Or some of them, the  that more  draw my attention,...... that shit is this? :WTF:

This photoshoot from Bulgarian fashion mag 12 Magazine features models mutilated in all kinds of sick ways. While the photoshoot is supposed to showcase "makeup", it is mostly another way of glamorizing violence and dehumanization in mass media, especially in the fashion world. This model has a black eye which is also a way to flash the one eye sign.

This one has a creepy smile carved in her face, as if she was tortured by a sadistic torture guy.

Her was face apparently burned by acid or something...these are the of kind of mutilations that purposely leave lifetime scars to send a message to someone.

She got her neck slit...And look at that fabulous eye shadow!

Star Photographer Terry Richardson has been featured a few times on this site due to his disturbing, degrading and symbolic photoshoots. A recent example is this photoshoot featuring the troubled actress Lindsay Lohan. In this pic, she is holding a loaded gun to her head. The most unsettling thing about this pic is Lohan's expression – she appears genuinely not well.

I guess that's another way to do it.

Very disturbing pictures.....

Those pictures are sick.  But I find the pictures of Lindsey even more disturbing because they made me recall Amy Winehouse and Brittany Murphy having pictures or recent movie plots that resemble their murder/ demises just prior to their passings. And that's a cause for concern.
I'm no intellectual art critic, but I  know what I do and do not like. I like my art to be uplifting and a thing with merit and beauty. To be left with some betterment or addition from seeing or hearing it. If I want to see ugliness I will opt to watch the local news reports or read the paper thanks. Kind of makes me think of that artist Damien Hirst [ I think that is his name] who sliced up horses and then encased the slivered parts in fiberglass so one could view the insides when passing between the pieces. Look....I'll just save myself the admission fee and go tour my local meat slaughter house instead. Sheesh....the things that try to pass as art these days. Okay....end of rant for now......

Glamorizing violence against women (or anyone) is disgusting.  I saw the Lindsay Lohan pics a few days ago and was immediately reminded of similar pics that Brittany Murphy had taken.  That first pic of Lindsay is very disturbing and she looks extremely distressed.
