  • To die would be an awfully big adventure.
Michael asked about the valley of death, says Deepak Chopra

I can not copy and paste the article, but you guys need to read it. Deepak Chopra says:

"Michael once asked me, what's the drug that takes you to the valley of death and then brings you back."

What an interesting expression to use. ;) He also said:

Dr Chopra has often said that MJ sudden death was almost fated - "like he was hurtling towards it. He wanted to die like Elvis Presley.

This is definitely a very interesting article. Here is the link:

Michael asked about the valley of death, says Deepak Chopra

He's the 3 AM friend to some of the world's most powerful and celebrated people. So what do you ask the guru of well-being who was on Michael Jackson's speed dial for two decades?

Deepak Chopra, new-age guru, author, pioneer of mind-body healing, will speak at the Jaipur Literature Festival on January 22 and then shoot an episode with Oprah Winfrey the following day.

The segment with Oprah is part of the premiere of her new original primetime series - Oprah's Next Chapter - on the Oprah Winfrey Network.

"Oprah's among the most powerful women in the world. She's extremely intelligent, she reads a lot (more than anyone I know), you know that's why she was so successful with the Book Club," says Dr Chopra. Oprah's Book Club, a discussion segment on her epic talk show for 15 years, catapulted many obscure titles to bestsellers, with Oprah's clout spiking sales.

"You know, people usually think of celebrities somewhere up there, they can't relate to them. With Oprah, everyone can relate to her. She's wonderfully down-to-earth," he says.

From Oprah, the questions shift to the inevitable ones on the King of Pop - Michael Jackson - whom Dr Chopra met somewhere around 1988. A friendship that lasted nearly two decades and one in which he received a call from Michael just two days before his death. "He left a message on my answering machine...said he wanted to share some good news with me. " "Wasn't Michael Jackson under pressure...that's what the reports said...that he was under pressure over his comeback concert," I asked him. "He didn't sound like he was under pressure. He was excited with this new song, Breathe, and he wanted me to look over the lyrics. It's on the environment," says Dr Chopra.

Despite the last happy memories and Michael Jackson's obvious excitement over his new composition, Dr Chopra has often said that Michael Jackson sudden death was almost fated - "like he was hurtling towards it. He wanted to die like Elvis Presley."

"Michael once asked me, what's the drug that takes you to the valley of death and then brings you back. That was propofol , I didn't know then, he adds. The pop icon's autopsy report cites the cause of death as acute propofol intoxication.

The copy of "Breathe" lies with Dr Chopra, "I have contacted his lawyers, and his estate, I can't keep what isn't mine," he says.

The wellness guru who says he is never stressed, has a happier story to wrap up with. A joke he shared with Oprah Winfrey and with us, but not one that he wants published as yet. Instead, here's a quote that Dr Chopra says keeps him stress-free: "What people think of you is none of your business. What you think of yourself is what matters."

One more quote from mr.Chopra on LKL 2009 that " Michael is having a metaphorical death".
That was on the interview together wth his son Gotham, who is very dear friend of Mike.

Sleep well @MISSG!  '))

Assumptions there!

Working with Michael, doesn't make you a dear friend - it makes you an ASSOCIATE!

One of my pet peeves in any business - everyone says they know so & so; but what they mean, is they MET them, not KNOW them. Gets to be a PITA!

I see Chopra cashing in on popularity, but his son was trying to do business. Neither makes you a FRIEND. Going on tour for a summer and having sex with the crew, does NOT make you a friend, either - never heard Michael's side of that, only one sided.

Actually, that's what has been driving me crazy: so many people have been saying how good of friends they were with Michael, but I've NEVER heard Michael say it out of all the years (decade plus), that there was!

WHERE was Gotham, when Michael was in trial?
Sorry, just not buying it - words after the fact pester me immensely. Kind of like how people will hang out with people when they think they're going to get a free ride, money - but when they find out things aren't going to rub off on them, they jump ship. But if the person dies, "Oh, we were best buddies!" Even though they abandoned them during their darkest hours.

That's how I look at things - and I only saw a few people risking their reputations for Michael, and went on record for it!

"A metaphorical death" is one thing. To retro-actively answer things, that's called "hindsight 20/20."

When the dust clears, I do believe that we, in on the Hoax, and those, who couldn't believe watching their own eyes (even though the hospital didn't follow protocol with the handling of dead bodies). The "Rescue 5" Helicopter taking off with the belted, moving body, while the police and Rescue people fussed over the dummy.

No, I believe it's going to go down in HiStory, as the best story. Because more and more people will now understand how Michael was set up, how rediculous Propofol to sleep is (I slept AFTER I took it - 2 to 3 days? Just starving after I was able to eat).

I will leave it in Joaquin Phoenix, his people to explain it:

What we all suspected about Joaquin Phoenix for the past couple of years has turned out to be true: he was never genuinely pursuing a hip-hop career, or messed up on drugs, or suddenly incapable of forming a coherent sentence, or totally losing his mind. His behavior since late 2008 has all been an act.

Casey Affleck -- Phoenix's brother-in-law and the director of "I'm Still Here," the documentary about Phoenix's alleged new direction in life -- confirmed in a New York Times interview that nothing in the movie nor in Phoenix's off-camera antics, including that famous interview with David Letterman, was real. (See the full clip of said interview at the end of this post.)

"It's a terrific performance, it's the performance of his career," Affleck tells reporter Michael Cieply, later adding that, "We wanted to create a space ... you believe what's happening is real." The question is: how will Phoenix's fans and moviegoers feel about it?

Whatever you may think about the merits of the effort, it's hard to argue with Affleck's assertion that Phoenix delivered quite a performance. While it was fair to assume his addled, bearded weirdness was all an act, he committed so fully to it that it was just as easy to think he had genuinely fallen off the rails.

I also think there is something, for lack of a better word, brave in what Phoenix did. At a time when other celebrities are perhaps more conscious than ever before about how to cultivate an image -- not only by signing on to the right projects, but by agreeing to certain precisely airbrushed magazine shoots or by actively maintaining an often-updated, aggressively funny Twitter feed -- Phoenix willingly shredded his excellent reputation. And not just for a month or two, but for two entire years, with no guarantee he'd be able to recover.

Now, one could easily argue that, given the (so far) mediocre box office impact of "I'm Still Here," all that performance art was for naught. I am sure Affleck and Phoenix -- who is set to make his triumphant return next week to the "Late Show With David Letterman" -- are letting us all in on the joke now in the hope that, perhaps, it will make people more likely to see and understand what they were trying to do in the film.

But whether or not the movie succeeds, Phoenix and Affleck certainly proved that, as a society, we're willing to believe that anyone -- even a respected Academy Award nominee -- can completely lose his way almost overnight. Their project also demonstrates that, for better or for worse, it is entirely possible to transform one's image if a person tries hard enough.

Of course, now Phoenix has to make the effort to change that image back. As the New York Times and both the L.A. Times note, he has started to consider movie roles again. Honestly, I doubt seriously that it will be terribly hard for Phoenix to win back people's favor. In Hollywood, they'll probably be tipping their hat to his inspired insanity and using it to argue that he's the undisputed finest actor of his generation.

How do you feel about the Joaquin Phoenix fakery?
It was a work of genius. I'm in awe that he pulled it off for so long.
It was ridiculous and I'm annoyed thatI fell for it.
I always knew it wasn't real so I don't have strong feelings one way or the other.
I don't care either way about the so-called hoax. I just want him to start making movies like "Walk the Line" again.
Results:

Let's see if the chart loaded, as I feel all of this relates to Michael. People will be so happy, especially if he's been working on something. We've been left many, many crumbs leading to it, and I've hinted at a project like it! rr/

I've learned to post pics, so I found this rather interesting: Propofol is great during surgery, to chop the peaks off the mountains, when an emergency happens suddenly, such as heart problems!

Importance of SWAN Ganz numbers, which reflect how the heart is working during surgery:

Hypoxemia - suffocation/lack of oxygen - how the anesthesiologist saves his/her patient, and re-stabilizes them!

I <3 Dr. Gallagher! He explains WHY the Ratio, PA numbers mean, and how to utilize the ratios to save a life.
THIS is why you must always have those bloody beeping machines - it's necessary, even after surgery.
bearhug I just know...Michael would never do anything, that took him away from his kids forever!
