I can`t post here  http://www.michaeljacksonhoaxforum.com/forum/index.php/topic,21118.25.html so I`ll say it here.

I was watching today "Michael Jackson -Life of an Icon" and what was odd to me is that at credits...they say "In memory of Weldon Arthur McDougal III  1930-2010".  :computer-losy-smiley:

:WTF:

Why did they say in Memory of this guy? The movie is about Michael...his life... why they put that guy there ? IF Michael is dead like they say to us..why didnt they say in memory of Michael Jackson 1958-2009?

Weldon Arthur Mc Dougal III ...something about him here :

Thanks Flory24, I hadn't heard of this man! I guess only the actual dead need the 'In memory of'!

I never heard of this man before... But it seemed strange that the documentary will be in his memory and not in memory of Michael...IF and i say IF Michael is dead as was told it was normal that the documentary to be in his memory no? and from what I saw they did not specify this name Weldon Arthur Mc Dougal even once in all documentary.

I search a little bit his name on google and i found that he was the man who discover Jackson 5.

@MJonmind - I think you hit the nail on the head.

I've never heard before this name, but  seems fair to me a tribute if he has discovered the Jackson 5  :icon_razz:

He died in 2010. So probably when they were doing the movie and maybe he was ask to help or talk in the movie...I often see that kind of ''in memory'' on TV when it's the last project of the decease person.

now i admit i didn't see all of this but i think there was an interview with him or talk about him at some point so if he was involved with michael and the jackson five it would have been a reason for them to give him an honorable mention of that nature, i think, that's all.

Why not just tell people I'm an alien from Mars? Tell them I eat live chickens and do a voodoo dance at midnight. They'll believe anything you say, because you're a reporter. But if I, Michael Jackson, were to say, "I'm an alien from Mars and I eat live chickens and do a voodoo dance at midnight," people would say, "Oh, man, that Michael Jackson is nuts. He's cracked up. You can't believe a single word that comes out of his mouth."
