This is my favourite:

Does her shirt say, "Boo"?
Interesting....could that mean Halloween? ;D

Quote
boo
1: An affectionate name for someone you love.

2: Something that a ghost says.

Perhaps this is why the MJ Tribute concert HAD to take place during the trial.  MJ the friendly ghost is saying to the people and world he loves, I love you and this is ALL -- "Thriller 2" (Paris' jacket)--trial, death and all, a scare just for fun! This is all Thriller 2, because I had to top Thriller, and I promised 'the best is yet to come'.
"Boo!" is also a more kid-friendly kind of scare, that kinda reminds me of MJ's Ghost video where the kids love it!

Did I hear that the verdict of the trial was coming out on October 31 or was that my imagination?

Her belt looks like a word but I can't make it out. The buckle looks like a shirt with buttons.
Quote
"I'm gonna button my shirt
or my jacket or whatever it is.
I'm gonna look around a little bit,
play with them.
[SNAPPING FINGERS]
Snap my fingers maybe, then bam!

I'm still of a mind this event didn't happen.  The video footage from welshchick2 is horrid I couldn't watch Beyonce or Ne-Yo.  Someone on Youtube made a great comment.

Quote
WTF did you film this with???A potatoe??And why do you keep zooming in and out when you know it ruins the sound??

Is she the only person out of 50,000 that managed to take videos?  I also think the background noise sounds fake.  Are we back at the 02 announcement?

Must have been a boring concert... Is it me or does it look like they have offered free seats and are people sorry they even attended?

Where are all the fans with gloves and fedoras? The only one I see seems to be photoshopped into the picture. Sorry, but I have a hard time believing this actually happened. There is something strange with those pictures, it seems staged. I really would like to hear from someone who was there.

Actually, it wasn't a boring concert at all. The show was very special and awsome mj_dance/ . As I've witnessed the reactions of the crowd they didn't find it boring as well. I admit that this picture doesn't represent the over all atmosphere in the arena, imho. I've seen people laughing, yelling, singing, crying, hands up and an amazing crowd wave. There were some MJ look-a-likes michael-jackson/ , many gloves and MJ hats, I've seen from a far distance an impersonator. Jamie Foxx did a great job, he's a great entertainer with a good sense of humor. As far as the hoax investigation concerns, I wasn't really a good investigator  during the concert, may be because I was too overwhelmed and sometimes too emotional that my hoax vision was a bit blurred. It was striking that Marlon asked the crowd: "Can you feel the spirit of Michael in the house tonight?" 8-) ;) YES, I did! And there was one moment that Latoya (I think) anounced a BIG SURPRISE with a pauze.... Well, that was pretty clear to me, not only to me, to my husband as well and he's NOT a beLIEver. I think Jamie talked about a surprise as well. What could've been a surprise if the list of performers has already been announced long before the concert? They know how to build a tension, especially for beLIEvers, keep it sizzling & simmering ;)
Anyways, I did have a great time, I loved it. I hope you did too Michael :-*
L.O.V.E.

CARDIFF, Wales >> Chart-toppers, soul singers and three generations of Michael Jackson's family — including his children — celebrated the King of Pop at an energetic tribute concert Saturday, urging fans to focus on the late star's music rather than his death.
The run-up to the "Michael Forever" concert was overshadowed by the Los Angeles manslaughter trial of Jackson's doctor, and marred by fan criticism, sluggish ticket sales and dissension within the Jackson family. But once the four-hour show started, Jackson's musical genius, and the warm tributes of friends and family, carried the night.
"We're very happy to be here on this special night to honor our father," said Jackson's 13-year-old daughter Paris, who made a brief onstage appearance alongside brothers Prince, 14, and 9-year-old Michael Joseph Jr., known as Blanket.
The children wore outfits evoking their father's famous styles — Paris most strikingly, in a red and black "Thriller"-style jacket. Blanket stood stoic and shy, but the older children smiled and appeared confident in the spotlight.
On a stage shaped like a giant glove, musicians including Christina Aguilera, Gladys Knight and Cee Lo Green performed songs from across Jackson's career — from his childhood with the Jackson 5 through monster solo albums like "Thriller" and "Bad."
The Black Eyed Peas, probably the biggest act on the bill, pulled out of the lineup this week, citing "unavoidable circumstances."
Participants urged fans to ignore the criticism and controversy, and to revel in the celebration of Jackson's musical legacy.
"It's not about the controversy," said R&B star Ne-Yo, who kicked off the show with a rendition of "Billie Jean," complete with some passable moonwalking. "It's not about the trial. It's not about his death. It's about celebrating his life. It's about celebrating his music."
The 50,000-strong crowd at Cardiff's Millennium Stadium did just that, roaring with approval as Jackson's brothers Marlon, Tito and Jackie — three-fifths of the original Jackson 5 — took the stage to perform "Blame It On the Boogie" with British boyband JLS.
"Can you feel his spirit in the house tonight?"   asked Marlon. Judging by the cheers, the fedora hats and the sequined gloves in the audience, many could.
Jackson died in June 2009, at age 50, as he was preparing for a string of comeback concerts in London.
His last hours are being relived in graphic detail at the manslaughter trial of Dr. Conrad Murray, accused of giving Jackson a lethal dose of the anesthetic propofol and other sedatives in the bedroom of his rented mansion on June 25, 2009.
"This is a great counter-act to that," said Motown great Smokey Robinson, who gave a soulful rendition of "She's Out of My Life." ''And it gives people something happy to do, rather than thinking about what's going on in the trial."
The show mined a rich trove of Jackson hits. Leona Lewis crooned "I'll Be There," Beyonce delivered the early single "I Wanna Be Where You Are" and Jamie Foxx performed "Rock With You." Aguilera sang Charlie Chaplin's "Smile" — one of Jackson's favorite songs.
"Tonight is a history lesson," Foxx told the crowd. "We're going to cover five decades of greatness."
The show reached a climax with Knight performing the poignant "Gone Too Soon" before a rousing finale that brought most of the performers — and the Jackson children — back onstage for the exuberant "Don't Stop Til' You Get Enough."
The concert has divided the King of Pop's family and followers. The three brothers, sister La Toya and vocal group 3T — composed of three of Michael's nephews — all performed, while 81-year-old matriarch Katherine was in the audience.
But Michael's brothers Jermaine and Randy and sister Janet have stayed away, saying it is wrong to hold the show at the same time as Murray's trial.
Before the show, Marlon Jackson said he respected his siblings' decision, but said he was sure Michael would have approved.
"Each one of us grieves differently," he said. "We want to celebrate the positive side of his life, the positive things that he did."
Some fan groups around also criticized the show for ticket prices that started at about $100 and for what some regard as an out-of-the-way location in Cardiff, 150 miles (240 kilometers) west of London.
"I believe it should wait, not only because of the Murray trial," said Wesley Noorhoff, president of a Dutch Michael Jackson fan club. "If you do a tribute to Michael, it has to be the best there is, just like Michael."
But those who came to Cardiff said it was a fitting antidote to the grim courtroom spectacle in Los Angeles.
"There's a lot of negativity in that courtroom," said Ronnie Lee, a 32-year-old truck driver from Pembroke, Wales, sporting a "Thriller" T-shirt. "This is a chance to say, 'Thank you Michael' and celebrate the music."
As the crowd poured out of the stadium, opinion was divided.
"Rubbish," said Sophie Stockdale, 23. "If you wanted to watch Beyonce on video link, you could do it on YouTube."
But Sophie Morris, also 23, said she'd loved it.
"It was amazing," she said. "I actually cried three or four times."

Yes it did happen and I was there... as a resident of Cardiff I was thrilled when it was announced that the Michael Forever Concert was coming to Cardiff. Upon enquiring about purchasing tickets we had the donation fiasco then the countdown clock purchasing tickets fiasco ...but.. none the less I still wanted to attend and was informed on Thursday 6th October that tickets were being sold half price at Ticketline and Groupon and vouchercloud...I rang Ticketline and asked why they were halfprice and the guy said that only 15,OOO tickets had been sold ...and that the stadium capacity was for 74,OOO people... we purched "gold standing tickets" from Vouchercloud for £45.OO  whoop whoop  we thought... we met up with friends in a local pub ...and bragged about our halfprice tickets and were flabbergasted when they informed us that they had tickets FREE  ..from Cardiff City Council or the Welsh Tourist office as they worked for them ...I would imagine that this was to get "bums on seats" as the concert was being recorded . Whilst I did enjoy Tito,Marlon,Jackie ,Smokey and Gladys the likes of Britains Got Talent and the XFactor contestants Alexandra Burke,Leona Lewis,JLS and Diversity were all really good acts we felt that Michael deserved bigger stars to fill their shoes ..where were they ????  Considering the stage was built as the largest event rig ever used at a european stadium ...where were the massive screens normally used at a major event ..we were reduced to tiny portable television screens posistioned in the seating area ...GRRRRR  also long breaks between performers whilst they swept and mopped the stage to no Michael Jackson songs playing in the background to keep the crowd motivated ...just silence....very poorly organized by Globalevents.  I attended Michaels concert in the late 80"s in Cardiff and he was AMAZING ..the amtomosphere was electric... I felt none of this at this show. The highlight for me was when the children came on stage ...

I think that it could be Michael's intention to let artists in different career stages perform. Some of them are in a beginning stage of their career and some are artists who deserve much more credit and they need to shine, or they need to shine again. This tribute concert might be an excellent chance to shine in the spotlights. This concert is not just for the public, it’s also for the artists who deserve more, it's all for L.O.V.E.

It depends on your expectations and your personal perspective. Of course it is your opinion, which is based on your experience of a Michael Jackson concert. I've never experienced this, but I'd imagine the electric atmosphere Michael created at his concerts, which will never be equalized (unless Michael performs again of course  ;D ). I think this tribute concert didn't have the intention or the goal to be equalized or be compared with a Michael Jackson concert in the first place. Hope you enjoyed it anyway.

Michael's children did really well and they look amazing. Blanket is adorable. I bet Michael is super duper proud of them.

I think Blanket might have had his introduction in joining his older siblings on the acting front at this Tribute.

I think his little "slip up" was intentional. If you look at the gesture Prince gives Paris straight after Blanket say his bit..... he sort of motions to Paris indicating almost like OK now you are meant to step in and say your line which is meant to be the "official " line.

Off topic but... that top is FABULOUS!

Can I be like LaToya when I grow up! Looking pretty good @ 55 yrs old.....yesssssssssss, love the outfit!  :)

Of course, find yourself a good plastic surgeon and you can look forever young.  She had lots of surgery to look that way.

Wow, that's a snarky comment...  WTF?? I know people her age with way more surgery, yet they don't look that good. Besides that, she still has an amazing body. She obviously takes good care of herself, plus the Jacksons clearly have good genes. Or did you think Katherine had much surgery too? And what about Mike's other siblings? They all look amazing for their age.
First of all Souza I said the truth. She is a beautiful woman, nice body yes. Please your language.. for me  WTF??  is  vulgar. I will never swear at you or at any other human being. We all have our own opinion and maybe you should start respecting it. I did not talk bad about LaToya. I like her very much. Secondly, I did not talk about Katherine or her children, so please stop putting words in my mouth, and stop analysing what is in my head, because you will never guess in a million years. In life you can tell a person what ever you want, it is the way you say it. Maybe you should try it sometimes. I wish you a good night and blessings.

I'm happy to be alive, I'm happy to be who I am.
Michael Jackson

Toya looks great and Paris looks a lot like her aunt. :)

And although La Toya has had cosmetic surgery, she doesn't look fake at all. She deserves a lot of credit for the way she looks because her body is bangin' and her skin is flawless  ::P . We all have to keep in mind that Hollywood pressures celebrities to always 'look good for the camera'. We must not judge her, we wouldn't want to be judged ourselves.

This is irritating.  Everyone's reviewing this like it was a real event instead of investigating and analyzing the event (real or not) in terms of clues.

For example, is it an accident that there are 2 sets of white rabbit ears in the audience?

How are we to take this tribute seriously?  We need not go down the list of strange and ridiculous events again.   Read comments on the Youtube videos that have been posted.  THE Tribute for the King of Pop was by all accounts a flop.  I saw tons of empty seats.  No performance took my breath away or made me cry.  I would think for a Tribute the kids would be more circumspect, but instead Paris smiles and yells, 'Give it up for Beyonce.'

Where was Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder.....?  Why was there no footage of Michael shown?  Frankly it looked like a large disco and nothing more.   We all know Michael's genius.  Could he really have been involved in something this lame if it wasn't intentional?  If so, what was he trying to say?

Christina's horrid photos (and I believe they were deliberately horrid) and her singing Dirty Diana in Wales....MAYBE there's a clue here????

Blanket says something like "I'm very happy to introduce my father on this special night" then Paris corrects him and says" we're very happy  to be here to honor our father on this special night"

Billy Bush on Access Hollywood Live was commenting on this statement and he said " I bet everyone was waiting for Michael Jackson to walk out and say, SURPRISE, I'm ALIVE!!!"  OMG!

Funny he said that....then they moved on to another story...

I'm in the process of reading jermaine's book, Joe was organizing a concert in Japan or China ( not sure which) during the 2005 trial...maybe he's behind this mockery...and yes, it was a mockery...what a disgrace to Michael....
