I know it's been mentioned a long time ago in a Dave Dave thread, but what doesn't add up is that the first hatman at the funeral was attending right when Dave Dave was being interviewed. To me Dave Dave is way more like Michael than hatman number 1, which is why I don't think hatman number 1 is Michael.

But when Marlon came on stage while being introduced on XFactor he had sunglasses on too. Isn't it a wonder they did not pan to them ever seated in the crowd and just showed the mother and the kids.

Are we sure the Dave Dave interview was live?  I know they said that, but, I hate to break it to you, but these people have been known to LIE from time to time.

There might be two hatmans as well. The first one is different than the other... The fact that the second hatman was at the same time on TV as Dave Dave, doesn't mean that the fist hatman wasn't MJ in disguise...

 @Fatalkiss, you're confusing different VERSIONS of the same song, with different LYRICS to a song. Yes, there was the similar version of Billie Jean done by Chris Cornell, but not different lyrics written by the artist on American Idol. They (AI) only do covers NOT original music, whereas X-Factor does. Just like the situation with Chris Daughtry the lyrics were not changed, it was merely a cover of an already existing version of a song.


 Same lyrics; different versions (covers) compared to the original songs. Therefore, Chris Rene's version was not just a cover of MJ's song, but his own original version. He is a song writer and performs his own music on the show all the time, in fact you can buy his music. The rappers on the show do indeed write their own original version of a song, so yes those were Chris' lyrics.

 If you want to believe Michael wrote them you can, but I think other things could be better taken as clues.

Not to shatter anyone's hopes of the X-Factor Hatman being MJ, but I saw hatman with Branca at Fanfest in Las Vegas yesterday. The following picture is of hatman and Cee-Lo Green. I was taking a picture initially of Cee-Lo Green. When I went looking through my pictures I noticed that I captured hatman in my Cee-Lo Green pictures.

Hatman and Branca arrived together about 2 hours into the start of Fanfest. (They arrived at the same time the Cee-Lo Green entourage arrived.) (we went to the 5-9 session on Saturday) John Branca was very nice and even posed for a picture for me and also let my hubby take a picture of me and momof3kids with him.  I told him that we were HUGE fans of MJ (obviously) and he said, "I am too."  Branca also asked if we were going to the Cirque Show and we said yes.

We saw hatman and Branca walking around for a short time and then they left together. I was really close to hatman and he was bald and did not look anything like someone in disguise. I'm now convinced that he was not MJ and in fact a close confidant/bodyguard type to Branca. He wore his sunglasses at Fanfest as well and it was dark in there. Cee-Lo Green also wore his dark glasses while walking through Fanfest.

I'm going to check with momof3kids to see if she's okay with me posting the pic of Branca and us before I post it so I'm only posting the picture that I took of Branca alone.

The Fanfest and Cirque Shows were beyond amazing! I can't even begin to describe how amazing it was. I will post my thoughts in and things I saw in the Cirque thread.

Anewfan - THANK YOU so so much for sharing this with us. I am thankful that you've seen this person and believe he's not MJ. I am curious as to why Branca was at Fanfest, not just one day but apparently several days. I'll go in search of the Cirque thread as I'm anxious to hear about your time in Vegas.

Why would 2 guys who look exactly the same, and happen to be right by Branca at 2 different occasions be 2 different guys? I guess I can't be 100% sure, but my common sense is telling me that this person is the same person that was on X-Factor. I saw this guy with my own two eyes, but anyone can believe what they want. I know what I believe.
