Gradstein, who is also Wade Robson's lawyer. Coincidence?

More on QJ's case, and mention of Gradstein, here:

And this old TMZ article makes the connection of Gradstein to Robson:

http://www.michaeljacksonhoaxforum.com/forum/index.php/topic,23869.msg441506.html#msg441506

As does this LinkedIn page which says Gradstein's firm (Gradstein and Marzano) deals with entertainment, intellectual property and complex business litigation, and has Robson in the list of current cases:

Any ideas why such a law firm could legitimately be dealing with a claim of childhood sexual abuse, or am I right to be smelling a rat here?

What nonsense  :icon_e_confused:  :icon_lol:. Producers don't own the songs. Did he write them  :icon_question:? Songwriters are the ones who own the songs. The Demos are on youtube for the songs that he created before Quincy even got his hands on them  :michael_jackson-1135:.

This is through all the bullshit, the AEG trial, Wade's lying ass, and other frivilious crap. MJ ONE is the top selling attraction in Vegas with all the mess. The Ohio State Marching band just gave a tribute to MJ after the AEG trial and Katherine not winning, yet the tribute has close to 7 million views with the love for MJ being shown.

His estate will be just fine.......and Michael also  :icon_e_wink:  :bearhug: .
