As investigators sifted through the evidence from the raids on the office and storage unit of Michael Jackson's doctor, Dr. Conrad Murray, ABCNews.com learned that Murray's father once ran afoul of the Texas Board of Medical Examiners for over-prescribing pain medications.

Murray's father, Dr. Rawle Andrews, a well-respected Houston physician, now deceased, had his medical license restricted by the board in 1994 for prescribing "controlled substances and substances with addictive potential" to two patients for "extended periods of time without adequate indication," according to documents obtained by ABCNews.com

SO.. IF DR CONRAD MURRAYS FATHER WAS SUSPENDED FROM PRACTICING MEDICINE, THEN WHY ISNT DR MURRAY??  Makes no sense to me... something is very wrong here.
His father had his licence suspended for "over prescribing".  Yet in Conrad Murrays case, someone allegedly died??..  but yet he still has his licence!  :roll:

And the best quote from the article:  Murray's lawyers have maintained for weeks that the doctor was simply a witness in Jackson's death and had nothing to do with it.

murray's case is different..someone died. those kind of cases take years in court, like anna nicole's.
her doctors hadn't been prosecuted until now, 3 years after her death.

No, no, no.. hang on.  The fact that someone alledged died DOES make it different.. it makes it MORE serious.
There is a duty of care here for any future patients of Dr Murray.
Imagine if another person dies at the hands of Dr Murray.. heads will roll!!!!   Questions will be asked as to why steps were not taken to protect the public!!!  If nothing else, to suspend a licence is a back-covering exercise by the authorities.

The fact that a criminal trial may take years means the medical board have a DUTY OF CARE to the public to ensure the safety of the public.
Someone doesnt have to be arrested/charged with a criminal offence in order for their licence to be suspended.  They can suspend it pending the outcome of any criminal proceedings.

How can you be so naief,Anna Nicole is dead!And to be hounest if I dont see him alive and well next year I give up,sorry.I try to find adresses from the family to ask them questions but no result till now.

Anna Nicoles death was ruled an accidental drug overdose of the sedative chloral hydrate that became increasingly lethal when combined with other prescription drugs in her system.
At the time of her death, she did not have a personal doctor by her side injecting drugs into her system which directly related to her death.  (Dr Murray has supposedly admitted to administering Propofol intravenously which the coroner ruled as a direct cause of his "death" and ruled it as homocide)

So, although there may be similarities to Anna Nicoles case i do not think the two merit being compared in this way, because the differences are glaringly different.
The doctors in Anna Nicoles case were all charged with offences relating to "prescribing prescription drugs" in false names, and the such:

Dr Murray was THERE at the time of death, and supposedly DIRECTLY INJECTED THE DRUG WHICH DIRECTLY CONTRIBUTED TO MJS DEATH"

There is a massive difference between the two cases here.

Dr Murray could have his medical licence evoked for breaking the hippocratic oath:

If you read what i have stated, i am referring to the fact that no-one died in the case of Dr Murrays father and yet he still had his licence revoked.
