Going for a Moonwalk? Nicola Stapleton raises a few eyebrows with her choice of footwear at Michael Jackson film premiere
She's not exactly a red carpet regular but Nicola Stapleton made sure her presence was felt at the premiere of the new Michael Jackson film last night.
The actress is back on the celebrity circuit thanks to her return to EastEnders as the infamous Mandy, but all eyes were on her feet at the central London screening which took place at the Empire cinema.
Nicola, 37, wore a pair of high-heeled shoes that had spats attached to them.

Perhaps it was in homage to Michael Jackson's footwear in his Moonwalker movie.
She matched the unusual footwear combination with a smart black LBD and black tights.
In 1988 movie Moonwalker Michael Jackson is seen wearing spats and a white suit during fight scenes and dancing scenes towards the film's close.

Meanwhile, somebody who makes no secret of their love for the late King Of Pop in Jodie Marsh.
Jodie, 32, was surprisingly demure at the red carpet event.

She wore a tight-fitting dark purple dress, showing off her tattooed arm, matched with a pair of beige heels featuring studded detailing around the heel area.
Miss Marsh also had her hair styled into a sleek fringe, giving her a slightly different, more toned-down, look to normal.
Before the event she took to Twitter to announce to followers that she would be attendance.
She excitedly wrote: 'On my way to Michael Jackson World Premiere!!!!!!! His mum & family going to be there! So so nervous but excited all at same time.'
Later she added: 'I am the biggest Michael Jackson fan in the world and I'm at the premiere with his family. Awesome.'
And, once inside the cinema, she tweeted: 'Oh shit. Premiere hasn't even started & I'm in tears . As a Michael fan this is so emotional!! Everyone here loves him so much!!'

Also adding a touch of glamour to proceedings were model Caprice, Strictly Come Dancing star Nancy Dell'Olio, Alexandra Burke and Liz McLarnon.
Caprice flaunted her fantastic figure in a formulaic bandage dress, with light brown heels.
X Factor winner Alexandra Burke went for a floor-length navy number with a quaint pair of ruby-coloured flats.

Meanwhile Nancy and Liz both opted for all-black ensembles - Nancy in a low-cut LBD and former Atomic Kitten Liz wearing a black jumpsuit.
Most importantly Michael Jackson's brother Tito was in attendance alongside the director of the new film, David Gest.
Gest, a firm friend of the Jackson's for decades, is responsible for the new film which covers Michael's tragic life from his childhood up until his death, offering insight from Gest's in-depth knowledge of the late star and his upbringing.
