I've been trying to find some links that will be streaming the WMA's.  All I can find is that there are several mentions on google results that say it will be on UStream at 8pm.  But I can't find any reference to it on the UStream website. 

We know that 11:11 was/is important, along with all the other numbers/dates/times throughout this adventure.  I just did a quick search on my tv listings to see if the awards are 2 or 3 hours long (they always tend to go a bit over-time...so if they are 3 hours, they might still be on at 11:11 pm lol) but I can't even find a listing for them on any channel  :over-react-smiley:

I made a close up screen shot...

It is a bit  hard to tell.....but looking at your close up pic compared to the video of MJ performing in 1996 at the World Music Awards (posted in the Front thread :  You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login ), his hair is longer in 1996 than what this pic looks like...and I agree what that poster said on the Facebook about the size of the crack in the world relative to where MJ is standing does not seem to match with the video from 1996 either.

If it is a recent picture of Michael he's definitely looking pretty damn fine !   :icon_bounce:

I hope he doesnt com back on a stupid music award show, that would be a the lamest comeback ever! He made comeback on the stage many of times, now its time to do something different. Well, he'll BAM in a way which he thinks is the most appropriate...we don't really have a say in this, imo...though I kinda agree with you...

Coming back on a music award show would emphasize that he still is involved in the music industry, which is not what the hoax is about. I don't think it would really bring out the 'social cause' and 'social awareness' aspect of the hoax. The medium of BAM does matter, IMO.

If Michael BAMS in an award show, the general public would again start judging Michael and claim that he is a cheater and he fooled his own fans. If this hoax is a sting on media and the general public (which it definitely is!), the BAM should leave the audience in a desire to know more, and in a state of alarm which would lead to introspection.
Now, if award show is the medium of comeback, then i don't how it's all gonna unfold....there are certain things going on in my mind right now:

1) Michael and other celebrities warn people/audience about TPTB .

2) Michael himself is with TPTB <--- (which i don't think is possible)

Oh Sim I'm so pissed off right now I could just scream!
I finally spent all day yesterday catching up and weeding out 88 emails because I haven't been on the computer for over a week. Today was my day to catch up on reading the forum and post, but my husband decided to change computers and hasn't switched any of my files, Notes emails or anything over to the other computer so I'm stuck having to do all this on my smart ass phone s damn impossible!! It's true...everything has to be gradual. Events must raise suspicion in people's minds and then must let them investigate themselves. But BAMing on Music award show only makes me think of these two possibilities. What else must be the reason? If MJ's comeback happens in a straight-forward manner with a musical performance...there will be least public acceptance. Or Michael would appear on stage and give a long speech? this doesn't seem plausible to me.

What I want to say is that I don't think the BAM will happen in an award show and that's why maybe not on 22nd....   :icon_e_confused:

TORONTO - Organizers have pulled the plug on the World Music Awards (WMAs), which were scheduled to be staged Saturday in Miami.

Several Canadians, including Justin Bieber, Drake and deadmau5 were nominated for the WMAs.

Producers announced Thursday the show won't go on as planned at Marlins Park Stadium.

"We are sorry for any inconvenience but this decision had to be made due to logistical and multiple visa issues and in view of this week's national mourning," reads a statement. "Fans have been a great support to the artists and have voted online in huge numbers."

Canadian nominees also included Carly Rae Jepsen, Nickelback, Bryan Adams and Michael Buble.

News that the WMAs were moving to Miami came just weeks before the show, raising eyebrows in the music industry. Organizers also started selling tickets without announcing any performers or presenters.

A press release issued on December 13 said the WMAs would raise funds for Superstorm Sandy victims in Haiti and "be beamed to 180 countries reaching a billion viewers." It also implied Jennifer Lopez would attend -- even though she will be performing a sold-out concert in Puerto Rico on the night of the WMAs.

"Jennifer Lopez has already confirmed her support for the cause and will receive a special World Music Award," read the release, "and also enter into the Guinness World Records for having the Most Viewed Female Video of All Time."

The same press release stated Tony Bennett would perform a Latin duet with a surprise guest on the WMAs and other guests would include Gloria Estefan, Italian pop star Tiziano Ferro and Chinese superstar Han Geng.

Contacted by Global News on Tuesday, the WMAs Miami-based publicist Brandi Kolosky said the show's "major talent" would be announced "just 2-3 days leading up to the ceremony."

The WMAs were staged annually at the Casino d'Monte Carlo from 1989 to 2003 before moving to Las Vegas, Los Angeles, London and Cote d'Azur. They returned to Monte Carlo in 2008 and 2010 but were not held in 2009 or 2011. Mariah Carey holds the record for the most WMAs, earning 17. Celine Dion was honoured with the Chopard Diamond Award in 2004.
