Who exactly is this asshole?  And what trash can be found on him.  This calls for war. 

This asshole is like all the other assholes before him...the kind whose only hope for making a buck is by trashing Mike.  Pathetic, disgusting and sad.  Any asshole can write a book, that's been proven many, many times.  BUT...that doesn't mean 'we' have to buy it, read it, talk about it or give it one ounce of our energy....ALL of which just feeds their negativity, their egos and their bank accounts.  That is how these 'wars' are won...refuse to take ANY part in helping 'them' fulfill 'their' twisted needs.  We can choose to go off and 'dig up' whatever dirt we can find on these losers...and we can choose to post and discuss all the trash that spews from their mouths and/or fingers...but, in doing so, we are actively choosing to engage in negativity.  Just listening to this garbage or reading it or thinking about it...shifts your mental state to one of negativity.  And in doing so, 'they' are fed.

Sometimes non-action sends the loudest message.

There have also been several times when fans did enough protesting of a book didn’t make it pass go.  Also when t.v. shows chose to air the messenger and being hit where it hurt, i.e. in the pocketbook by boycotting the advertisers, much did get done.  Sometimes taking the passive approach doesn’t get much done.  This book needs and the t.v. shows choosing to parade it needs to be sent a message and boycotted.  This kind of manuscript puts the efforts everyone has put forward to end trashing Michael’s name and image back 3 years at least.

@hes...I agree about the hard work and dedication many have put in to help stop this trash...their time and effort should always be applauded.  However, it is a 'band-aid' fix...while it may stop the trash of the moment, there is always more trash to follow.  And it will keep on coming as long as there are people who read it, watch it, and/or discuss it....either in support or in opposition. 

IMO, focusing one's time and energy on highlighting who Mike is and always has been...produces more positive (and lasting) results than focusing on who he isn't and never was.

I don't believe michael Hid in his closet but I do believe his family did remind him that he made it because of the jackson 5 and the jacksons... it's even stated in these lyrics.. Jermain wrote the song out of frustration the very fact he wrong them shows he clearly thinks that way.

Well maybe if facts were taken into account rather than just "fans" points of view with no facts, then they wouldn't need to be discussed, Why is this thread even posted if facts are not to be added?

Edit: Further more, I don't think it's doing Michael Any justice by ignoring the truth behind it. What if he was hounded by his family for money, what if it was something else he had to deal with, what if his sitting here watching all you people call it rubbish that it never happened? Facts are facts no matter if people want to accept them or not, it doesn't make them untrue because they want to close their eyes and cover their ears and try and ignore it.. isn't that what people have been doing all these years about him? except it was about the bad media crap againt him.. they refused to listen to the truth about his medical conditions or anything else because they wanted to think what they wanted to think of him... isn't this any different? it's just on the other side of the coin, that is all.. I think that if people really going to investigate then there should be openness for all possibilities. I don't think I can learn anymore about the hoax here anymore.

Wow, I have never heard this before......sort of a strong message, to say the least.  I still contend families are families and when all is said and done, love is stronger than anything.  However, this is a very hurtful song.  Words can cut like a knife.  They may not break a person, but they can do injury and cause as much pain as anything.  I'd love to hear Jermaine's response to this song now.  I do think the Jackson 5 was the catalyst for Michael's stardom.  Would he have shot to the moon and back without them....we will never know.  I have learned enough about Michael as a person though.  Something tells me he would have become the megastar anyway....it was his calling, his destiny.  The Jackson 5 have their place in history.  A ground-breaking, Earth-shattering group that focused on the new sounds of the day.  We can turn it around too....would they have been as successful without a little boy named Michael?  I think so.  Individual lives, one family....nothing but love in the end.  Thanks for the post leilani81......it's really interesting for sure.

What I wanted to say is that brothers should not talk about their problems in public , especially when both of them are celebrities. That's what I meant with "family business". May be Jermaine was frustrated and angry about Michael in any way. It's his right. It's his brother. But involving the media and the fans in such a way was inappropriate. And as Wishingstar said, they are brothers after all. They can fight with each other and after a while they forget  everything. But for the media and for the fans they are rivals for ever. Feeding the media with such news and even emphasizing it in an interview was a mistake from Jermaine in my opinion. Look at all the comments under this video on youtube. Some of them are very negative. Well, it was Jermaine who gave them the opportunity to write such stuff.
And as far as we are concerned I don't think it is our right to dig deeper and investigate such problems. May be we would discover even more stuff that could create more confusion. Again, these are family problems that no one should know about. We are here to investigate the death hoax of Michael not his family problems. No one would want people to talk about his family problems in public. Since we cannot know what is right and what is wrong and since most of us agree that the best thing to do is to ignore this book, I suggest we lock this thread. I don't know if you agree with me guys!!

A while back I read that MJ was more interested in how the song Jermaine wrote was going to hurt him Jermaine, not MJ.  He took him privately pleading with him to not do this because of the backlash which would happen against Jermaine, and probably did hurt his career. But he wouldn't listen, and MJ's words came true.  I don't think that his siblings feel those same negative things now, but truly love Michael, and realize the great price of fame and uniqueness is a heavy load to bear. Perhaps now they realize some of the special qualities that MJ had, that set him apart, were God-given, and now just want to support and honor him. Does anyone remember which interview or place to find MJ saying that?

Wishingstar, I would have to respectfully disagree that the Jackson 5, right from the start when Michael joined, everyone including Ed Sullivan, and Berry Gordy, talked of the little fellow who could really sing and had such energy. He was the lead singer, who always received most of the focus.  But it's still true that Joe and the Jackson 5 group was the vehicle to bring MJ to the public, and they are his forever family, his roots, who he will always love.  And I do like each of MJ's siblings and other extended members and appreciate each of them for their personalities and giftings, especially as we've seen them in this hoax drama.  However Michael has the magic, the only true drawing power for me-- he is the hub of the wheel for me, and is I'm sure, the reason we are all here. :Michael_Jackson_dancing_smile

About MJ breaking away from the Jackson 5, MJ once said himself, that he needed to break away from his brothers because he had a lot of creative things inside that he wanted to do and express, and his brothers didn't always want to follow his lead but had their own ideas.  MJ didn't want to be tied down or restricted by family, which is completely natural and normal for any young person.

Let's please have patience and respect for each other and all MJ's family.

About Jermaine's song, he mentioned it in his book.  I don't have it with me right now but from what I remember, Jermaine said he recorded the song when he was angry at Michael (I can't remember why).  But Jermaine also said he didn't write it, that it was Babyface and someone else and that Jermaine never intended to release it.

Yep...that is what I have read also. I think the story was that Jermaine was about to work with these 2 big wigs, and that Michael lured them away from the project and they ran after the bigger [biggest] star. This left Jermaine upset as he saw his shot for mega stardom snatched from his fingers.  The story goes that the 2 record producers ended up getting replaced , and Michael went with another producer.  After which they went back licking their wounds and gathered up Jermaine to start on the initial project. But as they were all venting about their dealings [ or no dealings] with MJ, they penned this little ditty and recorded it as a goof off.  Jerms thought they were just mucking around letting off steam. He never dreamed that they would actually leak it to that DJ who played it on the launch of Black and White.  Jermaine got used big time and worst of all, he still cops all the blame for this from MJ fans to this day.  I say the 2 producers pulled off quite a scam here. They dissed MJ and got Jermaine to pay for the whole rap.
