Just want to share about the seal....in the first week of the trial I was watching on HLN and when they went to break one day. Someone must have messed up with the cameras because when it broke away from the courtroom, the angle we saw was from the side camera and for a brief moment it showed the main camera pointed at a easel like thing with the picture of the seal exactly like we see on the live feed. So it was just a picture, like a big poster. Ford saw it too as we were talking about it in chat that day.  Just thought I'd share that, not sure if it has any significance or not.

LOVE & HUGS to my MJ Family!!!  And Michael/TS/FRONT....We LOVE You MORE!!!!  Hee Hee   :)

And just as a side note....my name on chat is a little different it's MJAlwaysandForever...when I made my nic I must have been sleeping because I did it opposite of this nic...lol

                                                       bearhug                  mj_bad/

MJ_Forever, amazing that you & Ford catched that brief camera shot of the seal. This was a very subtile clue ;D I once noticed the lightning on the seal was brighter too, I found that odd.

Love you too MJ_Forever

I've noticed that also and it makes sense that it could be a picture and not the seal above the judge. It's almost like taking a picture of a picture, in the photo you can see the light from the flash. So if it were actually the seal above the judges head, the only way to get the lighting to hit the seal is if there is a bright light that is going to capture it. Does that make sense?  At first I thought it was just a few letters and then decided against it.

There have been moments when they pan up to the seal that's hanging above the Judge's stand. In those moments, they pan up until you see the seal, then switch cameras to the straight on view. That straight on view may indeed be just a pic, it's possible.

Doesn't much matter though. Whether it's a real seal or just a pic, someone added a 32nd star and that's just not an excusable "mistake". It is purposeful.

lol is bringing up the "illusion" Michael was excited about doing the next day relevant if he had really died? I love how he said, to paraphrase:  "Michael was going to be doing an illusion the next day where he suddenly appeared, he loved these kind of things."
And this is relevant in a homicide trial?

It will decide this trial this week?

PRESLEY'S DOCTOR ACQUITTED ON ALL PRESCRIPTION CHARGES
Special to the New York Times
Published: November 5, 1981

MEMPHIS, Nov. 4— Dr. George Nichopoulos was acquitted today of 11 counts of criminally overprescribing addictive drugs to Elvis Presley, the country-western singer Jerry Lee Lewis and seven other patients.

The jury of six men and six women deliberated just over three hours before reaching the unanimous verdict for the acquittal on all counts.

Dr. Nichopoulos, 54 years old, hugged his wife, Edna, after the verdict was returned and shook hands with friends and other family members, including his two daughters, Elaine and Chrissie, who had crowded into the Memphis courtroom.

''I'm truly happy for Dr. Nichopoulos,'' the defense attorney, James F. Neal, said. ''I think he's been harassed for years. He is very thankful.''

Two of the jurors later congratulated Mr. Neal on his handling of the case. Directed Acquittal on 3 Counts

Judge Bernie Weinman of Criminal Court had directed acquittal of three counts against Dr. Nichopolous last week. The decision came after a witness for the prosecution had testified that there could have been a valid medical justification for the drugs the doctor was charged with prescribing for himself and a patient, Robert Deason.

In final arguments before the jury retired, Dr. Nichopoulos, who was indicted last January, was alternately portrayed as a kindhearted samaritan and as a physician with almost total disregard for accepted standards of medical practice.

Mr. Neal argued in his closing statement that Dr. Nichopoulos was a ''good samaritan'' who treated drug-dependent patients whom no other doctor wanted to accept.

''I can't think of anything that fits Dr. Nichopoulos better,'' Mr. Neal told the jury, referring to the biblical parable. ''Dr. George Nichopoulos is the man -the man who stopped and looked at these people and then offered to help. You are judging the samaritan.'' Prosecutors' View

However, the prosecutors, Jim Wilson and Jewett Miller, had another interpretation of Dr. Nichopoulos's actions. He was, they said, a physician who abused his authority in dispensing dangerous and addictive drugs.

In three weeks of testimony, the prosecutors showed that Dr. Nichopoulos prescribed more than 19,000 doses of narcotics, sedatives and stimulants to Mr. Presley in the 31 1/2 months before the entertainer died Aug. 16, 1977.

They also showed that he prescribed a variety of stimulants and sedatives to Mr. Lewis and the other patients. Dr. Nichopoulos acknowledged from the witness stand that he had prescribed the drugs, but he said many of those prescribed for Mr. Presley were thrown away or substituted with placebos, harmless, inert substances. Patients Already Had Problem

He also said all nine patients mentioned in the 11-count indictment had been getting drugs from other sources and already had a drug problem when they first came to him for treatment. Dr. Nichopolous said he gave them drugs in the hope of eliminating the other drug sources and then, once he became their sole supplier, weaning them from their drug dependency.

The prosecutors, who called 13 witnesses to the stand, were unable to establish clearly any other motive for the prescriptions. Dr. Nichopoulos received loans totaling $280,000 from Mr. Presley, but they were properly signed and executed and are being repaid, according to Beecher Smith, the attorney for the entertainer's estate.

Dr. Nichopoulos made little money from the other patients mentioned in the indictment, testimony showed. Mr. Lewis, for instance, paid an average of $9.10 for each examination he received from Dr. Nichopoulos. Internist's Testimony

Nonetheless, Dr. Alvin Cummins, a Memphis internist, testified that he could find no legitimate medical reason for any of the patients to receive the drugs. Such prescriptions, he said, were clearly contrary to accepted standards of medical practice.

However, Dr. Forest Tennant Jr., a drug researcher at the University of California at Los Angeles and one of 14 defense witnesses, said Dr. Nichopoulos might have made the wisest possible medical choice in prescribing the drugs while attempting to control the patients' intake.

Thank you Paula, that's very interesting that a verdict could be reached exactly 30 years after Elvis' doctor.

"In final arguments before the jury retired, Dr. Nichopoulos, who was indicted last January, was alternately portrayed as a kindhearted samaritan and as a physician with almost total disregard for accepted standards of medical practice."

Sounds very familiary, doesn't it?

HLN is saying a VERDICT could be reached today, how could they possibly know already what the jury will do?

Also, Walgren kinda flubbed words today when he was reading, instead of "act" he slipped twice by calling Conrad an "actor"...anyone else catch that??

Both arguments sounded like they read this forum. Did anyone see the strange pan up to the seal? You could see the background pattern then all of a sudden it cuts to the image; rather than slowly panning up to the seal.

Why is the pumpkin still in the courtroom? It keeps playing peek-a-boo behind Murrays head.

Gotta love Walgren referring to Dr. Whites' testimony as "garbage and junk science."
Edit: Paula mentioned the garbage bin and if you look at it while Walgren was speaking it was empty, afterwards it was filled with garbage. Maybe nothing :).

Okaaay.

I think they'll find him guilty  :? but have no idea really. Toya promised
us "guilty"

Know what's sad, if it all ends with this fall guy getting laughable months
"locked" at his house and this is how it all ends. Hoax or no hoax, this
should NOT end like this!

"Real MJ fans" think both hoaxers and conspiracy theorists {and LaToya}
are lunatics, but this is being short-sighted IMHO.  It's all either much brighter or
much darker than it looks! If MJ himself was telling again and again about conspiracy
and danger, why suddenly deciding he was just paranoid? Talk about disrespect
and underestimation. I would rather overestimate him {if it's possible at all!} than
make him "so naive yet paranoid he was like a helpless nutty baby all the time, couldn't
protect himself at all".

I noticed for the garbage too! Empty at the beginning, full in the end. Hmmm...probably Walgren's mention of "garbage" science.  suspicious//
