Kai Chase -- Michael Jackson's Chef Testifies

Michael Jackson's personal chef Kai Chase just testified -- claiming a frantic Dr. Conrad Murray begged her for help the day MJ died, ten minutes before anyone called 911.

According to Chase, she was in the kitchen preparing lunch for Michael and his kids -- and between 12:05 and 12:10PM, Murray ran downstairs, yelling for her to "get Prince, get help, get security."

Chase claimed she sent Prince to Dr. Murray and returned to work.

Chase admitted she didn't contact security -- a point highlighted by defense attorney J. Michael Flanagan.

Yesterday, MJ's personal assistant Michael Amir Williams said Murray called him at 12:13 PM -- and Williams immediately phoned security.

While Chase was leaving court today, we asked if she thought her testimony was helpful -- she responded, "Absolutely."

Judge specifically said she could not discuss anything about her testimony with others and media. So isn't saying to TMZ that her testimony was helpful a violation? And why did TMZ only ask her? I haven't seen them asking any of the other witnesses.

In the middle of the "commotion" that had been in the house she continue cooking? A person who cares for their health according to what he said Kai Chase, because of the kind of food that she was preparing to Michael and his sons and then to hidden use an anesthetic to sleep more a lot of drugs, it is contradictory suspicious//

I thought this testimony was interesting, the best thus far  ....the attorneys on both sides kept hammering the point Dr. Murray said to Chai, "Get Help", "Get Security", "Get Prince"...is anyone else hearing what isn't being said? "Call 911"


I don't know about anyone else...but "Get Help" and "Call 911" ARE NOT the same thing.
When people mean "call 911"....they say "CALL 911!" ....not "get help"/ "get security" etc...etc..
Murray had a cell phone to call 911 (he called Michael Amir on it right? :| )

This is another instance of people twisting words and not listening to what is really being said, and running with it. 


The only person to report hearing the words was Alvarez...and even then I think it was "call for an ambulance...not call 911"(which would imply it's an emergency)
 
....anyone else notice how careful they are not to say Michael is/was dead or dying? (he was lying there eyes half open, arms at his side, looking towards the door)

...He had a "bad reaction" 

...wonder what the paramedics will say next....staying tuned  :geek:

To me they are laying a "reasonable doubt" foundation all over the place.  Contradictions left and right...."healthy eating versus drugs to sleep"....saying "get help" versus "call 911"...."he was in great shape" versus "he looked too thin and sick"... "everything seems normal" versus "nothing is normal"...it's the same tactic they've used all along...contradiction...and it's what will ultimately get Murray acquitted.

Have you seen her smiling in court? She had a smurk on her face.. They were asking her questions and she was starring at someone then she smiled.. I analysed her movements, she protrait a person who was very sure of herself. In ther other hand Alvarez, was about to cry at a certain point. He was very nervous, he tried to hide it, but he was nervous.. Maybe he was nervous because he was afraid of any slip ups.

I noticed that too...the reactions were opposite...I would have thought Alvarez would have been the confident one, since he's in security and has to deal with unusual stuff all the time and Kai the nervous wreck, because it would seem like something she doesn't deal with alot.  Poor Alvarez, he looks like someone about to crack under the pressure- I'm sure keeping this secret has been hell for him.  He's probably dealt with all kinds of craziness behind this. Mean spirited people, threats, getting turned down for work because companies don't want to deal with the publicity, etc...etc...It has to be hard....these are real people in the "real" world....

As for Kai, I think she was laughing with regards to the judge. He kept cutting off her answers when he felt like it....some things he'd let her ramble on and others he'd cut short.  Then you got the defense lawyers trying to twist her words to the point of being rude....I'm sure she just had to laugh to keep from going off on them. :lol:


Every single person that has testified, their dememanor changes on cross examination with Chernoff---you can almost feel the tensions.  Chernoff is coming off as a bully....and that can't help his case with jurors. 


If he's smart....he won't talk to Prince that way if he takes the stand...all hell will break loose then!

I didn't see Kai, but only Alberto, and I thought though he looked nervous I thought I saw a glimmer of a smile a few times, like he had a cool secret. When the attorney asked him if losing MJ had a negative effect on him, he looked very sad and said it had hurt him financially and he couldn't find a steady well-paying job like working for MJ. He didn't say that he had been depressed or grief stricken at losing a good friend which would be most people's response. Then the attorney asked him if he harbored any bad feelings towards Murray, and he said, "Not at all."  Wow the doctor just supposedly killed by incompetence his dear friend and income sourse. Hmmm...
But if MJ's alive then of course he's not mad at Murray, and perhaps the job situation is different right now while MJ's in hiding, although TMZ said he was doing some security for Lindsay Lohan.

I knew Kai Chase’s testimony would change but I what I didn't expect (actually, yes I did) is that neither the prosecution, or the defence, questioned her about all her 09 interviews. Are they daft? You are not allowed to view links. Register or Login
Looking forward to the paramedics testimony tomorrow. Wonder how they are going to skirt the "I didn't know it was Michael Jackson, I thought it was a frail old man". I'll bet neither side of the will bring up this statement either.
In regards to Alvarez - I thought Miko Brando was head of MJ’s security. He, too, was on every TV show in 09.  And where the heck is he? And why isn't he mentioned as a witness? 
BTW, did anyone catch Dr Tracy (MJ’s doctor from Ireland) on The Dr Drew show. He clearly doesn't buy any of this bs. He actually said Michael wanted everyone to think he was addicted to drugs when he wasn't.  The show is probably on HLN's website - have a look. Wish Doc Drew shut up long enough to let him finish. Unfortunately he only starts to get into this at the end of the interview.

Yep, I saw her as she stepped up to be sworn in and she was smiling the entire time. I thought it was strange considering it was a manslaughter trial. What's so funny?  She just struck me as someone who knows its all a hoax and she just wants to burst out laughing!  I keep remembering the statement, "The fewer the people in on the hoax the better." But again I say, as this hoax plays out it seems like there are more people in on it than we think.

This intrigued me too. I was imagining she could hear Michaels voice in her ear saying "everything will be okay, remember I am with you, remember what to say, you are safe".
