Patricia Houston Whitney's sister in law said "Let the believers believe" and BET is  showing Whitney  photos  standing like Michael (Christ like).

Also the service has a lot to do with God (I know it's in a church and that Whitney was religious) but it just seems like it's repeated over and over again, using Bible voices, singing songs to do with God etc.

Well, to me this is not a normal statue. That is a coffin. Egyptians used to put the mummies inside a coffin.  Its purpose is to protect the body from damage because the body is needed in the afterlife so the dead person (King) could live again. Coffins were put inside each other - like the russain doll - and they had a human shape.

"A sarcophagus was also usually provided to hold the coffin in the tomb. The Greek etymology of "sarcophagus" is "flesh eater". However, this is not really the Egyptian interpretation. In their ancient language, the sarcophagus might be called neb ankh (possessor of life). There are several other words for coffins and sarcophagi, but perhaps the most relevant to this discussion are wet and suhet. We do not precisely understand the meaning of wet, though it appears to be derived from the words for "mummy bandage" and to embalm. The Egyptians were (and continue to be) attracted to word play, so it is likely no coincidence that another word, wetet, which would have sounded similar, meant "to beget". In other words, from the coffin the deceased will be reborn. This pun is strengthened by the word suhet, used for "inner coffins" or perhaps "mummy board". This is also the word for "egg", from which new life emerges (and hence its association with Easter)."

Egyptian Statues in tombs have several meanings. They play the role of the mummy if it is destroyed or stolen (or disappeared) from the tomb because the mummy is needed for the afterlife!

I really don't know why this statue, or coffin was put there ! Maybe it has a special meaning for the Illuminati occult! Maybe it is hoax related and plays the role of the disappeared body!!!!!

What really bothers me is Whitney's daughter that was rushed to the hospital two times the day Whitney died!!! If that was a hoax then her daughter wouldn't be in such a terrible condition!!! That is really sad!!!

Hi everyone!!!
I'm new here and I'd like to say 'hi' to all of you fine people! I have been a BeLIEver from the beginning tho.

At first i was devasted to hear about Whitney and just crying and too emotional... I dunno when the hoax idea hit me... but it was a way to escape the pain even if for a few minutes... so i started to indulge the idea... and so many little things kept striking me... So i decided to google 'Whitney Houston death hoax' - you guys are the only ones talking about it really. I was so relieved and encouraged to find others thinking like me! I decided it was really high time I joined this site cuz of course like all believers I have been aware of it for a long time.

Sadly, I believe Whitney’s gone.  It feels too real to me.

On another note, right before Whitney’s sister spoke there was a woman from the back row that came down and hugged the family with some dark glasses on and straight hair like MJ's, who seemed to have some very broad shoulders  :shock:

As for the "Egyptian Statue/ casket" I just find it weird that the day before WH funeral, the official MJ website (michaeljackson.com/us) posted a photo of a magazine cover showing the making of "Remember the time" where we have the obvious Egyptian theme....
